Anderson Silva, the greatest overall fighter in the history of mankind, having won more mma bouts than anyone else in a sport with the least amount of "warring rules" has mars in pisces...therefore, mars in pisces research in the past...has to be wrong, or misinformed....this is not only an exception, the best tennis players, and best golfers also have mars in pisces....and several other martial arts masters. love mma but it's a sport for kickouts from nfl, wrestling, the olympics. vitor belfort who i know was front kicked to the face by silva does not have fast enough hands for pro boxing and he holds records there for fastest knockouts! jon jones is what? a collegiate wrestler with just natural genetics and he zoomed thru the light heavy weight division! gsp doesn't even qualify for the canadian olympic team! these guys would be cops or p.e. coaches if there was no mma not real pro athletes.. That's interesting.. I thought it may be because it has progressed into Aries, but no. Actually his sun and mars are both progressed at 0* right now.. I did notice that his mars is parallel Uranus and Pluto (loosely) though. IP: Logged |

A little off topic, but is Pisces really so peaceful and wishy-washy? I see Pisces as flat-out SMART. They are intuitive and make good fighters because they *read your mind* and know what's coming next. Really, my Pisces sun-Mercury best friend is by far the toughest woman I know. IP: Logged |

double sag! sags make good athletes. my vote actually goes to mars in sag (manny pacquiao) and also an earth sun (cap, taurus) because the boxing legends had it. umm.. ali? g.o.a.t.? and they have the perseverance to train daily. IP: Logged |

I'm glad we're all reconsidering things now about mars in Pisces and athletics...yes it seems they can read minds... I have mars trine pluto 0 degrees...I don't know what it means, but i've always been the toughest in my age group.

Yes I have a mars in Pisces and am fiercely competitive and into sports; I've hated this stereotype that we are weak and passive, horrible athletes. Your mars can be modified easily by house placement and aspects. What kind of aspects does Anderson Silva have?As for tennis players, I know Bjorn Borg, one of the greatest players of all time (pity he retired so early), had mars in pisces, too. He was known for being an incredible fighter. His Mars is in the first, like mine. It opposes Jupiter & Pluto, squares Saturn & Mercury. Lleyton Hewitt, a former world number one, also known for being an incredible fighter. His Mars is in the fifth and makes a wide conjunction with his Sun. We make good athletes just as much as the next Mars. IP: Logged |

What aspects do the mars make that could modify the picses mars in this particular fighter? Good aspect i have noticed for a fighter are( using hard aspects): mars/ Pluto; mars/ Uranus; mars/sun and pluto/sun. Also strong Scorpio and sagittarius placements are apparent. I have also noticed a connection between mars and the NN.IP: Logged |

My sister has Mars in Pisces (29°) and she puts my Mars in Scoprio to shame! She always fights back and is way more aggressive than I am.Her Mars is very afflicted though, squares ASC, Uranus, Saturn, widely squares Neptune and Chiron, and opposes Venus. So.. not all Mars in Pisces folks are passive and wishy-washy, don't be fooled! Aspects are definitely crucial here.
Edit: Her Mars is sextile Jupiter, also.. what a busy Mars she has

I definitely don't think that a predominantly Neptunian individual has the capacity to be formidable and aggressive. However, i know many boxers down at my gym who have pisces suns( with harsh pluto and mars aspects) who are very good fighters; this goes the same for pisces in mars individuals enhanced with the respective planets. So I agree that aspects really make a difference on this particular placement. Mars in Pisces (12H)I've played sports since I can walk - I'm naturally a defensive *team* player. Field hockey, lacrosse and basketball - those were the days! Tennis doubles was also the most fun I had. In college I was captain of a sorority football team (don't underestimate catty sorority girls!)... after college I was on a intramural football team. Now I steer more towards the gym & tennis but just last week I beat my brother in basketball - I haven't played hoops in about 10 years, no joke! Don't mess with me athletically. That being said - WINNING wasn't my objective. I'm competitive against myself, but I don't care so much about the Win like others do. We could lose a heartbreaker but if I knew I played my best, I was just fine. Being #1 isn't my priority, I don't like attention. ------------------ Aqua Sun Gem Moon Aries RIsing IP: Logged |

Dolphins (yup smart), even though they're not fish, are probably under the rule of Pisces/Neptune. Yep there are many different kinds of fish. Sharks are fish too. Pisces adapts to the environment. (e.g. Kurt Cobain)
