Can someone please shed some light on what a natal Venus - transit Uranus conjunction does and vice versa?I am currently going through a double whammy Uranus-Venus and Venus-Uranus conjunction. My personal life is completely upside down right now and I want to know if this is why. Thanks IP: Logged |

When Transiting Uranus aspects your natal Venus... ...you crave excitement in your relationships. Uranus often brings us non-traditional relationships/partners (i.e. partners from a different culture, background, etc.), which usually begin (and end) very suddenly. Timing Uranus transits is very simple, as events tend to occur at the time Uranus makes an exact aspect to your Venus (by exact, I mean the aspect is within 11 minutes of exact). Uranus-Venus relationships are characterized as sudden, impermanent, non-traditional, and exciting. What usually happens is a sudden encounter with the "man/woman of your dreams", and the native often experiences "love at first sight". The energy between the two is electric and exciting, but not stable, and the relationship often lacks any real commitment. Uranus transits serve to jolt us awake through events that force us to throw out any previous behaviors or habits we tend to cling to. This is especially true for emotionally clingy, needy people, or people who are inherently stable and afraid of change. Uranus relationships are difficult to control, and manipulative tactics are completely useless in getting what we want out of the relationship. The native must learn to "let go" of expectations and control, or he or she will suffer greatly from this transit. Because Uranus is characterized by impermanence and excitement, many find that relationships begun under this influence often end when the initial spark fizzles and one of the partners gets bored and feels the need to move on. Sometimes, when the transit is over, the native may say, "what was I thinking, being in that relationship?" due to the fact that partners are generally chosen for the fact that they are "different" and "exciting", rather than suitable, which becomes more and more apparent as Uranus moves away from their natal Venus. This period can also be marked by increased promiscuity on the part of the native. Uranus on one's Venus increases one's magnetism, so the likelihood of meeting several partners increases. A good friend of mine characterised her Uranus opposite Venus transits as: "Lots of one-night stands, and lots of partying." This is especially true with the conjunction, square and opposition. Sextiles and trines are generally more stable influences, but have that Uranian spark to them nonetheless. The partners you find under this transit are generally Aquarius or Uranian, or the syanstry or composite charts have strong Aquarian/Uranian influences. http://astrolady.wix.com/astrolady#!when-will-i-find-love-part-1/cq2b Hang in there. Once the transit is over, things will go back to normal. Pay attention to the exact hits. IP: Logged |

It depends on your natal chart. If Venus isn't connected to your 7th house or 7th house ruler it might just create a need to re-evaluate your values.Venus is how we give, or show our love and many just assume that means the current relationships ~ which is a bit too simplistic. It also depends what other long term transits you've got going on. Uranus is known to de-stabilise whatever it transits, but the reason for the uncertainty will depend on personal circumstances. I had the opposition a couple of years ago and my daughter had the conjunction. She began a serious [traditional] relationship and it still with him, she also ended a fairly serious one just before she started dating the current one. You're only going to be promiscuous if you're like it anyway. I agree with some of what is written above but it's a bit narrow minded. During the time I had the opposition, I never slept with anyone at all. Venus is in my 10th ~ my long term career goals changed more than my views on relationships, Venus rules my 7th & 11th/12th. You need to take the whole chart in to account to see if Uranus really is to blame for your love life being on its head <3 The whole "going back to normal" I can't agree with at all. Uranus never leaves you where he finds you. That's more a tactic of Pluto... though he'll normally hurl you a level or two down from where you were. Edit to add: I forgot about art, Venus rules art, it can indicate a seriously creative period.

Anyone else out there have any Uranus/Venus stories?Next year, I'll have t.Uranus in sextile with my n.Venus for a seriously long time. If you count Uranus at 11 degrees, and my n.Venus at 12 degrees. t.Uranus is in my 12th, and n.Venus is in my 2nd. Not sure what that brings, but it could be a big re-evaluation of what material success means to me? Or creative ideas leading to material opportunities? IP: Logged |

My friend just had Uranus transiting conjunct his Aries Venus. He basically spent a crazy year dating different types of people. The relationships he had during that time were really short-term (started quickly, ended quickly). He fell in love a gazillion times during this transit, but none of them "stuck" for a variety of reasons. There was always SOMETHING that kept him from finding a stable relationship. My ex met me when uranus was transiting conjunct his natal Venus. I'm very Uranian, so it made sense that he would meet someone like me. I was only interested in the relationship as long as it wasn't a commitment (this is how I am in every relationship). Anyway, we were very on-off and never found stability. I met the love of my life during a Uranus sextile Venus transit. IP: Logged |

are you an aries ascendant, or taurus ascendant? If taurus, Venus rules your 1st, so you might change your appearance in some way. My natal Venus is in my 2nd house, too, and during the transit, I started hanging out with a new group of friends and had tons of fun with them. LIke I said, I met the love of my life. I also dated a bunch of other guys. Nothing money-wise happened, but I was still in university at that point. The transit really increased my social life and my personal magnetism. IP: Logged |

JoJo I had similar experience when t.Uranus was conj my Venus. One funny thing that also happened then is I took the reins so to speak for how I would define myself as a woman, no longer let others define me. It might be personal to the sign it was in but I wonder if you're going through that too?IP: Logged |

In a way, yes. I'm not sure if it's tr Uranis doing it or tr Pluto. Because I also have Pluto conjunct Venus right now as well. Talk about my life changing! It has in so many ways that I couldn't begin to describe. IP: Logged |

Currently Transit Uranus square my Venus with my natal Venus opposite Uranus. Its made me feel a lot more distant from my friends over the last few months, like a hermit. IP: Logged |

I'm a Taurus ASC. Funny you should mention meeting someone. There is an Aqua who I've been having this "thing" with lately. We've met, but not quite met. We've seen each other around, but very little direct contact. I know that if we do finally fully meet up, it'll be a huge change for me, and many new people will enter my life. His circle is big (typical Aqua), and it would be very life-changing. Right now, t.Uranus has been wobbling over his n.Venus for awhile, but to the best of my knowledge, he's not seeing anyone. At least not seriously. We do have very *sudden* encounters, but somehow, that final push doesn't yet seem to be there. Also, my n.Uranus is the most aspected planet in my natal. I attract Aquas like crazy. IP: Logged |

I wouldn't be surprised! It happens a lot. Well, the Uranus/Venus sextile for me will go from mid-May, until the end of Sept. Plus, t.Uranus will be stationary *exactly* at 12 degrees, and my n.Venus is 12 degrees. It'll happen again in 2014, too. Anyway, from what I remember hearing, a sextile represents opportunity. If that's right. Guess I'm in for a very interesting 2013. IP: Logged |

This was on my mind OP earlier. TUranus is about to be conjunct my natal Venus. Venus rules my 2nd/8th/9th house. I read that it could mean lucky breaks and such. Or like a "Cinderella" transit. Not sure if that's true though. IP: Logged |
