I think the opp is better because opp signs have more similar qualities than squared signs IP: Logged |

I forgot to mention my moon and venus Virgo moon/Pisces Venus. Want to know what I find funny? The last guy I was with was a Virgo venus and he laughed at me and looked at me crazy when I mentioned something about allowing oneself to fall in love with someone..well apparently virgo venuses rationalize their feelings just as much as a virgo moon does. So he was full of crap for laughing at me. IP: Logged |

Well yes, he was obviously feeling awkward because you was showing him a mirror of what he probably hates about himself... that's my interpretation. I, as a fellow Virgo Venus become bit annoyed when someone exhibits something I hate about me. So yeah, he was unconsciously showing self-irony lol. And I think I can admit in the behalf of us Virgo Venusians - most certainly, we think about love. Lots and lots. Although it's rationalized, we're still hopelessly romantic. IP: Logged |

Hey-o, I have the same placements as you and I totally hear you on the allowing yourself to fall in love. I have yet to do so, but I'm working on it. IP: Logged |

How conflicted do you think he would be with a cancer moon? Basically it would appear one part of him is telling him to think logically, but the other half wants to act on emotions..must be tough! lol IP: Logged |

It seems I allow myself to fall in love TOO easily..but then again..maybe it's not even love but LIKE too easily..now I'm over thinking it and wondering if I've ever really been in love at all haha IP: Logged |

That was my daily struggle for quite sometime. My moon is in leo, my venus is in scorpio. I enjoy fire girls spirit, but feel they are not deep enough. I enjoy water girls passions, but i don't feel comfortable with them. When i find and enjoy the lively flamboyant girl, i still crave for the femme fatale. When i find and enjoy the femme fatale, i still crave for the free and light spirit. Solution is to try to find your midpoint, and look for it in a venus or a sun. But right now, this is not an issue, since you have to compromise, and you can find someone who is a bit of both. I am seeing a gemini with cap moon, taurus venus and aries mars. Her combination is lively + sensual enough for my taste. IP: Logged |

I actually think that this combination would be quite harmonious. Sure, he would be very careful in getting close to someone, taking the initiative only after carefully observing and getting to know the person, very self-protective, but at the end he would strive towards a safe, calm and dependent relationship. I think it's actually a really good combo, because the signs form a sextile and both have very similar views on love: taking care of someone, nurturing, gentle and sublime gestures of love etc. Also the Cancer would balance up the rationality of Virgo IP: Logged |

Whoops just saw this! Oh I'm 100% with you on falling in "like" too easily - I am a venus in pisces after all. All you have to do is head boop a kitten and i'm yours. IP: Logged |

quote: Originally posted by sand: Moon square Venus: - The Moon represents our emotions and what makes us feel secure, while Venus represents how we give and receive love. When these planets are in square aspect to one another, our emotional needs are at odds with our needs and capacity to love. - For example, say I have Moon in Aries square Venus in Capricorn: on one hand, I am emotionally fulfilled by aggressive, direct, and passionate people. However, aggression and passion to not “agree” with my Venus in Capricorn nature; it is unattractive to me, as Venus in Capricorn prefers shy, stable, drama-free mates. - As a result, the native finds it difficult to find a partner who fulfills both their Moon and Venus needs, and might choose to have two partners: one who makes him emotionally secure, and one that makes him feel loved and attracted. - This can also indicate a Madonna-***** complex; the native may have the inability to see his or her partner as both a nurturing type (moon) and a sexual being (Venus). To solve this dilemma, the native may choose to take on two partners in order to have these needs fulfilled. ^i get this aspect now. Not exactly how it is laid out but i can see it. Moon in Leo square Venus in Taurus.
Huh interesting - i have venus in gemini square pisces moon , so i guess i find it hard to combine the brain and the heart? I want dreamy, romantic, passive partner but i like smart, logical, communicative one? Or are those my two personalities i can not balance out? I am communicative fun loving person but at the same time i am INTROVERTED anxious person - my wish to be among people is squished by my need to stay at home, be drama free, safe and secure, do something creative, escape everything
Looking back at guys i liked - they were all very fun, active, life of the party, desired by everyone guys THAT DONT NOTICE ME - those that do notice me are ugly for my standards and look cheap and not what i want - i know its weird thing to say lol i like men that look good and have perspective in life (ok maybe thats Virgo mars tho) i never liked these artistic types that barly ever have money and write songs (despite moon in pisces, i am the artist tho lol) i like guys that will be bosses, corporate types with dash of boyish charms, but smart and serious with both feet on the ground - but fun!

quote: Originally posted by sweet-scorpion: I think that this is the basics of this particular Moon-Venus square. The basic analysis is pretty spot-on for this particular square... Moon in Scorpio most likely is emotionally accustomed to Mom making and controlling major life choices and his security, Mom was an invasive and sometimes smothering presence but he grew habituated to it. Yet the lover that makes his heart pound is the aloof beauty or the relationship that involves aloof detachment/something Uranian, while his Moon acts out to emotional submersion and possessing each other being put aside and not important at all. At the same time, it's important to regard which houses they fall in, and the aspects that both planets are making besides this interaction. For example, if we have someone who also has Scorp Moon conjunct Pluto, in the 4th house, we're going to get an unnatural attachment/interaction with the mother that borderlines on obsessively and unnaturally controlling, which might impede the native's psychological health. So it's really important to also look at the aspects Moon and Venus in whatever signs for the square are making and where they are posited. What is it for you? I can give you a brief interpretation of what I think if you want!
WOW!! this describes my husband...he has a moon in scorpio sq venus in virgo his mom was running the show and was the boss- before he got married...since the marriage i m running the show lol..it is funny that he founf another dominant woman to marry but to get back to the point-i dont think it is a nice aspect as the 2 planets are not in harmony( imagine how beautiful it would have been it venus was trine the moon-ohh that would have been JUST LOVELY)...so there is discord here,in my experience this is some soft of a no-love received from mom..and just not a nice thing going on...granted they are both benefics so its not tragic, but still..

I am seeing someone with moon square Venus and he is very good looking yet I’m afraid he has something more going on with his roommate who is a female that seems to be not his type so I initially am not worried bc why would I worry about someone I knows not his type but now, knowing this aspect…I’m learning there may be more to the story (facepalm)IP: Logged |

I had an ex with a Moon-Venus square. He stopped having sex regularly within one year into the relationship, but he sure liked his porn. It was like as soon as there was commitment he saw me as a "pure angel" that could not fulfill his sexual desires. Virgo Venus didnt help either, he was too stiff and systematic, wanted to do the same things in bed. IP: Logged |
