I am the first born of my family and my rising sign matches my dad's sun sign to the degree!My first born and his dad have no matches. My first born and I share a sun sign and his moon is on my ascendant. IP: Logged |

Yes it works for me. My father was a Sun in Virgo and Moon Libra and I am Sun Virgo and Moon in Cancer.I am actually his second child (the first was a miscarriage), but he and I have the same sun sign.
It also works for my husband.
He is Sun in Leo, Moon Scorpio, And his father was a Sun in Leo (moon unknown) IP: Logged |

At my work I got to know peoples birthdate, and often also their family members birthday... and I noticed that many children share their mother or fathers sun sign, or they are at least born in the same month.
Otherwise from that, sisters and brothers also seem to share the same birth month, or the are born within a month from each other. It doesn't hold true from me though... I am a virgo sun with pisces moon, and my parents are aries sun/sag moon and gemini sun/aries moon. But my pisces moon is in the last degree, so sometimes I feel like I should have been born an hour later:P My mom used to tell me that something went wrong when I was born, so the doctor told her that she had to do it fast, and thats what she did. So maybe I should actually have been born a hour later lol:P

I am the first born and it doesn't work for me.My dad is Sag sun, Cancer moon.
I am Taurus sun, taurus moon. EDIT: oh wait yeah, our moons are harmonious together! My mother's ASC is exactly trine my Sun though, and my Dad's moon conjuncts it widely. My sister who is younger than me has her ASC conjunct our mam's Sun  She is a Cancer moon too I believe. IP: Logged |

Hum... For my family it only works if we think outside sun signs only!  Mom: Pisces Sun, Aquarius Moon, Libra ASC
Dad: Virgo Sun, Taurus Moon, Aries or Taurus ASC
Bro: Libra Sun, Taurus Moon, Taurus ASC

Interesting.The children I would have had (but didn't) would both have been Scorpios, conceived around Valentine's day. First father was Aries sun, second father was Capricorn. I can't remember their full charts as it was light years away now! I just checked my father's chart (he died a few years ago and it's the first time I've ever looked up his chart). He had Leo sun and mercury conjunct, which by the time I was born would have progressed to my Virgo sun and mercury conjunct. Weird that. His Venus/Mars conjunct in Cancer is like my Venus/Mars conjunct in Leo. It's like I mirror so many of his traits (which is true) yet we we never saw eye to eye (also true). I don't check the full natal charts of my nearest and dearest, but since he's passed away I guess it doesn't really matter. What I did notice about my father however is that despite being a Leo sun, he had a lot of water in his chart, which explains a lot about his softer personality. IP: Logged |

Conversely, I was born on the 69th day of the year...and my firstborn's birthday is 11-6-90. You might also find it interesting that I also have three younger Pisces kids, two girl fish and one boy fish. I suffer with endometriosis, causing me issues with infertility and extremely heavy bleeding, and thus I have never been able to have a planned pregnancy. It just happened that way. I'm a firstborn...I have a Gemini Moon and my Mom is a Gemini.

my dad - scorpio sun/pisces moon
me - cap sun/cap moon but! my dad has so much scorpio in his chart - a stellium
my mum has a virgo stellium and i have venus scorpio/virgo mars also both mum and dad have mars leo and i seem to be surrounded by leo moon and leo mars everywhere IP: Logged |

I'm the first born for my mom and only child for my dad.Mom has: Cancer Asc, Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon Dad is a triple Taurus. I'm a Leo Asc, Pisces Sun, Taurus Moon. My boyfriend is a Leo Asc, Cancer Sun, Aquarius Moon. And finally, our daughter has a Libra Asc with a Taurus Sun and Moon. So, it applies to me and my Moon, but not my daughter... and her father is definitely her father  I wonder, out of the people it doesn't work for, how many of them have an aspect that would make up for it? For instance, my daughter has that Taurus Moon conjunct Uranus with an orb of 1'30. Not the same as Moon in Aquarius, but makes them relatable.
