Your experience? What is better - conjunction, trine, whatever? One's emotions would react with the other's feelings, right? So, with a conjunction they would blend into each other, right? What have you experienced with aspects between these planets? Spill out. P.S. Not only in romantic ones, family and friends, or enemies as well. IP: Logged |

Have only experienced this aspect with my husband, we have Moon conjunction Venus. He's the Venus and I am Moon. It's a very forgiving aspect, when ever we argue about something, we can't stand mad at each other for very long. When I express emotions he in turn expresses his love. The astro books might be right about this one being a major aspect for marriages.IP: Logged |

I had it with my ex husband. It's a nice aspect to have, but I wouldn't say it is a sexual one. IP: Logged |

the square or opposition is best imo! sooo lovingive had moon conjunct venus before and it isnt anything that great for me. moon trine and sextile venus is very sweet, but the square still wins it for me. Much more passionate feelings there. ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

My husband and I have Moon square Venus (1 degree orb)AND Moon opposed to Venus (4degree orb). I have read the hard aspects are not helpful in a relationship. However what you are saying rings true to me! We have tons of passion and positive emotions and romance. There are mutually intense feelings of protection we also feel for eachother and what we bring out in eachother. Can you say more about these two aspects??? Thank you. IP: Logged |

I think which aspects you prefer in synastry will depend on how your Moon and Venus are aspected natally.I’ll use myself as an example… Natally I’ve got Moon in Cancer quincunx Venus in Sagittarius within a degree. In the case of Venus, she also trines Saturn and Chiron, opposes Jupiter, semi-squares Uranus, and quintiles Pluto… Venus has plenty of outlets for her energy… My Moon on the other hand has the sole aspect of a quincunx to Venus. So my Moon is a little stressed. What I’ve noticed is that if something conjuncts my Venus it may quincunx my Moon, but it’s quite Pleasant for the most part because Venus has other aspects… But when something conjuncts my Moon, it’s like it emphasizes the awkwardness of the quincunx, because the Moon only has the one stressful aspect. For this reason, I seem to prefer aspects other then the conjunction of Venus and the Moon. They may work marvelously for others but in my case they just don’t work so well. Venus in Capricorn opposite my Moon is quite lovely for me because then the Moon has somewhere to funnel her energy in a direct way. It’s nice. I had this with a female co-worker and there was just a natural affection between us. Another thing I’ve noticed is that same planet quincunxes are more confusing and awkward then different planet quincunxes. Like Mercury quincunx Mercury is worse then Mercury quincunx Venus, because then the two mental facilities fail to make sense to each other. It makes all communication in the relationship challenging. The quincunx is a rather indirect energy (but also perceptive, and insightful) which is difficult in relationships. Squares at least are direct. Using myself as an example again, when Cancer Venus conjuncts my Cancer Moon it also creates a Venus/Venus quincunx with my Sag Venus… So expressing affection and relating becomes awkward overall. And when Sagittarius Moon conjuncts my Sagittarius Venus it creates a Moon/Moon quincunx… Making shared intimacy and emotional expression awkward… Venus/Moon conjunctions don’t work as well in my chart. One exception to this might be if the other person has a different planet making an opposition of a soft aspect to my Moon in synastry to diffuse my quincunx… In such cases a conjunction might work alright. In general though I do much better with Venus/Venus conjunctions, and Moon/Moon conjunctions then Venus/Moon conjunctions…. Because then there is no same planet quincunx. Venus/Moon oppositions, trines, sextiles, and squares usually work fine. IP: Logged |

