I've been reading about the cheating aspects and I have to agree with a lot of what I've seen, at least regarding harsh aspects from venus to mars and uranus. Now, I'm curious to know everyones opinions on what aspects would point to someone being unlucky in relationships. You know, that one person that always dates the wrong guy or girl or ends up getting cheated on by a significant other. The aspects that point to heartbreak, I guess.IP: Logged |

I don't even want to know! I guess Saturn in the 7th would be hard? I've suffered a lot of heartache; I have a t-square with the moon, Venus/Neptune conjunction, and Mars. That might be two t-squares actually... Anyway I think it just made me stronger and more determined to find a spiritual path to love, to transcend pettiness if I can, when I can. IP: Logged |

Interesting, I have hard aspects between my moon and venus, neptune and my ascendent - What about saturn in the 5th house? IP: Logged |

Well, I think I'm lucky in that I've never gotten cheated on (to my knowledge) but I can't say that I feel lucky in love per se. I have always attributed that to my Neptune in the 7th. Plus the ruler of my 7th house is in the 12th. And the ruler of my 5th house (Mercury) is opposite Neptune. There's a lot of issues surrounding communication and reality vs illusion (among other things). I'm sure that there are more conventional aspects that are considered not so "lucky" however I think it depends on how those challenging aspects work with another person's chart. And what you consider "unlucky". If something repeats over the course of time and that repeating element feels negative then that could be construed as being unlucky. Personally, I find it unlucky that men are so wavy-gravy when it comes to commitments with me. But maybe if I stopped entering into relationships with men who have Neptune conjunct their Ascendant (which is inevitably in Sagittarius) *every* time then perhaps I'd have a fighting chance IP: Logged |

Too funny! My current bf is a sag with early sag rising (I have sag rising, too - in fact our ascendents are almost identical. He too has neptune conjunct ascendent. I have neptune square ascendent.IP: Logged |

Hmmm...I just remembered my husband has this. quote: Saturn in the fifth house indicates fear and inhibition with regard to being spontaneous, creative and romantic. Until the fear is confronted and dealt with the negative aspects of Saturn are likely to prevail, which include creative blocks, inhibition in initial romantic encounters, and an inability to enjoy the flow of events without destroying the spontaneity with too much planning.
http://astrologynotes.org/wiki/Saturn_in_the_fifth_house Well THAT explains a lot! Actually I think he is pretty romantic! He does crazy stuff like trying to get me to go for long walks with him in the middle of the night, to see the stars. He didn't get married until later though; 'thought he would be a bachelor forever. My Venus/Neptune is exactly conjunct his Saturn- that helped. Is this you with 5H Saturn? If so, best wishes! Worse - 5th saturn retrograde. It's safe to say that I have body image issues, lol. I think the placement has made me particular about partners. Also I was not the type to "hook up" when I was younger - no one night stands (ever). As for romance, I eat, sleep and breathe the stuff so I don't think the placement affects it. The fact that your guy wants to take you for late night walks to see the stars is the sweetest thing I have ever heard!!! IP: Logged |

I have Saturn conjunct Uranus conjunct my DSC and square my Venus. I also have Neptune in the 7th. While I feel like I've experienced my fair share of heartbreak, doesn't everyone? I've also had wonderful experiences. What is love without pain? I've been lucky enough to find a soulmate or two as well. The best romances IMO are journeys. IP: Logged |

Aww! Well good luck! Yeah I tell people my husband did that and they think it's so sweet. Meanwhile I was like, "Are you kidding me? Can't you tell I'm dead asleep?" Or he wants me to go out and freeze with him so we can see if the Northern Lights come up. They did once but how many times do I have to freeze waiting for another round of it?

I've had quite a lot of heartache and rejection issues. Up until a certain point, my personal life was simply nonexistent. I don't want to go into detail because I feel pretty embarrassed about this particular issue. I blame peer pressure, crazy societal expectations and my reserved nature. My chart IP: Logged |

We still do that, but in her car with the top down, and she drives because I'm too sleepy for that lol

Choc, I might be reading your chart wrong (still learning) but I think I see venus in the 8th (although resting on Gemini) opposite saturn. I wonder if that plays into anything? Maybe pluto in the first?IP: Logged |

My Venus is in the very end of the 8th H and I feel it can also be interpreted in the 9th too. Also, it opposes Uranus and conjuncts Chiron. IP: Logged |

Bingo. Pretty sure Chiron has something to do with "unluck" in the love department. Placed in the 7th, or 5th, in connection to Venus or Mars, or the rulers of the 5th, 7th. Could be many things. Could apply to Saturn as well. IP: Logged |
