I had one relationship with a Scorpio. Didn't last long, I think about a month or less, he was a bit weirdish. We clashed because I'm honest and upfront and he was scheming and secretly planning plots to subdue me, I told him I don't roll like that and he can do whatever, won't work on me if I don't want it to. Then he left on a trip and gave me the silent treatment, so I broke it off without his consent and since then barely spoke to each other. He was a foreigner, maybe the difference in upbringing/background also had a word in it but we were so not on the same page. I think there are similarities between Aries and Scorps, definitely. And omg the attraction is insane!! But I always clash with them on the scheming and games thing. I do/used to do some of that too but never so complex and, if u draw the line, pretty unnecessary. I think their defense mechanisms are a bit over board and I guess I did not feel so strong about my Scorpio to have the patience to prove myself to him. I was more like take it or leave it at the time, didn't have time to waste on games and power plays. It was also a bit insulting that he was testing me coz we've been friends for years and I thought I had proven myself, but when we took it to this level he upped his power plays too. IP: Logged |

Lol, I am sure you don't  hehe. He was pretty in love with me and said I intimidated him  so he erm had a little problem  . His Scorpio Venus only made it worse in the end, made him think I will leave him for that and his Leo Mars wanted to compensate for the.. erm problem.. So I had a lot of headaches because he was too paranoid to let me in and to proud to accept it happens sometimes and it's ok.  IP: Logged |

I am a scorpio with a male friend who is (aries sun..taurus venus/mars/..virgo moon) Well we have ALOT in common
He is loyal and predictable also hardworking Also I have no desire to transform anyone. I think that is a generalization. I care about people, probably too much. I like leo people for their love of family. But I have not met a women leo that I liked. They seem too superficial. But hopefully I will one day! IP: Logged |

Aries, and fire signs in general, tend to "care but be careless". As someone with four water placements, including a Cancer moon, this can be challenging. I understand that they care, but their way of caring is completely different than the water way of caring. It doesn't feel as deep, connected, or close, at least not to me (my Venus is in Scorpio. Then again, my way of things is probably too intense for certain fire (and sometimes earth) positions.I really relate to what NeptuneMars said: "I want to transform you. [...] want to go to the depths of your soul or its not worth it". While I don't date, I do feel this with friends. By "transform", I don't mean that I want to change who they are completely--if I did, I would not be friends with them, or try to be. What I do mean, though, is that I would like to influence them (and have them influence me) for the better: for our relationship to make us both better people, to make our lives more beautiful, to make us wiser and more spiritually evolved ('spiritually' in the sense of the soul, not religion). My Venus is in the 12th house. I feel frustrated at times (though not with Leo women; I get along great with them most of the time) with the fire sign carefreeness/carelessness. While I don't like bad types of intensity (like creepy/stalkerish/boundary-crossing/violating intensity), I do need to feel like people really care and understand me, and that they genuinely see me for me, and accept me. I don't always get that with fire signs, though as I said, I have a great time with the Leo ladies. Fire is more about having a good time and being light-hearted. While I do have some fire in my chart, my water and air are definitely the strongest. I can appreciate the fire point of view, and maybe could benefit from it, but it's not really natural for me and it's something that I'd have to learn and adapt to, if I was to be friends with a strongly fire-influenced person--and for me to do that, they'd have to try to understand me as well and meet me halfway. I think that for me, I need the right elements/right signs in the right places, really. As in, I can get along with fire signs--in some positions, and certain signs. It's not so much the element itself that I find easy or difficult to get along with so much as where it shows up in the chart, and in what specific sign. I do like, though, that fire people often don't hold grudges, except in serious cases or if they have other influences. That is one major plus that they have going for them. That, and sometimes they are direct. Indirect or unspoken communication is probably the one thing that I would find difficult about water signs--mainly water Mercuries. However, sometimes when I've spent enough time with a water person, I can pick up on the non-verbal cues, and as a heavily water-influenced person, I definitely am that way in some areas. I'm an expressive Libra sun/Merc, but my Venus in Scorpio is a master of the silent treatment when I am truly upset. I have to agree with what Odette said: quote:

I can understand not sensing more subtle things, but if someone is avoiding you or giving the silent treatment, that's a pretty clear signal. I wonder if the fire sign self-confidence, blunt honesty, and optimism are the reasons why--as in, it would not occur to them that someone is upset because they (a) don't believe that they've done anything wrong and (b) their general attitude is often that everything will be fine, (c) they don't understand how tactlessness can be hurtful, as they see it as 'honesty' and (d) they might not take things personally, except maybe Leo given that pride is especially pronounced in them. Or maybe fire signs aren't as good at non-verbal cues--maybe due to the heavy masculine nature of the signs? (In general, women tend to pick up more on non-verbal communication and tend to be less direct, though obviously there are exceptions). This can be problematic for water signs/water-influenced people, who are more sensitive. I don't think that Aries-Scorpio or fire-water people are necessarily doomed to never get along, but I do think that both sides have to make a concerted effort to understand, appreciate, and accept the other, and meet the other person halfway. Water signs would likely find this easier than fire signs, given their sensitivity and intuition. Without other more positive factors, it would definitely be a very challenging relationship, unless they really come to that point of mutual understanding and compromise. IP: Logged |

I'm an Aries and I'm dating one!
I'm all water and earth, expect for my ASC, Mars, and like I said Sun.And he is ALL earth and water. He is also an eagle type Scorp. But then his Moon is in Taurus so I think that helps a hell of a lot. haha And then there is me!, who has their moon in Scorpio...oh Godddd! LOL I will admit I'm more of a lizard. haha
When I was younger I did not get along with Scorpio Suns, but now that I'm older more in touch with my emotions(in touch with moon sign), and know what makes me tick...I have many friends who are Scorpios.
