thanks Ami! Being raised by narcissists myself, i know those on the outside and even my siblings are blind and brainwashed into believing my parents are good people. It's so frustrating! The curse of the x/ray 8th house moon. 
I also have mars in hard aspect to pluto, but instead of becoming a murderer, i decided to pursue spirituality and knowledge. free will.IP: Logged |

mercurian, we posted at the same time. I also liked your comment and while we will never know what went into all of this, I always think much stems from the parents and upbringing.Doesnt matter if he had a "good one" (life and upbringing). It could have still been a "cold one" or a "effed up one". Even moreso, than coming from a poor family. Everyone has thier dysfunctions and sometimes it's the rich kids that have to deal with more of that. Still think he should have killed himself. Shows that's he's probably got major narcacisstic issues and a huge ego....among other problems. Why didnt he off himself? IP: Logged |

i have my moon in 8th too.. i can see through everybody. I have a few family members who are Narcissts and they are very liked by my family and i can just see right through them. but it doesn't help that i'm psychic too.. i also have the mars in hard aspect to pluto and i'm not inclined to murder either lol. i think though and i've said this before if i didn't have a high level of empathy i think with my crazy chart i might have ended up being one. On that note.. i don't think a bad upbring causes someone to do this.. i think its the development of the soul.. so if you have bad aspects in your chart, a bad childhood and you lack empathy.. you will do reallly bad things.

To the last two 8th house mooners, I have the same placement. And was also raised by some pretty *bleeped* up parents. Thankfully, I have turned out alright. My brother didnt fare so well.  IP: Logged |

I refuse to give that entity any kind of attention. He absolutely doesn`t deserve it.
 (I know us astrologers are a curious bunch, and I am usually like this; just not this time, I am much too disgusted. Oh and for the record, as horrible and awful this is, it horrifies me even more to know and see that it is not the only horrid thing going on in the world.) IP: Logged |

I agree Awakener! I'm pretty psychic too, and i think my empathy is due to my sun in 12th. Also i believe girls turn the rage on themselves and take the blame, and boys for the most part lash out and become aggressive.IP: Logged |

I don't like to blame the parents either. He is 24 years old! Unless they find something in his childhood or that he was abused then it would have probably shown in the early years, and not when he has achieved so much already and working on his PhD. He did have a good life compare to others, how else would he reach his goals, finish his studies? He just chose to throw it all away! IP: Logged |

One thing to note...I listened to a show the other night with some psycologists on it and apparently major mental disorders, schizophrenia etc, does not usually show up unil between the ages of 18 and 27 years old.So while there may have been signs along the way, it usually doesnt "blow up" until somewhere between those ages. I have an 8th house moon too, but I don't have a bad Mars-Pluto aspect. I also would not harm someone unless they were trying to harm me: it would have to be self-defense to protect myself from being raped, mutilated, killed, assaulted, something of a violent/predatory nature. It would be my last resort, not my first. So, having an 8th house moon doesn't make you a bad person or a psycho.IP: Logged |

Same here. My Mars aspects Pluto nicely and I think is a strong point in my chart. Sorry, I havent even checked out the guys chart yet to see what his placements are.. As we all know, much more than astrology goes into something like this. IP: Logged |

People with 8th house placements, especially personal planets are always interested in the psychology behind everything. We want to dissect it and figure it all out so it makes sense, but sometimes no sense can be made out of things. People are too complex.IP: Logged |

umm, nobody said having an 8th house moon makes someone a psycho or bad person

Nobody said it does. it can be both good or bad depending what the soul chooses to do with the energies. I think these aspects test the soul to see how evolved and strong they are. IP: Logged |
