I think you are on to something about ascendant in synastry since ascendant changes fast and the probability of someone's asteroid and planet on anyone's ascendant must mean something. Similarly with descendant, IC, MC.

Do you happen to know what does psyche conjunct ascendant in synastry means?

With my best friend forever and ever forever never ever forever, we have ASC exact square, which I heard is twin flame stuff. Aside from that, I have her Moon on my ASC. I dunno, but it's really easy for me to understand what she's feeling even if she's not too sure. I know what to ask to get answers out of her. ;D

I have someone's psyche and soomana on my ascendant, with his osiris on my aphrodite. and his valentine conjunct my venus exact. Hehe.. I like him pretty much!

My ASC in her Fifth house...I'm unsure how that would play out; I assume I'd bring action or light into that house, which I guess I do. I certainly can bring out a liveliness and more outgoing, creative side to her (that is, when I try...which is usually in public in front of other friends). Her ASC in my Tenth house...I dunno about that one.

Many of my friends have personal planets conjunct, square, or trine my Ascendant. One of my best friends in particular has her Mars exactly conjunct my Ascendant.

I've also had the asc/desc conjunction, along with his mars and psyche loosely conjunct my Asc/closely conjunct my eros. We also had a DW of chart ruler conj desc ruler (my uranus conj his sun; his uranus conj my sun). I can just say it was a very karmic meeting; as we met and had a relationship in very unusual circumstances. Looking back on it, I still think it's incredible we even met at all. Once we met we really couldn't ignore each other. We got each other really well at first but it didn't work in the long run as our personal planets were not that compatible. But I learned what I had to from him and am glad for that.

With my crush right now I have his Eros conj my Asc . . . soooo hard to ignore this one lol.
