Hi guys  I've just started dating a Leo man, I really like him and so I was wondering if you could share your experiences with Leo men and tell me what your sign is Also if you had a Leo father or brother, or friend, please tell me what they were like in a relationship. As a Scorpio, I find this Leo is proud but in a cute way. He has gemini moon though, I hope that doesn't mean he's shallow  IP: Logged |

Leo men are really important to me, in fact my Dad happens to be a Leo sun with Gemini Moon and I'm also a Leo sun. Leo rules my 8th H, so I sometimes have power struggles with them tho and I've also dated a couple of Leos as well. In fact I'm still infatuated with one. But if you can make them laugh they'll love you! And if they start to loose interest just move on. A Leo either likes you or not. It's quite obvious. IP: Logged |

most of the time will be self absorbed, or maybe it is just their way to show off self-confidence. Sometimes, they have too much pride in ones self that they wont admit that they are wrong (always like winning, being number 1, being the best, etc.), I'm not trying to sound harsh but I noticed that most are also egoistic or self-centered, enjoys the spot light. They love it when you stroke their ego, throw some praises here and there, yup..they'll love it. Will do anything to win, which is sometimes good because it just shows that everything they do is very important to them. Sometimes, they won't acknowledge what others have done/contributed and pretend/say everything was all because of their hard work. Likes pretty things and buy a lot of nice things to their loved ones (that's why I often feel like I'm such a materialistic girl, haha)Uhm..that's all I can think of..my dad is one but we don't get along, lol..I'm a virgo btw xDIP: Logged |

Gentlemanly and caring - in a nutshell!  Rarely I'll meet a Leo I don't click with. Usually it's due to Virgo Mercury - which seems detached.. and not emotionally expressive enough for my liking. But I love most Leos.
Three of the ones I know have a Gemini Moon. They are not at all shallow.. just funny & intellectual..
It's easy to have a long term relationship with them - if you have a good mental connection.. (check your Mercuries in synastry!). I'm Aries/Cap/Cancer.. IP: Logged |

About - throwing praises around... I actually find Leos very praise worthy - so I feel like showering them in praise, quite naturally. It's very easy for me to compliment them, since they have many qualities I admire. They *do* like real praise... but not false - 'sucking up'. IP: Logged |

Enchantress, I don't know I've encountered plenty of other signs that were by far more self centered than a Leo like Taurus for example. Although some of the things you mentioned were spot on especially the part about not admitting they are wrong.IP: Logged |

Well this is timely. I've been spending a lot of time online (I'm a gamer) with a fellow who is very Leo (sun in Leo and several planets in Leo too) but with a Gemini moon. Actually I find him just thrilling and wonderful on the one hand and totally contrary and fickle on the other (which I assume is the Gemini moon.) He gives me all these come-ons (which being a Virgo, I take with a grain of salt and don't respond to as warmly as he'd like although I do have Venus and Mars in Leo so I do like it in a way. lol) One day he will be telling me how much he likes me and how special I am and he's gone so far as to say "you're with me now" (yes over the top with the stuff he says!) and the next day if I say anything that he thinks is indicating too much closeness I get something totally contrary like "Missy, we're not in a relationship." I called him on the back and forth, push-pull thing and he admitted it's been a long-term problem with women and that he constantly pushes and pulls and can't seem to stop himself. He went so far as to say that he confuses a lot of women and that "Yes, I know I'm bipolar." (Which I assume he just means the moodiness and push-pull thing.) I also find he can be quite mean/rude and moody at times with his comments (which I think is a combo of both the Leo and Gemini.) But then the interesting thing is that I don't have to say much and he feels bad and will say something about it later... Like the other night, we were together in game and I mentioned another player I had had a problem with and he said "I don't like it when other people are rude to you and that includes myself. I don't like it when I'm rude to you but I can't seem to stop it sometimes, it's like a disease. That's why I leave and log off because I don't want to be rude to you." So it's a very interesting and kind of weird friendship we have going on. <sigh> Listen, send me a private message, I think you and I should compare notes and keep in touch because this man is driving me crazy. lol P.S. I'm getting the feeling that he gets turned on by arguments. The other night he actually got mad at me for NOT bitching at him about something (instead I was just quietly doing my own thing and not giving him any attention.) He got all pissy about me not expressing my discontent lol and then logged off and stayed off the following night. I will tell you that Gemini moons NEED to communicate absolutely. That much I know. I am: Libra Sun, Leo Moon, Virgo Asc, my South Node Leo.I love Leo Suns. It's easy with them, they understand me, i understand them! Their Leo nature kinda resonates with my Leo Moon and I become more open, more outgoing and love to take risk more. Maybe that really is because of my Leo moon - I emotionally understand their nature, their ego's. Actually as i count now, many of my friends are Leos! Even my dad was one. I think i attract Leo people, that's cool. Although i've read that Libras don't get well with Leos, my experience is disapproving it. IP: Logged |

