In terms of the whole hair thing. I don't know what my exact thought processes were. It was impulsive. I was up late watching Rebel Without a Cause. I was no doubt thinking about how society expects me to behave or look and how that in no way is an accurate reflection of myself. (Or some ******** along those lines.) I am aware that I look more pleasing to the eye with long hair. I have a love/hate relationship with femininity/beauty/appearance or basically the physical representation of myself. I am obsessed with accurately representing myself. And sometimes it can lead to identity issues. I also enjoy knowing I can look very different. (But my ego likes to remind people that if I wanted to I could look okay and I'm ashamed of that. ) There was probably an element of punishment or at least denial that I enjoyed. Interesting (could be related to your 12'h Sun) - an antisocial perspective, which means you spent some time in seclusion to realize this things about the world we live in, about society - about yourself. And I'm not judging you - just looking in the mirror, talking from my own experience... because i can relate with what you said, I've been where you are and at one point in life - you'll have to understand that the ego is part of you - it represents you in this society... if you deny it - you're trying to be... trying to see yourself as someone who's not part of this world (sun/Neptune 12'th house related)... "yet - you are..." right now...

I'd like to recommend you "Out of Your Mind - by Alan Watts (the audio CD)" ...you might like him - a lot... his teaching could help you - and again, I'm not judging you - not saying that there something wrong with you (on the contrary...) - it's just that - when i was a mirror of you, i found him by accident and opened my about some things i couldn't see being to concentrated, to obsess with what's wrong with the world around me - with society... and me. It's not like it solved the puzzle of my life ... i "have to live it... to experience it..." till i get to that point - but was a push in the right direction...
