oh lmao. Yes I agree with that! I do that all the time haha. And yes, I have always felt that aries and cancer had similar temperaments, even though they are opposite in so many other ways. There is this childlike innocence to both and yep their (our..hehe) tempers and stubbornness seems similar, too. lol

hmm, i do that too. I like to create a ruckus and never like to see people too settled with themselves. But, when someone takes it personally instead of it being a cool open-minded philosophical debate, even though I do admit i like to push the extremes and push people's buttons..I am telling myself inside my head "Retreat! RETREAT"

If someone is mad at me, I can't take it. I guess it has to do with the idea, again, of not being able to stand rejection.

Yes I sure do care about him a lot... He is activating my Cancer Ascendant. I have never shown that I gave a damn about a lover before him. I always kept it light until it got heavy, and then I was neurotic. Now I seem to be able to behave like a semi-normal person.

For many years, and at the beginning of this current relationship, because I knew I was falling for someone & opening myself up to emotional pain (Moon conjunct Mercury in Pisces), I would take emotional jabs at them to try to push them away. Moon in Pisces was falling, Sun in Aries was lashing out. Or, does Pisces have a mean strike? Was it my Mercury? Sometimes I think Aries gets the rep for being the hothead because we're so outwardly hotheaded. Spy on us when we're alone at home and I would guess a majority of us are acting like cute little kids, coloring or dancing or playing with legos. Haha.

My partner has Sun/Mercury/Saturn in Cancer but that's where his water stops. Moon in Capricorn, Leo Rising, Mars in Leo, Venus in Gemini. I don't think he's afraid to leave me if it comes to that. And maybe a bit sooner than a more emotional Cancer might?

You are so right, in my experience, with the kind intention behind saying they have no shame. No matter how much we argue, when I come downstairs and we get ready to leave for work, he will tell me I look nice, or open the car door for me, or make some gesture to show that even though he's angry he still cares. My goodness, Cancer Cares.

I have read that a Venus/Mars square in the natal chart might lead an individual to enjoy a bit of discord. I have Mars in Taurus & Venus in Aquarius and this is true. I do think all people like peace sometimes; but for some of us, constant peace is just boring. It sounds ridiculous to admit that considering the pain and suffering and lack of peace in so many parts of the world, but it's true for me.

Yeah, that's exactly how I am. I also see the truth in everything and keep it too real. I've even been told that before, that I'm "too" real. It's something I've been trying to control about myself, but it's hard for me to pretend to think something I don't or stay quiet about it. Does he have mercury in hard aspect to uranus by any chance? (conjunct, square, opp, semisquare, quincunx, sesquiquadrate)

But in general I find that I don't worry about it too much if someone contacts me often and gives me affection. Then I feel loved, so I trust them. I don't care too much if someone doesn't remember my birthday because I usually forget other people's, even my best friends'. I'm guessing that maybe you do things other than forget his birthday that make him think you don't love him that much. Because the birthday thing seems like its pretty trivial and wouldn't be the sole basis for someone concluding that the person doesnt care.
