Topic: Sun conjunct South node - have i met you before?

So again it's with me. I'm kinda getting even more excited about that. When do nodal contacts in synastry start to come to people? It's interesting, though - i've met so many people with whom i have strong nodal contacts with - and that's the time in my life i feel really confused about my life and all. And the question then - what does Sun conjuncting South node in 0 degrees 13 minutes imply? I HAVE read what it does theoretically say, but from real life? What does both of the persons feel? (His sun, my node)

Hello Aeline! Welcome to LL  The Sun and South Node conjunction is a Karmic Aspect and shows a past life connection.
Much depends on the sign and house of the conjunction. Have you read anything by Martin Schulman?

I've never met one as of yet. However, I'm really interested in this topic. You mentioned you met someone. How did you feel? I remember when I was in early 20s, I met this girl who had her sun conjunt my North Node. It was love at first sight, but I ran away, simply because I was afraid for some reason. I wanted a relationship bad, but I ran away. This is one of the weirdest romantic experience I had in my life. IP: Logged |

Hey! No, i haven't read him yet, but I'll definetely do it ! Thanks for the information!  As for what i feel when i meet these people - it's really weird. I guess it's somehow different from NN contacts, cause SN shows past life connections, but NN leads you to your future.. but anyway, familiarity - with this Sun SN contact - you feel you can talk about anything, even about things you haven't talked about in years. But we also have several double whammies, so they could also contribute to the feeling. IP: Logged |

Oh, I've had this one. twice. Their Sun, my SN. The attraction is uncanny, instant, v familiar but also you sort of know (or at least I did) that it is not that good/right for you. Not that I was comfortable admitting that! In my case, with both of them, there were obstacles. Both were long distance relationships. Once we passed them and had a chance for a normal relationship, it faded out. We had a bit of Uranian interaction too. In my experience with Nodal aspects, the Node person outgrows the relationship eventually, depending on their level of maturity and self-awareness. I agree with those that say ppl conjuncting your SN are dragging you down. That is how I felt. It felt familiar and comfortable but also draining and stuck and unhappy. I eventually moved on, but not without a great deal of drama (Nodal aspects are very dramatic and intense because of the fated element, you feel like you were meant to be.. ). IP: Logged |

Well, my SN is really packed around - conjunction with Moon, Jupiter, Selena and Eros. Wider orbs, though, but still, i feel them. And somehow people conjuncting any of these objects simultenaously conjunct other ones either. I guess that makes the sense of fatedness even higher.But this Sun - SN contact is in a friendship, not a romantic one.
Does the Sun person also feel the bond? Anyone?

My 1st crush's Sun/Venus/Mars were c0nj my Sn0de in my 4th. We were friends for about a year. I developed a crush on him. Learnt my first swear word fr0m him and yes, that was it. We parted ways. Crush dissolved. The end. My l0ng term friend's Sun conjs my sn0de. She's the only pers0n I 've kept in touch with for 9 l0ng years. I ask mostly because with the guy with whom i have Moon - SN exact conjunction (well including my Eros), I feel the bond very much! Though i don't know how it would be with the Sun.IP: Logged |

Yes. Initially the SN person feels the attraction and fatedness because it is a distinct feeling of familiarity with the planet person. The planet person is slower to react, but after they do, they are hooked. It is said that the planet person has karmic debt with the Node person. They don't always want to face up to that, though. In friendship is a bit different, but I still think the Node person outgrows the connection even though he/she may not break it per se. IP: Logged |

Well, who would outgrow who if the placements of the nodes are like this:His Sun my SN (0 degrees)
His SN my Moon (i usually don't count SN conjunctions by 5 degrees, but thought this one would make sense because of the first one, though)
His SN my Eros
His SN my Selena (0 degrees)
His SN my Jupiter
His SN my Lucifer
His NN trine my MC (0degrees)
His SN septile my Sun (0degrees)
His SN sentagon my Pluto (0degrees)
His SN trine my Lilith (0degrees)
His SN trine my IC (0degrees)
His Pluto sentagon my SN (0degrees)
His Prozerpina square both my Nodes
So I counted 13 node contacts, lol.
Do all these other aspects even mean anything, i wonder? Or they would mean nothing if there were no major Nodes connections? Too much of them, i guess.

Lol, in this case having mutual conjunctions to SN the bond might be hard to break. I've had this too (I've had Node contacts in all my relationships). The minor aspects and the aspects to asteroids probably mean smth too but I am not an expert so would rather not say smth which might be wrong. IP: Logged |

Synchronicity, again..I have this with a young man I met a few weeks ago. His South Node conjuncts my Sun with a 0° orb. We felt instantly attracted to each other, and I did/do feel a sense of familiarity. He wants to be with me but I doubt my feelings towards him, at this point we see each other but it's a long distance relationship and he is older and I am not sure I am ready for something serious yet. So I can see how I'm holding him back.. which totally sucks cause I like him very much but somehow there is just something "complicated" about our connection. And we do have prominent Uranus and Neptune also which adds to the complexity/unstability. I am quite afraid of where this can go, reading from all the posts it seems inevitable that the South Node person "outgrows" the connection and wants to leave.. uh, and I'm not okay with that.. Anyway, to answer the OP's question, yes, the Sun person does feel the connection, at least I do; but in my case it makes me a bit scared. Even though it's the SN and not the NN.. maybe it's due to another aspect though.

I can totally attest to that. In my last two relationships I was the planet person and it was their south node. In both cases they spotted me first and felt a very strong reaction, something I could never understand. Because I didn't think I looked or behaved in any way special. I remember the day exactly. One time I had the flu, and felt quiet awful, the other time was a bla- kind of - day when I wasn't in the mood of meeting anyone new. Last discription fits to the day I met my current boyfriend and partner. When we were talking about our first meeting, he said he felt such a strong reaction when we shaked hands, like he never felt before. My sun conj his SN, which I thought isn't supposed to be romantic per de, right? I didn't get it at first... I thought he was nice, that was it.
