An update on my son and the lack of progress with his school:I contacted the 504/IEP coordinator for my son's school, explained we now have a diagnosis and are requesting a 504 meeting. The coordinator seemed to be understanding and promptly set up a meeting to take place next week. Today I received a call from the coordinator, informing me the meeting is off until further notice. The special education director is requesting that my son be assessed by the school again, dismissing our private diagnosis. This director has been a really bully, during the last IEP meeting he questioned if we could afford a second assesstment, inquring if we have health insurance. I am dreading dealing with this man again, and am gearing up with our advocate and therapist. This whole experience has been very tiring and frustrating, it baffles my mind that the school's approach is that I am being a pest for the sake of being one. All I want is help for my son to succeed, this whole process isn't any fun at all and can not imagine why they'd think anyone would go through all of this just for kicks. IP: Logged |

My friend has thought hes autistic from a young age and iv always told him he's not, and after being mates with him for a long time i started wondering if i was anywhere on the spectrum, iv always had alien looking fingers and toes and its made me think. Getting into astrology i came up with a massive drug-induced theory that autism is really the human species evolving cosmicly into the aquarian age, turns out my friend is an aquarius moon and my moon is conjunct uranus. Uranus rules electricity (robotics, eccentricity, randomness, shocks, being futuristic, technology, spirituality, and humanity, all things that are connected with the very recent and 'rapid' increase of autism rates, is it so so coincidental, or,are we undergoing a transformation of our cosmic dna and being? What do you think?------------------

Brad Pitt + Angelina Jolie both have the look.
I share a very similar chart to Brad Pitt and i have the Nose-Ears that gives off the 'autism/aquarius' look, they both share very similar featuresIP: Logged |

I have never been diagnosed but I consider myself to be high functioning aspergers. I fit the description. My parents took me to the doctor to figure out why I was so quiet and wouldn't talk when I was 3, a year before doctors started diagnosing people with aspergers here in America. So I missed the diagnosis by a year I think. I have moon in aqua in the 12th house. I also have mercury square mars and have such a difficult time expressing myself. Its difficult for me to articulate things even though I very clearly know how I FEEL. I think that American culture doesn't place much emphasis on nonverbal communication though. In some cultures aspergers traits would be valued. Thats just my opinion, don't want to offend anybody.IP: Logged |