I actually read that Libras are excellent for Leos! And ya, your Leo moon would make you feel very at home with them I would think. I also love Leos but just find them a very different experience since I have had very little contact with any. But I have Mars and Venus both in Leo so I really respond to their energy. IP: Logged |

No it's Leo too lol. Leo is fickle. They are hot and cold. They love the chase, they're fire and they like to keep burning, yearning for the one they love. quote:

I find with Leo men you have to be a very skilled manipulator. Very skilled. No, manipulation isn't always a bad thing but they're really smart and they can argue very well. You kind of have to be the one who smiles and says "Okay darling," and then maneuver your way about to get what you need. Libras are a very good match for Leos and I think it's partly for that reason. quote:

Leo men, omg they are everywhere in my life. My first real relationship was a Leo man and I can say he is the most driven and successful guy I've ever met. Very charismatic and what a charmer... he was in a slump when I met him and super moody but still, personable. They need to be active, motivated, inspired, successful in order to be fulfilled. And busy! The guy I know travels for work, travels for leisure, concerts, food, fitness... you name it, the guy is truly well rounded. Reallyyyy vane and kinda superficial...pretty arrogant and cocky. He loved when I pointed out other girls checking him out or if a guy flirted with me and he could show possession. And he lovedddd when I dressed up. A real show-off. My father is a Leo as is a former boss - both I have great relationships with. They are older (70s) but what you would call the quintessential "ladies man". Even my dad, though happily married, is such a charmer he doesn't even realize when he's flirting! But they are natural salesman, both of them do a ton of work by phone and really invest in relationships...even clients or customers... and both have various interests. Always looking for the next mountain to climb so to speak. Again, both my dad and former boss are into "looks" and like attractive people, also take care of their own appearances. My best friends dad is a Leo and shockingly enough, what I know of him, he fits the above description. Worked in public service his whole life and we all call him "Mr. Mayor" b/c he knows everyone in town. A slight womanizer as well. LOL ------------------

I like Leo Sun/Venus/Mars/M0on men. Leo asc guys kind of ann0y me. They kn0w how to have a go0d time, are very easy to talk to about everything and anything and are generous with their time, m0ney and c0mpliments. You shouldn't say/do anything that could embarass them or hurt their ego. But they forgive easily so it's okay. S0metimes, you have to apologize. But if they love you en0ugh, they'll c0me to you. They pay attenti0n to your appearance, like people who s0mehow stand out and they all think(and say it out loud too)that they lo0k go0d. The one's I kn0w are very touchy feely, try hard to get your attenti0n when you don't feed their ego and like expensive/beautiful things. I'm not sure if it's just my people but they all like animal prints. Asc guy 1 would talk to you only if you made the 1st m0ve. Asc guy 2 would talk to you even if you didn't pay attenti0n to him. Both are big time players and c0ncentrate a lot on their hair. The rest are loyal. My dad's a leo mars, uranus and IC and he's a very proud father. He has an explanation to all wrong things I do and loves to boast about my achievements(and his own) to every t0m, dick and harry. He's bad tempered to0 and gets into mess with authorities because of his say-it-like-it-is and I-am-never-wr0ng attitude. He's a 1h gem sun/merc social butterfly. My m0m says he was hard to pin down but according to him, he always wanted to marry her. I believe his versi0n.

