First post ever on this forum! Hello! My Gemini Moon is square my Pisces Mercury by less than one degree. I totally relate to the Moon-Mercury square description posted by sand. I feel emotionally immature and very conflicted at times. Often I have to give up what I know to be familiar and comforting to do what is ultimately best for me in a given situation. Soothing the wants of my Moon (which I think is dominant over my Mercury) is almost like giving junk food to a child; in the short-term it's gratifying and in the long-term it just makes you ill. Ugh.

Thanks for sharing! I appreciate your personal experience. My father, whom I don't share a relationship with, was born with the Moon in Pisces square Mercury in Sagittarius. "Emotionally immature" is an understatement. His Moon is unquestionably dominant, as its seldom he allows rationality to hold bearing over his exaggerated emotions. He's very high-strung and SENSITIVE to ANYTHING anyone says; he finds a way to construe it personally and negatively. Impossible to live with. Do you resonate with any of this? IP: Logged |

I have Moon trine Mercury in Earth. People that don't know me very well often assume I'm pretty intelligent/smart, but I'm not entirely convinced. I know I've got the basics down, but maybe my Taurus Moon lets me get a little sloppy. I also loooooove to tell stories, esp. connecting childhood events with the way I feel about things now. But my usual audience makes overtly bored body language, and/or cuts me off/ walks away. Boo... I'm always super excited when I meet someone that tells the same kind of stories I do. Usually it's another fire Sun.IP: Logged |

Hi alaz7200. A lot of it does resonate with me, I'm embarrassed to say. Something probably everyone in my family has said to me at one point or another is "I feel like I can't say ANYTHING to you!" I freak out a lot, it's true. Usually I feel it's my Moon compelling me to find someone or something responsible for the disturbing emotions I feel, and my Mercury being in Pisces, I can be a bit foggy as to finding a rational explanation (which I'm also embarrassed to say, usually doesn't bother me much). The most important thing I've learned in relation to this influence is to not repress my emotions, which always makes things unimaginably worse. I have to calm down and find a way to word things so I'm not just randomly slinging accusations, but I also have to voice my grievance to find out if it's justified or not, just to placate my nerves. The worst is just to let it simmer and then eventually explode, having already accepted my (usually a little crazy) conspiracy theory as truth without letting the other person share their perspective/intentions first. my son has moon opposite merc and moon square saturn and is also very stubborn. how he feels--his comfort zone--is how he measures his pov. it seems like you have dominant moon and mercury with each having so many aspects. do you have an opinion about mercury square the ascendant from the 4th (placidus), 3rd (equal house)? ------------------ leolion IP: Logged | |
