Wasn't a joke. If you get all your physical traits from your gene pool and your family (which, we all know we do), in a sense altering them because you find those traits unattractive, is, in a sense, a sort of rejection of your ancestors, or parts of them. I absolutely feel like it's a betrayal so I could never do it. I find it a bit hypocritical too in a sense because whatever I got from them that I like or find socially acceptable, I'd keep, and then try to discard what I feel (or society feels) isn't up to snuff? No. I feel like, "You take it all". IP: Logged |

I don't know what in my chart would have spurred me to do it, maybe:1) sun opposition saturn or 2) the chiron in Aries in the first house or maybe my Venus in Libra which is very into aesthetics. Very. Chipped nail polish irks me to no end, so imagine an ugly schnoz?
Somebody else who isn't afraid to be honest either I'd also love to sort out my "Leo nose......" I too have my Sun opposite Saturn. Pisces dominant, followed by Scorpio and Cancer.

What makes you think it's dishonest? Not everybody who can afford plastic surgery, wants it and actually has it done. A lot of celebrities don't go under the knife. Sure, a lot do, but a lot do pass on it. I think people have to remember here that not everyone necessarily thinks the way they do, so if someone gives a different take it doesn't necessarily mean they're 'lying'. IP: Logged |

No I didnt mean it like that. I meant honest as in admitting to having had something done. Alot of people have plastic surgery then totally deny that they have had it. (i.e Nicki Minaj) Hope that clarifies StacyLewis. IP: Logged |

Happy new year I would definitely get a plastic surgery if i feel like it. I do not think it is a bad idea. Especially after a child birth. Anyways, If somebody does not like certain feature of the face/body, have financial availability and courage to go under knife. Go for it. IP: Logged |

One question then:Do the results of plastic surgery procedures make the person end up still looking like X rising X sun X moon? Has anyone looked into before and afters of surgery versus astro charts? IP: Logged |

Ps. I have been asked whether I would have anything done many times - and my answer is no. Of course it'd be nice to be slimmer etc etc, but I think that should be fixed WITHOUT surgery which, let me remind you, can be fatal. I neither consider myself a beauty nor ugly - I am contempt I guess. I think I'd always be able to find something better to spend my money on - such as experiencing the whole world and having a great time with friends while caring for other less fortunate people. :-) IP: Logged |

However, I know people in my life, where I thought it's totally okay. A woman who went through breast cancer and had her breasts removed. A really big nose etc. I am not here to judge, but it isn't a priority to me. Some funny stuff from real life of what happens when what you see is not what you get *giggles*: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2223718/Chinese-man-sues-wife-ugly-court-AGREES--awarding-120-000.html http://photos.connectingsingles.com/blogs/6/blog3b190_10881.jpg http://www.fmylife.com/kids/19905347

I'm going in for a nose job this month....been wanting one for years. I think it's my 6H Venus conjunct DSC. I put a lot of effort into the way I look. It's strangely rewarding. IP: Logged |
