"PHASE 170 (VIRGO 20°): A CARAVAN OF CARS HEADED TO THE WEST COAST.

KEYNOTE: The need of cooperative effort in reaching any "New World" of experience.

It is difficult to know, from the original formulation of the clairvoyant's vision, the type of caravan of cars that was visualized; what seems to be clearly implied is a process in which a group of persons are journeying together — thus linking their consciousnesses and energies (the "car" symbol) — in order to safely reach the goal of destiny. Here there is no longer any sense of competition, but an ordered and structured endeavor.

At this last stage of the five-fold sequence the past is entirely left behind; men cooperate in the great "adventure in consciousness" in a TOTALIZATION OF PURPOSE AND EFFORT."

The Sabian for my Saturn-Release-point is

"PHASE 287 (CAPRICORN 17°): A REPRESSED WOMAN FINDS A PSYCHOLOGICAL RELEASE IN NUDISM.

KEYNOTE: The escape from bondage to social inhibitions and a reliance upon the wisdom of the body.

Under the pressure of religions that have created a sharp and unwholesome division between soul and body, society has produced strict codes of values regarding the play of natural instincts, and has glorified them under the name of "decency" and "modesty." The growing trend toward nudism — which of course has nothing to do with the "pornographic" display of one's body — is a welcome protest against the depressing and neurosis-generating puritanism of the past. Men and women are demanding a psychologically as well as physically healthful freedom of the body as a means of overcoming the hypocrisy and constrictions of social behavior.

In this second stage symbol we see how our society has been able to repress and distort the natural activity of the human body and its sensitivity to the elements. Thus a contrast is established between healthy youth at play and the neurotic subservience to a socio-religious tradition. The symbol is a call for RELEASE FROM INHIBITIONS."

Could we transfer this to transits?
I mean, transiting personal planets which are at the exact opposite point of your natal Saturn.. (coincidentally T. Mars is there right now for me and tomorrow exact when I will have an important meeting) .. so.. we could simply *use* this positively instead of letting our Gem-Saturn (square merc./asc---> so that T-mars even makes a T-square) blowing the whole case up as if it will be the worst day ever! I wish I could! Well, so t. Sag-Mars could learn me a lesson to take the whole thing a bit more with a grain of salt? Just be open to it?

edit;

Sabian for T. Mars tomorrow (and my saturn release point);

4-5 Sag An old owl sits alone on the branch of a large tree

Hm.. sounds pretty peaceful and I can use that.

This alone already feels as a meditation

Ceridwen, I like that Sabian for you. What do you think? You have mentioned before your sense of not being in touch with, or comfortable with, being in physical form...or something to that effect...at least in the past.

Though a reserved Cap Venus (like me) might be challenged by the thought? IDK, what do you think?

Apologies for the delay, a strange computer glitch prevented the second part plus additional info from being posed here. Have to re-type and hopefully send this on the 12th. Looks like Lord Saturn is a bit upset with me...

3º Aquarius: A deserter from the navy.
Ability to regrasp past experience and turn it to account. Sharp self-examination. Awakened new fearlessness. Decision.
*When positive, the degree is genuine psychological courage in a repudiation of all meaningless loyalties, and when negative, complete inability to follow the rules of any game.

All meaningless loyalties....? Hm. That one makes me wonder. Any thoughts?

I lost my link to the sabian interpretations. Anyone have a link for Aqua 3 they could share?

Here it is Sorcha--

PHASE 303 (AQUARIUS 3°): A DESERTER FROM THE NAVY.

KEYNOTE: The individual's self-realization through a crucial repudiation of a collective status which has become unbearable.

This symbol recalls the one for Scorpio 21°, but the fact that actual "desertion" is emphasized and reference is made to "the Navy" suggests that the crisis symbolized here is one implying an irrevocable change of status. Man refuses to accept the type of cultural patterns derived from his society's specific approach to local circumstances and to the universe as a whole, and in another sense, from its particular relationship to the all-human collective Unconscious. (The Navy refers to the ocean, symbol of primordial and unconscious evolutionary forces.) He not only refuses to obey orders, he deliberately turns his back on his collective social status; he becomes an outcast, and through this decision he may definitely individualize his consciousness.

This is the third stage of the sixty-first five-fold sequence. Something with collective social value is being potentially destroyed, but nature is not the destroyer (as in the preceding symbol). Man, the individual, steps out of his bondage to collective patterns and ideals. He may thus "find himself' by means of a sharp renunciation of his social birthright, i.e. by a crucial process of DESOCIALIZATION.

Thank you Linda! Very much appreciated And so what in the hang fire should I derive from that!?! I'm already a bit socially challenged lately - need to get out more Maybe it's just about differentiating myself from others as an individual and not conforming to society? I already do that - Sun and Venus trine Uranus. Hm.

Saturn in Libra: You can never grow if you always choose to think of others, think of what others think and hope for a team or partner for any activity. Take that step to go alone and pioneer in something. Try to set a personal goal and achieve it without having to share with all the details. It is in your best interest to be intelligently aggressive about your personal rights and needs. Fairness and balance cannot be expected all the time, do learn to accept that sometimes there has to be a first among equals.

Saturn in Scorpio: You do not have to give sex, extra money or extra effort just because others do not understand your comfort zones. Do not imprison yourself through sex or sexual desire. It is perfectly ok to feel comfortable, enjoy creature comforts and be an owner of your own stuff. It is ok to dream of owning your own property, it is ok to relax in life than always worry about your performance. Do not worry about judgment of under-performance, most of the negative self talk is only in your head. Learn to be comfortable about being you.

