RAS' thread of the love stellium - http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/209763.html If not, could you post your composite so we can look at what is creating the strong long-lasting bond other than that? I just would like to better understand what might go into a composite for long lasting relationships. I know my parents, for example, for have been together since they were teenagers have the love stellium. It is afflicted. Most of the chart is in fixed planets. Here is their chart: birth times not accurate my dad's birthtime is an estimate and my mother's is unknown. so disregard the houses while looking at this. they have been together for 35 years. High school sweethearts. Married for 29 years I think it would be very interesting to see the charts of those married couples who have it/especially those who do not.
If birthtimes aren't accurate, just mention that. The good thing about looking for the love stellium is that is shows without exact birthtimes.

Do you want a chart or you rather not have one? It's five planet stellium, excluding another 4 major asteroids, and very 7th House heavy, for sure. How long have your parents been married? 25 years? More? IP: Logged |

OOH! this is very interesting because it is this kind of love stellium RAS and i have talked about where the conjunctions are a little wide but you can still feel them. She says it still counts. Also, this is interesting bc mercury is the wide conjunct to Venus and not the sun. I know I can feel those love stelliums. Thank you so much, I will have fun looking at this more closely. From my "ideal compatibility" list quote: love stellium (sun conjunct mercury conjunct venus) even 12 degrees apart is ok, also sun opposite mercury, sun opposite venus, sun semisextile/semisquare venus is the same as conjunction.

Thank *you* very much. I didn't know any of this when I met her. And not until RAS told me. The bottom line is that relationships must be driven by love. That is what drives longevity, unless we have a couple who can't stand each other and just lead separate lives IP: Logged |

Hmmm, I can't remember if this counts as a love stellium if venus and mars aren't in there. OH well, here's my husband and I. Only 6 years so far, but hey. We are an odd couple though, with me being 9 years older than him and from different cultural backgrounds, plus neither of us considered marriage until we met each other so something strong brought us together. Actually it is a love stellium. Sun has a wide opposition to Venus. Sun is conjunct mercury. With the "opposite house" in the composite - that means that Venus can be interpreted as in Aries or in Libra as well. SO it can be interpreted as 11 degrees from the composite Sun. IP: Logged |

Keep in mind my paternal grandparents were married for 68 years. They had four children together. They hated each other's guts with a passion. They cursed at each other. So, for the old timers, being married a long time doesn't necessarily mean much. IP: Logged |

Haha my grandparents have been married forEVER. But they still love eachother. I'm not sure their birth years but it is probably worth trying to find out. IP: Logged |

Hi! I've been with my husband for 8 years. Married since December 21, 2008. We are totally in love. Hot chemistry, lots of understanding and joy. We also stick more closely together when things get tough. It doesn't pull us apart at all. But we are very different from eachother, but seem to have a lot of respect for our differences. There is a strong destiny between us that is obvious to anyone who is around us. We have a daughter who is the light of our lives. p.s. Not sure how I ended up with desid in there, I must have had that asteroid put in by accident. lol. I'd post synastry graph, but don't know how to do that since it's a PDF and you can't upload that to photobucket. How did you guys do that??? IP: Logged |

peachbeigeblue, your parents' chart looks like never ending lessons One thing I learned from Iq is to always consider the placement and aspects of the chart ruler. Its the "purpose", along with the sun. I also noticed many long term relationship composites have strong Chiron aspects.

Yes, its an aspect in the composite. I will give you an article because I doubt I would be able to explain it properly http://www.cafeastrology.com/solstice_points_antiscia.html IP: Logged |

I have to edit my post to make sure people know my parents' birthtimes are not accurate. My dad's was an estimate and my mother's is unknown. So chart ruler can't be used for theirs.

^Another love stellium. The only one that doesn't have pluto in the composite is peachbeigeblue's parents, but they have moon conjunct neptune and moon opp venus in composite and DW sun-pluto aspects in synastry------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings | Ideal compatibility (3rd post) | Q&A | What's a Love stellium? Oh this is a good thread. I had meant to put up a similar one for RAS because I have some comp charts I was wondering about. They might be helpful to study also. I'll come back and post them once I am at my computer and not on my phone. IP: Logged |

Is sun conjunct mercury, sun semisextile venus a love stellium?Or is a combination of sun conjunct mercury and widely conjunct mars a love stellium? Also what about a traditional love stellium in a progressed composite chart? Are any of these valid? Thanks IP: Logged |

haha, wishful thinking? What about the progressed composite? Would a love stellium have as much importance in a progressed composite in your opinion? IP: Logged |
