I've never been in a serious relationship with either of them. I'm a leo sun, libra asc. Every affair started exactly the same. I'd like to hear aquarius women's opp. on this. Here's generally how it starts: There is some intense sexual attraction from the begining. Even if they are not generally my type, they become my type for the time being. Physical contact and closeness feels amazing with you guys. There is some degree of not going overboard. I dont become obsessed, neither do they. Here's what turns them on, and drives them up the wall. I dont even plan this, but you guys will text, and give off a very cold demeanor. Somehow you open the opportjnity for us Leo's to show our cockiness/confidence. Almost over the top, most girls wouldn't tolerate it, but you guys love it. You like the cockiness and confidence of a guy that feels he can take control, and get what he wants. Truth is, I'm not cocky at all, but somehow aqua women bring it out. From there the sexual attraction deepens. The relationship never does. Kinda like we're both aware of the intense attraction, but somehow know the relationship wont work out, and it just fades. I've dated my fair share of Leo's and I have to say... it always starts out with this intense sexual attraction, exuberance and fun-loving feeling... and then always fades to nothing like you said. To me, my contacts with Leo men are classic 5th house romances. I'm a 5th house Aqua Sun (tightly conjunct Mars and opp. Jupiter in Leo in the 11th). So I have a good amount of Leo energy in my chart as well. I find Leo men generally irresistible, but... never goes anywhere serious and lasting. IP: Logged |

Interestingly enough this seems accurate. I can just imagine how it would all go. The only explanation I can think of is that Aqua and Leo are both fun-loving. Aqua loves confident people and Leo loves that they conquered someone who normally has the rep of being 'distant'. They're also polar opposites so I guess the old saying applies here: "Opposites attract." BUT we all know that that is not true for the long-run, and that couples who are together for a long time show similar personality, interests, and views. Of course there are always exceptions though! I've only dated (and lived with) one Aquarian woman, and Linda Goodman had her pegged: http://luvstrology.blogspot.com/2010/04/aquarius-woman-by-linda-goodman.html However, my BFF is an Aquarian Sun & Venus (agitated by Gemini ascendant), and I think it has a lot to do with why she can't seem to have long term relationships. Depends on their partners. For some an Uranian might exactly be what the doctor prescribed.
I actually know of a Leo-Aquarius-relationship, which is very deep, and has been so for the last 8 years, but both partners have a watery Moon, and his Venus conjuncts her ASC in Cancer and some other stuff. My Aquarius Dad and my Scorpio Mum have been going strong for 40 years now, and he definitely is not detached with her at all; but he has a Taurus-Moon, which opposes her Sun. I also know of a Sag-Aqua-relationship that lasted for quite some years, and I suspect the reason it lasted that long was that both partners needed the same degree of independence.

Yeah that about sums up my relationship with a Leo a few years back. We were so compatible socially/personality wise....and the physical attraction was definitely there... but emotions? Nonexistant! When we parted ways (he moved), we remain flirty friendly via text/fbook - even 5+ years later. I've never met a more cocky personality than the Leo men i Know. the gentlemen above is a prime example, as much as I sometimes wanna be like "you're so full of yourself!" I also find him sorta endearing b/c that's part of our banter. he is a confirmed bachelor, successful business owner, amazing athlete, dedicated Catholic... very much a "catch" on paper but oh his ego needs to be taken down several notches before he would be "equal" to a mortal woman. ------------------ Aqua Sun Gem Moon Aries RIsing IP: Logged |

Aquarius Sun/Leo Moon female here. I may LOVE a Leo ASC, but a solar Leo makes me want to stretch out my Moony claws and deflate his ego a bit. I like the confidence of Leo (hence the attraction to the ASC), but I also like a bit more humility -- I can HELP with that -- really! Here let me . . . IP: Logged | |
