Sorry. I go on hiatus fairly often. I'm pretty sure my divorce was connected to my Saturn's return because my Saturn is in Libra. Either Saturn solidifies strong relationships or he breaks up ones that are flimsy. When T Saturn crossed my natal Saturn exact, I had gotten confirmation that my divorce was finalized. I felt like the hardest part was "over" but it was a feeling of a point of no return. IP: Logged |

Hey, I knew that I remembered seeing something about stationary planets directing more energy and I finally found the reference. Bernadette Brady's "The Eagle And The Lark." quote: Progressed planets can also change their direction during the course of a lifetime. They can move from direct to retrograde or retrograde to direct. Each time a planet changes direction it goes through a period of being stationary. A stationary planet in astrology implies a great emphasis on that planet. So a progressed planet can become stationary, thereby directing acute, stressed planetary energy into your life.
Now this is on progressed planets but the interesting thing is, it talks about the acute energy from the station. So it makes sense that you would feel that energy all the time since your Pluto is stationary in the natal chart. I personally don't have any stationary natal planets but my progressed Mercury is stationary retrograde right now and it will be going retrograde at the end of this year. This is what it says about that: quote: When Mercury turns retrograde it does so for 19-to-24 days. So, if you are born with a retrograde Mercury, then sometime between birth and age 24, Mercury will turn direct. The year that this event occurs marks the change in your life with regard to your communication skills. If progressed Mercury turns retrograde, then it will be so for 19 to 24 years. The turning from direct to retrograde marks a time of greater inner communication. There is greater thinking or planning with less expression, or more carefully-measured expression.
This is what it says about slower moving planets: quote: Jupiter will stay retrograde for about 4 months, Saturn, 4Vi months retrograde, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, 5-to-6 months retrograde. All of these planets, therefore, may or may not change direction during the course of a person's life. However, if they do change direction, then it can make a lasting impression, where the energy of the planet becomes very strong and almost “possessive.” Joan of Arc with her Jupiter turning retrograde at the age of 14 is a good example of this. Jupiter, if strong, yields an obsessive, unstoppable, totally-consumed-by-an-idea type of individual. For Leonardo, Neptune turned direct in 1501 and the drive in him, in this last period of his life, was to find the wholeness of his life: a connection between machines, energy and life— the unified field theory. This was Neptune with its entropic— all energy and things being the same— overtones, manifesting through his great mind. Henry Kissinger's retrograde Saturn in Libra, changed its direction when he was 20 years old. He became a naturalized United States citizen in that year and spent the rest of his life working hard— via the Saturn in Libra energy— to keep the balance— the most predominant feature of his life. Not all cases will be as clear as the above examples, but it does pay to be aware of these slow-movers and their potential to change direction.
I hope this helps! IP: Logged |
