Is there anyone here who can "feel" the energy of their composite chart manifesting as much as or even more than the energy of their synastric chart in their relationship?IP: Logged |

Yes and no. The Composite describes something different than synastry. Synastry is the energies between two people... kind of like a tension rod connecting them. A Composite describes how the people act as one unit, how they behave as a merged entity. The Composite describes the body, synastry describes how the organs in the body interact.I do think that the Composite ultimately overrides synastry in terms of whether the relationship will "work" or not. But synastry aspects are still felt. For instance, my boyfriend's Saturn is closely conjunct my Mars. I think he's like a dad always lecturing me, but our composite has a Sun-Venus conjunction so overall our relationship is an affectionate one. IP: Logged |

I say, YES, absolutely, simply by how the relationship is affecting the people interacting with the couple. Sometimes the couple's combined energy can create divisiveness among other's, and sometimes their combined energy creates peace and calm. It's interesting because a couple could get into arguments with each other if their combined energy affects other's negatively. Even if the Synastry is good, if the Composite is really bad, they'll break up. Also, people around the couple could've been saying from the beginning things like, I don't think that person is good for you, etc. Or the couple may become defiant over the criticism and cling together even more. Sometimes the couple will come up with their own ancillary interpretation of why so-and-so doesn't approve of them, which might have more to do with their "projection" or paranoia. That's why astrology can be so helpful, oftentimes the explanation is right there, and you'll feel like it wasn't altogether your imagination, although the actual reasons on your part might differ slightly from the astro interpretation. ------------------ . . We're not human beings having a spiritual experience. We're spiritual beings having a human experience. IP: Logged |

Synastry shows how one person influence the other person. Synastry shows their feelings. Composite shows the actual state of the relationship and how the two of them will act when they are together.

Both synastry and composite energies are felt in my opinion. The synastry shows the tendencies between 2 people and how they affect one another. But whether they will get along in the long run and how interacting with each other will play out, the composite chart will dictate it. I also noticed that there seems to be a lack of sun-pluto, moon-pluto and venus-pluto aspects in the composite charts of me and my friends, as compared to the composite charts of me and the people that i'm strongly attracted to. In their case, there is always pluto aspects between the sun, moon, and venus. Sometimes there is a venus-uranus aspect too.IP: Logged |

I don't understand composite charts, honestly. I've looked at mine with my boyfriend who I've been dating for over a year now, and looking at the composite made me think the relationship would be very subservient as in one serves the other, since there is a Sun-Moon opposition between the 6 and 12 H. Yet I don't really notice this at all, it is a very egalitarian relationship. IP: Logged |

I really had to think about this one, with my own personal experience.. With fishy I have a mediocre synastry, some very nice aspects... But we have a very intense composite.. I feel the composite way more than the synastry... So with that I would say I personally feel the composite.. But at the same time The synastry is still there, and I dont want to discount that.. For me the best way to but it into words is I feel the composite very very deeply.. The composite is "how" we are together and what the relationship is about.. The synastry has been more, our personal actions how we handle the energy in the composite as individuals... For me the composite has been what I feel the synastry has been the actions... But we are all different.. Each relationship is also different.. Thats my 2 cents IP: Logged |

I did a composite chart for myself and someone from a long time ago. When we were running in circles I only looked at the synastry chart, which did not explain why I felt such a strong pull towards him. A few days ago I looked at our composite chart and had a "son of a b*tch" moment. We have/had Sun and Mercury conjunct Pluto with Moon square Pluto. At parties, we would start off on opposite sides of the room and soon found each other if not to at least be near each other, but stare at each other. It was pretty hard to talk to each other after a while and the ending of it felt as if it were worse than dying. It took me a year to get over him.IP: Logged |
