This is what I find interesting! I want to know why vixkymadness sees those things as a turnoff (and I assume you reject those types) whereas I'm like "Oh, that must be because of how they were raised. I guess thatsbjust them." And I would put up with it (I mean, not logically but if I was actually in the situation I probably would put up with it for awhile before having enough.)IP: Logged |

Most probably because I find those traits to be unhealthy , and an indication of mental issues ...And honestly I don't like to waste my time or energy on such.I've never understood why would people find cockiness or being controlling attractive. Mystery is not mind-stimulating as other people might think. If you are trying to keep things for yourself and not wanting to open up, well the first thing that comes to my mind would be you have something to hide that is very bad or shameful. A healthy mystery would be someone who is able to introduce you to places you've never been before , keep up a conversation and leave you wondering what might come next ?! that's the contagious kind of mystery that I want; it's simply a mix of spontaneity and unpredictability... NOT someone who is brooding with a private life and whose only intention is to seduce.

Org, I wasn't saying I found them desire able but AI think I would be more tolerant of those qualities than you is all. I'm also not saying you should be tolerant but I wonder if there's an astrological explanation for it.IP: Logged |

I have mars conj ascendant (1 degree orb), trine moon and sextile sun and venus. I don't think I have sex appeal but I do know that men try to own me. And when that doesn't work I am usually called every bad name in the book.IP: Logged |

@vicky - The first thing I noticed was Mars opp. Lilith. Doesn't Lilith rule sex and the like? She's like a nymph right? Not just Mars but your Sun is square Lilith, and making a hard aspect to Mars. Now that makes sense why cockiness, etc. is such a turn off to you. I don't think my Sun aspects Mars at all, and if it does it's sextile. Venus is sextile in my chart too. However, we both share Venus square Saturn and Mercury square Neptune, which I thought were my culprits to tolerating that kind of behavior. IP: Logged |

being a saturn-venus square fella, automatically got me connected on a deeper level with you  does your venus aspect your moon ? I think this gives a n empathy and tolerance IP: Logged |

You're a fella? Not that it matters. No, Venus doesn't aspect my moon. I have nothing feminine like that. I swear, I was a man in my past life and I'm paying for it in my chart now. What I do have for empathy and tolerance is Moon trining Neptune and Uranus, and also Mars and Jupiter in the 12H. Let's - see Jupiter in Sextile with ASC - implies growth and charisma in terms of public image - but in terms of physical traits - you also have the tendency to gain weight if you're not careful. The planet that rules the sign of the progressed Ascendant becomes the person's ruler.