Saturn in Sagittarius: Neglecting facts, silence and excessive specialization will sap your life force. Read, read and read some more. Speak about what you read to as many friends as you can. Boredom is not a virtue, and it is ok to multitask. Sometimes, the fun is in the journey than in always finding out a core philosophy. It would be truly refreshing to master a musical instrument and play a variety of tunes with it. Variety is truly the spice of your life.

Saturn in Capricorn: Know that your family has positive feelings for you. Emotional detachment from parents or children is not some great virtue, you cannot be happy by building some huge empire whilst neglecting your family life. Structure Is not everything, status is not everything. Try to feel the love of an infant, try to enjoy a good dose of humor and laughter. It is not ok to risk all your finances in business. Eat well and enjoy the beach every once in a while. To the guys, fight for your love, it is ok to man up for her.

Saturn in Aquarius: It is not worth it to shy away from the camera for too long. If you have worked hard, there is no sin in attracting attention. It is legal and smart to have patents in your name. Roentgen died penniless because he did not patent X-Rays and gave away tat knowledge for free to humanity. Looking good and dressing well can definitely help. Strengthen your heart and spine [physically and philosophically]. People will actually appreciate your talks if you put some sizzle in them.

Saturn in Pisces: Do no waste your money on every psychic medium you find. There is something called cold reading, study it so that you do not fall prey to charlatans. Fear is a mind killer and 90% of ghost sightings or UFO Sightings do have a rational explanation.
Paying attention to the small print will help you immensely. You cannot become a glamor actor overnight so try to avoid fantasizing about a TV Career or Hollywood break through by chance. It needs hard work and consistent effort. Neglect of hard work will only lead to misery and exploitation. Effort is your best friend. Honesty is your second best friend.

I couldnt agree more. All i can know about all i want answers to is really my freedom. Also, there is a music insturment i have wanted to learn and master so badly since my early teens, i had such a pull towards it... but never got to doing it.

Whats interesting is that I can also really relate to Saturn in Libra discription. I have really felt that was my answer the whole time Saturn was over my ASC recently. The fact that i had to give myself time and learn to say no to others was standing in my way.

I think it is a good idea to look where transitting saturn is in your chart as well and if hitting planets. the opposite point to that may also help guide your freedom for that transit.

I have a love-hate relationship with attention. When I do end up getting it, I always end up ******* everyone off and then they hate me. Then return to liking me, then hating me and so on... but for the most part I have no idea how to get attention, and am sick of changing myself to appeal to people. I have accepted myself for the most part, and if people hate me, what else can I do?

People with Saturn in Aqua that in my generation get LOADS of attention, especially the Virgos and Aries, and people put them on a pedestal almost.

iQ, thank you for this very informative read.

May I ask a question about Saturn in Scorpio?

If in a natal, 7 planets are in water, and all make soft aspects to Saturn in Scorpio, will such an individual find it easier to find freedom in the opposite sign of Taurus, given that there's already so much "grounding" present in the chart?

Thank you.

It would be necessary to connect to Taurus Energy in this case, and to Virgo Energy for additional Earth Element practicality. So much water and Saturn in Scorpio can create excessive emotions followed by self-blame for the feelings. Psychic power would be tremendous but without some Virgo critical reasoning, intelligently filtering the inputs would become impossible.

Leo Saturn@2.50...2 or 3? Hmmm?
PHASE 302 (AQUARIUS 2°): AN UNEXPECTED THUNDERSTORM.

KEYNOTE: The need to develop the inner security which will enable us to meet unexpected crises.

An interesting connection can be made between the symbols for Taurus 1° and 2° — "A clear mountain stream" and "An electrical storm" — and those for Aquarius 1° and 2°, two hundred and seventy degrees apart (a "waning" square, in terms of a cycle of relationship such as the lunation cycle). In the first case we deal with energies or activities that can be related to the natural development of the individual. But here we are primarily concerned with social, collective processes and the function of the individual within them. The symbol itself — "An unexpected thunderstorm" — could be given a very positive meaning in an arid environment, but the emphasis on "unexpected" tends to accent the sudden and dangerous character of the event. Such a thunderstorm in a region of dry hills can cause a devastating flood. At any rate, it refers to an event for which one is not prepared — a menace to men's works.

Seen as a second stage symbol — thus in contrast to the preceding one — this scene stresses the fact that nature may reduce to impermanence the seemingly most permanent endeavors and constructive activities of men. Under a downpour of rain, adobe brick can return to mud. All human institutions and their achievements can be washed away, even in their day of great glory. "Dust you were, dust you must become." This is NATURE'S CHALLENGE.

***I relate a bit to this, but its not completely where my heart is****

***I guess im a 3 because i completely relate to this, this is me and my life 100%, i have a Scorpio@21 N.Node to!*****

Yes, iQ, this makes sense as internally, emotional sensitivity is high but is outwardly kept in check by the Saturn contacts.

Psychic power is also amazingly high. However intelligence, reasoning, and critical faculties are also high, maybe because of Pluto trine Mercury (1 deg). Deeply penetrating and focused mind, imo.

But as you said, can benefit from Taurus strengths. The self blame you mentioned is also present, along with a tremendously strong sense of responsibility toward others. Can sacrifice a great deal to help others. Ego is diluted because of Neptune contacts.

Thank you again.