He's just so intelligent and dynamic and such a leader that I don't even mind the ego so much and I don't mind stroking it for him. lol It is kind of ironic what you said about getting your way because although I don't feel that's what I do with him, he's basically said that I do. "Ya, you're just letting me feel like I have control but you're the one who's getting your way" kind of comments from him. Honestly, I am a triple earth (virgo sun, cap asc and moon in taurus with venus and mars in leo) and so i am usually pleasant and cheerful and don't like to fight. I am more often quiet when he upsets me. He seems to think that I'm getting my way with him even though I don't fight him hardly ever. lol Although one night I did tell him off after he hurt me with some mean comments and the weird thing is he totally flew off the handle and went offline but then started texting me that he was a terrible person and hoped I would at least have good memories of him and bye forever type of thing (very dramatic.) Then a very long, dramatic convo by text in which he seemed to be in his glory and was more into me then ever. I think it turned him on. This guy just makes my virgo head spin. lol But I do adore him and the thought of losing his companionship makes me quite sad. I do think the moon in gemini is a real problem though. He has the Leo thing and Descendant in Libra so he loves love it seems but the moon in gemini keeps making him want to detach and disconnect and he doesn't want to talk about his feelings. Instead he wants me to talk about how he makes me feel. <sigh> Once in awhile he'll tell me something like he thinks I am very special and that he is trying to adjust himself for me because he thinks I'm worth it. I forgot to add - They are very emotionally stable being a fixed sign - which can be a breath of fresh air - if you have dated mutable men in the past.They have a way of making a woman feel completely loved and safe in their arms.. and they are never going anywhere, if they truly care about you. The one thing I notice (which granted is my fault) but try not to mistake the leo charm for "im head over heals for you"
It really takes a lot and a long time for me to really truly fall for someone.. Even though I genuinely like that person, Im not in love.. Which sometimes my ways get confused for love, which just isnt the case....

i find my leo man to be very high maintainence; he needs TONS of affection/praise/priority, is easily upset by perceived slights/people who ignore him/making fun of him, VERY PROUD! - he will not admit when he is wrong - ever - even when he clearly is, he wants to be pursued and fawned over, loved to get gifts, thrives on compliments. very easy to win over if you just keep the compliments coming and continue to say 'you're the best' - even when they are not. i lie to my leo man a lot about his wonderfulness, but he doesn't know and it keeps him happy to hear it so i just do it. in return i get a romantic bf, and someone who treats me right. although i do find they have a tendency to neglect their significant others a lot because they want so much attention on themselves they don't return the affection/attention they getIP: Logged |

Yeah I got that too. After we started talking again. He told me:
"I tried hard to stay away from you. The more I try the more I remember you. My dad bought a house to fix up and I kept thinking about you. I kept thinking about us getting our own place and fixing it up. I know that we can be really happy with each other. I love you." Next night, when I asked about a girl he was talking to, and he didn't want to tell me about her. "I didn't know we were in a relationship for me to tell you those kinds of things. Sorry, girl. Goodnight." I find it rude and unappreciative. A HUGE TURN OFF.

Yeah, when we'd fight he'd have a heart attack almost. He'd freak out. Then when he's cooled down, he'd apologize and talk about it. Eventually I got tired of repeating myself for similar situations, so I stopped fighting or I would ignore those aspects altogether. He would then ask me if something was wrong and why I was acting blah etc. Then....he'd eventually get it out of me and get ****** that I was keeping it to myself!! UGH! IP: Logged |
