EXCELLENT topic.

I had taken the Meyers Briggs administered by one of their own and had come up with INTP (Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Perceiving.)

Astrologically that matches with only Gemini. But my Asc. is Taurus and I identify with Taurus quite a bit (loaded 1H) which is ISTJ.

I am a Gem Sun, merc, venus, Libra ASC and Cancer moon. I think I have this one. I have most of my planets in the upper half of the chart which would be the extroverted side of the pie, if you cut it in half.

Does yours work that way? Most planets in the lower half of the chart is introverted and upper is extroverted?

Hmm ... Really? K I'll concede that I LOVE words and reasoning skills. BUT ... do you see how I love saying LOVE a lot of the time? In CAPITALS too! . I feel my entire approach to life has to do with Venus (one way or another). Taurus Venus tho, because my approach is so very grounded.

Besides, I don't have the Gemini flightiness, impatience, quick irritability,
leaving things unfinished, and the general duality sometimes associated with this sign. Quite the opposite actually. Not trying to say that all Geminis are like that so no offense meant please. These are just some of the qualities sometimes associated with Gemini. And I'm just trying to figure this out about my own chart

But maybe I should take the online test and see what I come up with, eh?

Of one thing I'm sure (well two things)- my chart is overwhelmingly earth, and overwhelmingly feminine. And these two things I completely relate to.

About you being geminian or not. You are happy-go-lucky, very enthusiastic, accomodating, and your posts are usually lengthy and/or make slight use of clever wit. You seem high energy from your posts, too. Don't know if you are or not in real life. I know lots of geminis who are actually quite organized, believe it or not, as well as driven and ambitious.

I think the whole poised, driven, ambitious description really suits you

You might think I'm totally crazy for saying this, but I think those other elaborate tests overcomplicate things. Though this one may be a bit TOO simple. It should have a few more questions. But I like it because it actually seems more accurate to me than the long ones.

And you are very perceptive! Yes I am quite high energy in real life too, physically as well as mentally (for all my Taurus energy). The happy-go-lucky part is from Jupiter/Sun aspect.

K, so lets see if we can settle this -

According to the detailed Meyers Briggs I took, AND your perception, I am INTP which matches Gemini (Sun).

According to this online blog thingy short test you suggested, I am ISTJ which matches Taurus (Asc).

So I'm either a Gemini with a Taurus twist (hmm ...) or a Taurus with a Gemini twist (like this one better 'cause Taurus is quite dominant in my chart). That makes me a flexible Venusian. I think I like the sound of that.
