Well, I'm here for awhile and did adapted to the main theme (being a Gemini and all..) - but latter, i found this topic: Does the forum have to be pink!!!??? - and i wanted to do something from that point of view... so, here are the results:----------------------------------------- To install it, you need this "add-on" for your Browser: Firefox: http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stylish/ Google Chrome/Chromium and co: http://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylish/fjnbnpbmkenffdnngjfgmeleoegfcffe?hl=en Opera: http://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/stylish-for-opera/?display=en ...and the Skins/Themes can be installed from here: Mercury-Grey http://userstyles.org/styles/80191/linda-goodman-7thgrey-1-0?r=1355784631 Cyan-Blue: http://userstyles.org/styles/80215/linda-goodman-7thblue Green'ish: http://userstyles.org/styles/80217/linda-goodman-7thgreen?r=1355852834 Turquoise http://userstyles.org/styles/80289/linda-goodman-7thgreenturquoise?r=1355957408 ----------------------------------------- ...just a small gift to this community - since we're in this time of the year!

Well, this is a bit modern yet classical theme... might play around and do at least another version for non-conventional tastes... ^^ but not now, cause it's kinda late. IP: Logged |

blues would be more easy on the eyes, I hate bright white screens. Although your skin is not as brightIP: Logged |

Call me crazy but I actually like the pink/purple look of this site. When I think Lindaland, I think Pink! People are always talking about love and relationships here too. Astro.com has blue/grey forums if you're into that.IP: Logged |

Plain white is hard on eyes - which is why most sites who go with a bright theme - use some shade of grey instead. As for blue - i'm trying something else - so I might try a blue version as well ^^ quote: Originally posted by Randall: So plain!
More like "simple" and that was the idea. ^^ I'll see what i can do about something more complex. quote: Originally posted by mockingbird: I like it. Thank you for the effort.
You're welcome ^^

Straight men often wear pink ties and shirts. There is no such thing as a gay color. Pink is only feminine as it relates to babies. And that is a recent development, because pink used to be for baby boys (it was considered a fiery color) and blue for baby girls (because the Virgin Mary was ofen depicted wearing blue). And thne site isn't pink anyway.IP: Logged |

Someone could add this theme and each user could have the possibility to choose whatever he/she likes.I liked though, I only think the font is too big... IP: Logged |

The font part it's specific to my own settings (own PC/Browser) - i have it zoomed... default it's same as current font/size... so this won't affect your settings. IP: Logged |

I made some changes on the Green and Blue version, changed the color shades so it easier on the eyes (easier to read) and tweaked other color profiles for same reason - would be recommended to reinstall the style for those who installed it before.Blue version: ===
Green'ish version: ...can be installed from same links as above or from page 1 - or you can simply updated it from add-ons page if you have it installed.

...as mentioned before - the font/text size is specific to my browser settings (zoomed in) - your would be same as default, to look exactly like that you'll have to zoom in as well. you can do that with: Ctrl + (in Firefox) As for they Grey Simple version - that's the same, just switched to a darker grey for same reason... ^^^ Ooh I this version nice work! However, I do agree that the site isn't pink. If you go with this awesome template design but kept the color it'd be perfect! At the same time, any color works for me. Someone mentioned we should have avatars too I think that would be a great idea. Just my opinion :] IP: Logged |

Thanks. ^^ I'd rather ignore this subject - maybe it's my Gemini nature, but i was detached of what it represents till others pointed-out - something i already noticed but managed to ignore. This was meant as a gift - and not necesary xmas related... i do things like this sometimes, if it's not wanted or if Randall doesn't like the idea - i can remove them, as simple as that... didn't meant to upset anybody with this gesture. quote: Originally posted by KarkaQueen: Make it turqouise :P
Here: http://userstyles.org/styles/80289/linda-goodman-7thgreenturquoise?r=1355957408 - and don't stick your tongue out in a public place or somebody might cut it off. ^^

Not offended. Purple isn't unmanly; nor is pink, for that matter. But LL is the color that it is (shades of purple) due to Linda. ------------------ "Fall down 100 times, get up 101...this is success." --ME IP: Logged |

That's just it - they don't have to... ^^ There is an add-on for multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera...) - that gives you the option to tweak any page based on your taste (Stylish - check first page)... and there's a site where you can share those styles if others would be interested in using them. "All this is optional" from a user point of view... the web site owner doesn't have to do anything about it... just few clicks from the users side - if they're interested.
