Chiron in the 8th house represents problems in shared resources. Hence the problems that affect you will most likely take place in an area that is shared by you and your loved ones. Therefore any item or issue which is shared by both you and your partner will face certain difficulties. These issues may range from bank accounts, finances to sex. Sex and money are the most vulnerable targets for problems as both demands a certain amount of sensitivity to begin with. They are like fuel waiting for the fire to catch on. Having a partner who is open, sharing and honest would be the best bet to come out of this phase unscathed. However if such qualities are not present in your parent, you might have to experience more number of difficulties. This is not to say that you will fail but that you will require a greater amount of dedication when tackling these problems. While you may face many problems in your own personal life, Chiron in the 8th house will make you an excellent teacher regarding sex and money. You will make an excellent sex therapist for those in need. You will also be able to help them regarding their finances or any other shared area in their lives. The presence of Chiron in this particular house helps to reveal secrets that were hidden under many layers about yourself and forces you to reconcile with them. By facing these difficulties successfully, you will be able to have a whole new understanding and way of thinking about such matters for the future. Chiron in the 8th house doesn’t necessarily point to only sex or money. Resources shared by both you and another individual. Watch out for those who might end up taking your entire share and leaving you in the dust. Some may coax you into taking care of things by praising you only to run off with your share in the end. By listening to your advice and instinct, you will be able to overcome such problems. IP: Logged |

I have Chiron in 8th house. I also have Jupiter in Leo in 8th house (house ruler). I haven't read much about Chiron but these two placements seem conflicting since Jupiter in Leo is so fortunate and expansive but Chiron is supposed to be some scary wound inflicter D:IP: Logged |

Chiron can also be thought of as an area of insecurity, in the case of the 8th house it could be insecurity about your ability to share resources in a way that's truely fair. You don't want another to take advantage but also afraid you're not giving enough. Little did your Kindergarten teacher know what damage your little classmates have wrough on your developing soul IP: Logged |

I have chiron in8th. The other meaning of this placement doesn't represent my life at all except "the share resource" .My bf let me take care of his properties/real estate because he is from another country , he doesn't have the right to posses them . So his car , condominium, small business are under my name . It's stable one because I actually run that too. I don't think , not only the chiron in 8th but we have a lot of 8th synastry too. - His 8th : my saturn exact conj. his 8th cusp , my sun /mercury/ uranus /pluto are also in 8th. - He has natal Pluto , Uranus in 8th - I have chiron in8th oppose (Mars-Uranus) in 2nd , Mars is my 8th ruler. Actually, one of my oldest and dearest clients has this, so I have leaned a lot about it.It seems like it makes it really hard for you to access your taboo emotions and taboo sexuality. What do you all think? I did not read all the responses, so forgive me if you already answered.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Actually, now that I think about it...I hate sharing and I can be really stingy w/ things but at the same time I am giving. IP: Logged |

Chiron 8H Aries here. I am not fearful of breaking taboos. I have been helpful to to others in dealing with suicide as I have had to cope with it multiple times myself. Also, I actually have had multiple conversations with people who needed help with the sexual/intimate side of the relationship. I think I even saved a marriage once. ------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

Oh wow, 2H Sun/Uranus conjunction opposite 8H Chitin just gave me a eureka/duh moment. 8H is the traditional house of the reproductive organs. I had to have my Aries daughter by c-section. I have a bicornuate uterus and she had no womb to turn (breech ). My ex husband (her father ) is a Scorpio Sun with Aries ascending. ------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

8H is also traditional house of surgery. Pisces in on my 8H cusp. I didn't know until I was on the table that I had this uterine abnormality. I was booked because the amniotic fluid was getting low. My heart was given the estimated due date of 4/20. Her dad who loved his weed. ------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

my ex had chiron in the 8th house. He had no problem with taboo sex at all. ( maybe I should mention that he is sun, venus, mars in scorpio ) But he had intimacy issues. I alwyas though he is a bit stingy with money issues.. especially towards his friends.. IP: Logged |

Yeah, my first thought would be subjective barrier to intimacy, either sexual or emotional. Or someone having more hold of this individual to the point where they can't break off on their own.Britney Spears comes to mind, she has this placement in Taurus with that sign on her 8th and Venus it's ruler in the 4th square to. Pluto. Explains the money issues with her family. IP: Logged |
