It always ends up in a massive power struggle with the Scorpio and half of it is due to the fact that I feel like I can't crack them open and pull them apart to figure them out, or get inside their head, or they "shun" you if there is any perceived fear. And that and trying to assert myself and dominance over someone who is a member of a sign that is ALL about control and power (sorry, but it's just my nature to be the one who rules the roost) and secrecy. I don't have an issue with abandonment (never seen it in other Aries?) but I see it all the time with Scorpios. At least, all of the people I got tied up with had major walls built up.

So my personal experience with Aries-Scorpio relationships (as the Aries) is that. Power struggle, being a uneven playing field emotionally (I guess as for emotional maturity, and the emotional intensity/depth) and jealousy.

A lot of the typical crap mentioned on websites I also don't relate to.

That's what's happening in my friendship w/ a Scorpio girl. I'm burnt out about it, honestly. With her Cap moon and quadruple Scorpio placements I'm like "Hey eventually you have to take responsibility for YOUR choices and how they affect other people." which I notice she doesn't do with me. So now that I realize I've been an entertaining pawn to her for the last 7 years I'm kind of like "See ya."

Hmm, actually I think it's water signs and fire signs. Because a lot of people I know who express their feelings openly are usually Leo, Sagittarius, Pisces... of course, it depends on the Moon sign a lot more. My Cancer sun sister has a moon-saturn conjunction, she is good with pushing negative feelings completely away, it's been YEARS since I've seen her shed a single tear.
A lot of the time the moon sign is in either a water sign or fire sign. I think earth and air sign moons kind of rationalize their emotions or suck them up. And even then, you gotta consider aspects blah blah blah...

Sorry for going off topic.
I think Aries-Scorpio is a steamy match (classic water-fire combo), longevity is completely up to Moon signs, ASC and respective dominant elements. Personally my favorite astrological pairings are when the suns are inconjunct. There is mutual fascination, with one sign having to serve or teach the other (One is the 6th house while the other 8th house).

Its interesting how mars correlates to Anger. I connect with the aries notion of anger. If I'm really angry I have no problem exploding, but once I do I'm done. I don't hold on to things very much. That being said, I do have sun and mercury in Sag so...

My last relationship did have a power struggle of sorts. But it was me trying to get her to own her power. She was reluctant to tap into her own dominant energy and that bothered me. At one point, she revealed she felt inferior to me, which was a surprise because I never tried to make her feel that way.
