Agree on this resonance.
Just to add another example as per your notes:
-him venus/moon 10th, moon/saturn; me venus/moon capricorn, venus/moon/saturn
-him aries venus/moon, me venus/mars
-him venus/moon/neptune, me pisces sun
-we both have moon/pluto

What about if a man has venus conjunct sun in aquarius, does it mean he would be attracted to sunny leo women?

^ aqua venus conj sun: Stands out for being friendly and knowing a lot of different people. Approachable. Able to converse with him about her (and his) more unusual interests. Not afraid to voice her dissenting opinions, original views. Introduces him to a fascinating new subject or take on things. Fascinating to him, not to anyone else in particular, subjectively he would like to be fascinated. Doesnt have too many traditional inclinations as far as how relationships should be conducted or the activities that the partners should enjoy together. Someone he likes conversing with,

My guess is his aries moon be attracted to a feisty, adventurous, girl but may wish to marry the sweet girl next door type due the cancer venus?
I think his moon sq his venus(cancer)
But his moon sextiles his mars (gemini)

The Moon-Mars sextile only accentuates the Aries theme.
You have to look whether his Moon or Venus have any aspects with Uranus or if his 7th ruler makes any aspects with Uranus.
Look if his Dsc is in Aquarius or Libra.

I notice something:
my dad's moon in scorpio, venus in capricorn
my mom is his ideal woman, physically and emotionally: cap asc, scorpio sun

I know a guy who I am his ideal woman: moon in cap venus in cancer
me: cap asc, sun in cancer

Do you see a pattern here?

Ur man is emotionally fickle and gets bored easily but can be a real sweetheart at times. He likes a woman who can talk up a good conversation, active mentally and physically but in touch with her feminine side.
this is vague but yeah

Exactly! The aspects trump the signs in fact.

I think before this clue you describe we have:

If a guy has only soft aspects to his Sun or Moon in his natal - say Cap Sun trine Virgo Moon, or Gemini Moon trine Neptune, he would be more attracted to women making soft aspects to his luminaries, rather than a conjunction - Taurus and water signs in the first case, air and fire in the second.

The same goes for attraction planets, Venus and Mars.

If a man has Pisces Venus trine Cancer Saturn in his chart, he would be more attracted to Scorpio/Cancer and Earth Mars, Sun, Moon women - he would not be very sensitive to an opposition, conjunction or square energy.

If he has Mars square Neptune or Mars square Venus in natal, he would definitely be most attracted to females making hard aspects to his Mars and/or Venus: conjunction, opposition, square.

If someone has both hard and soft aspects to luminaries and/or attraction planets Venus and Mars, that person is more "picky", he/she needs the partner to bring both types of aspects: the spark will be generated by the hard aspect, the long-term interest by the soft ones.

For example, based on my charts, most people with Sun square Moon aspects have partners with luminaries in hard aspects to their luminaries (usually another square, conjunction or opposition is involved).

Geometry trumps signs, according to my research.

A famous example:

Linda and Paul McCartney:

Paul has a close Moon (Leo) square Venus (Taurus) in his natal. Linda also has a hard aspect to her Moon/Venus, Moon conjunct Venus in Scorpio. Her Venus/Moon conjunction opposes his Venus, his Moon on her MC, everything becomes a cross.

Paul has Mars/Pluto conjunct in natal, but his Mars is also the apex of a Minor triangle. Linda brings her own Pluto to his conjunction (the hard aspect) but also has her planets in his Minor triangle, including her Sun, in soft aspect to his Mars.

Linda has both hard and soft aspects to her Mars - a Mercury opposition and a Jupiter sextile. Paul has his 5th ruler, Uranus semisquare her Mars, but also his Moon trine her Mars.

They also have Sun square Sun in synastry, in tune to their hard aspects to luminaries, not to mention they both have a semisquare pattern between their Sun and Moon in their natals.

Hmmm
His moon biquntile uranus (Scorpio)
Moon conj venus & pluto (libra)
His venus trines uranus
Ruler of the Seventh House in the Fifth House (cancer)
Saturn & TN in seventh house

I have a male cousin with these placements. He was once obsessed with Jennifer Love Hewitt. She's a Pisces sun, cap moon. I've read to be a mans ideal your sun, moon, and ascendant has to have a strong resonance with the mans moon and venus.

Just another example:
My husband has an Aries moon; I have a first house air sun. His moon is conjunct his MC; my moon is in Capricorn. His venus is in Scorpio, my moon is conjunct the cusp of my 8th house. My sun/ascendant is widely trine Pluto.

Moon in Pisces - someone with petite facial features, and sweet. Venus in Cap - loyal, serious, knows their place.

A guy with Venus conj. Saturn, Uranus, trine Jupiter, and sextile Mars?

Moon is square Jupiter and sextile Mercury

You know what's weird… I have my Venus square Saturn, in the 11th house, and in Aries. The only thing I'm missing is a Jupitarian influence or I bet he'd think I was his soul mate. Unless the whole Venus similarities points to us being best friends because our Moon things don't match at all?