Hi CRCRINCON and CIND3R Compatibility is way more than one aspect. Particularly, from my experience, the composite seems to be most important. CIND3R, if you had moon conjunct venus in synastry, and you say you were in love, that could easily be because of a love stellium in the composite, or some other configuration like composite moon in hard aspect to venus with venus in aspect to pluto. We could also say that your moon square venus experience was due to a poor composite. CRCRINCON, if you have the double whammy, that is a very good indication. However, synastry doesnt exist by itself. We must also look at the composite. If you love someone, your composite will also be significant, not just your synastry. Squares are always more compelling than conjunctions or any other aspect. They create an obsession. This is why moon square venus is so potent. If you experience stronger feelings for someone over somebody else, what I'm saying is, there are lots of factors to consider, that may not have to do with moon square venus being there or not. You have to look at the compatibility as a whole, because certain configurations are more potent than others. And yes, configurations means, certain aspects existing with other aspects, in both composite and synastry. This also goes with what Lotis White was saying. Certain aspects will cause certain other aspects to occur in synastry, depending on what your own natal chart looks like. It's not to say that all aspects don't have the same effect on everyone, because I believe they certainly do. But we have to look at the compatibility as a whole. Someone's venus may square your moon, which may cause that planet to square another because you the square natally, but the orb matters a great deal. We could find someone born on the day after that person who has that aspect at much wider orb with you and who you will feel the moon square venus more strongly with. At the end of the day, we shouldn't hypothesize too much without looking at the compatibility as a whole. ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

I've added what I feel the ideal compatibility configurations are from looking at lots of charts to my signature. There are also readings done that serve as examples in my signature as well as the thread where I posted------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings | Ideal compatibility | Q&A IP: Logged |

I couldn't agree more! And fantastic information. I've been studying for years alone (never in a class) but Ive done readings for people with just their natal charts and been very successful. So I'm knowledgable of how important it is to look at the the whole picture. But relationship analysis still confuses me at times and Ive years and spent hours and hours studying and analyzing synastry in books and with my family and friends charts to study from. But with my husband what has confused me, though I know we work so beautifully is our lack of really ANY major conjunctions with in a tight orb that would create the intensity we experience. I guess more in that traditional oh you sun and my moon kind of way. I am still learnin g about the blended energies of ones individual chart WITH regards to how is enhances the synastry aspects. So very helpful information. Thank you. Also, my husband and I have an amazing composite with a kite. I don't study the composite as much as I do synastry. Maybe that's where I should begin to spend more time. ??? I should post it here to see because it is really quite lovely. IP: Logged |

With all due respect, runaround.. I'm by no means a newbie and you were wrong on both accts. Composite venus' were conjunct and both were conjunct my natal venus, his natal venus, mars and my moon. There was no hard aspect between venus and pluto or venus and moon, even in the composite. His venus is conjunct my Moon, BLISS, Saturn is in the mix as well, slapbang in top of it, his Saturn. We met later in life, but never looked back.It is all in sagitarius. We are very close, understanding with no words, and as somebody already mentioned, very forgiving, sex is not that high on the agenda, but loving is.

Yeah, I own SolarFire...so I don't need any external free program to do the analysis for me. Those free reports aren't very helpful for me at this point in astrological understanding. I know what the aspects are between us...it's more I don't feel we have some of the major aspects people say should lead to such a successful marriage. Except for our composite. Our composite is pretty amazing as I said before.

I made a thread about this aspect a few years ago. Its funny how astrology works! I have the same feelings about this aspect that you do! I call Venus conjunct Moon the "aspect of forgiveness." I dated a woman whom I had venus conjunct moon 0˚ and man, just like you, we could not stay mad at each other for long at all. Stuff that I would have major heartburn over with other women, just seemed like it was not a big deal when I was with her. I was Venus and she was the moon. It is a nice aspect to have. You just have to be careful not to be too forgiving and gloss over serious red flags! ------------------ Gemini Sun Libra Moon Gemini Mercury Cancer Venus Virgo Mars Virgo Asc And yes, I'm a guy! It can be, depending on which houses the Moon and Venus rule and what planets they aspect. In our case it's my Moon (and Mars) conjunct my guy's Venus (his 2nd house ruler) and I'd say there's definitely a very physical/sensual side to it. IP: Logged |

i hope i have this in my next relationship i endured years of an unforgiving partnership until i realised i needed a partner who is able to forgive, is a little lighter and not so heavy. I'm a very forgiving type, despite my scorp asc but he just wasn't able to - cap moon? not sure of our moon aspects or moon/venus. we had mars/venus square though. eek.
