Hi all,What aspects in a chart would indicate that someone is doomed to singledom? I'll be turning 40 this year and have only had 3 relationships (yes just 3!) in my life - one at college that lasted a year, then a 5 year partnership with a guy I lived with who turned out to be a violent abusive alcoholic who made my life hell, and then a brief 3 month fling. I have now been single for 12 years The loneliness and the the rejection is killing me. Is there anything in a natal chart that says 'last turkey in the shop'? I have asteroid Sedna in the 7th house which I've read could indicate an abusive relationship before the first Saturn return - and this has certainly been true for me, but are there any aspects in a natal that would suggest that I'm doomed to go it alone, and can anyone see any of these in my chart? Are there any aspects to suggest that my luck will change? IP: Logged |

Chokes "beloved" ahaha omg. Ohhhh that's spooky though, the new person says they have a Leo Artemis and Taurus AC too, but they claim to be a Gemini...I took up Greek names because it's different and kinda fun...no real reason in actuality, IP: Logged |

As per Mathematical Astrology with Equal House System, there are 3 big challenges in the chart: 1. Pluto, the Ruler of 7th House Aries is in 12th House of Loss, and squares Chart Ruler Venus in Cancer EXACT. Fated Loss from or in the matter of relationships that can help establish a home and family (Cancerian Themes). This aspect weakens or stops the moment you choose to Transform yourself into a much better version of your own Self. By choosing transformation, Pluto will start helping than hurting. 2. Saturn square Mars, makes success in that which excites us or drives us very difficult. 3. Saturn conjunct APHORDITE: Restricts the Mind Pattern of feeling attractive. There is a subconscious thread running in your head about being rejected, unwanted and unattractive. This attracts situations that can make you act in a way to become more unattractive to a majority of prospective partners. Weight gain is a typical problem. There is a Radical and Pragmatic Solution. You have Uranus trine Sun and Venus in 9th House. You have a UK Passport. There is a 100 million long queue of foreign men ready to give an arm and a leg to marry a UK Girl. Perhaps your dream lover is in another Continent? I am not saying you cannot get a British guy but sometimes an "Out of the Box" idea positively transforms Life. ------------------ Astrology Articles New Services and short readings IP: Logged |

I have been single all my life. No boyfriend since birth, not even a mutual understanding with any of the men I liked. I have 4h Venus squared by a Uranus-Neptune-NN conjunction in the 7th. Saturn in the 8th also trines my Venus. Transit-wise, I have a t-square with Capricorn Pluto in the 7th as the apex, both squaring my natal 4h Libra Venus and 10h t. Aries Uranus. Sucks to be me. Lol XDD I'm not familiar with the asteroids, though. All I know is I have Capricorn Juno in the 8th conjunct my Aquarius Saturn. IP: Logged |

Hi allThanks for all your replies, and sorry if it came across all doom n gloom - it can just get a little frustrating at times. Also apologies if this is looking more like it should be in the personal readings section... IQ - thanks for your insight. It's interesting that you mention transformation as I'm beginning to wonder if that plays some major role. The chart I uploaded didn't contain too much info, but I mentioned Sedna in the 7th. Well, this forms a rather gnarly-looking grand square with PHOLUS, IXION conj QUAOAR and EROS. It probably doesn't help that NESSUS is also conj SATURN/APHRODITE too! From what I've read recently it seems that Pholus, Ixion and Quaoar all have similar themes regarding changes, transformation and karma, so with it being a milestone year (40th), I thought I'd have a look at my progressed chart to see how things are coming along. To my (untrained) eye my progressed chart looks rather more positive, perhaps even a little dramatic. If you have a few spare moments, I'd be grateful if you could take a quick look and let me know what you think. Natal: Progessed: Thanks again to everyone for all your relplies xx

Saturn is square the ruler of your 7th house, Mars. This can indicate difficulty in relationships, loneliness, etc.. There may be many blockages/obstacles in your love life. Venus square Pluto indicates that you attract very intense, but fated, relationships. Saturn conjunct Sun in your 8th... any fear of intimacy or closeness on your part? VEnus is conjunct your Saturn, as well. This can indicate fear in regards to relationships: fear of closeness, fear of intimacy, fear of change, etc.. This is very powerful, especially when you factor in the square from Pluto. You also have Venus and Mercury on your South Node. The Venus conjunction is kinda wide, but anyway, this can certainly indicate difficulty in relationships. The desire for a relationship is there, but your timing may be off, etc. It indicates past-life karma in regards to your relationships. IP: Logged |

Thanks Starfairy. I guess it's not looking too hopeful I do have quite a bit of fear re getting close to someone - 5 years of domestic abuse does take a bit of shaking off!. My problem is not so much this though, (I've moved on, got my career sorted, raised my son), my problem is that I never meet anyone - well, no-one I fancy anyway! It's like I'm the invisible woman. I watched friends meet partners, hook up, settle down, and its like I'm the one left outside the restaurant with my nose pressed against the glass watching everyone inside having a nice time whilst I'm always left out in the cold. It does look as though the odds are stacked against me in my natal chart - bad karma, I guess. Is there even the slightest glimmer of hope or is it truly my lot to go it alone for the rest of this lifetime? I'm not an ugly person - well, not too ugly I don't smell, I'm not, as IQ suggested, prone to deliberately sabotaging my looks by gaining excess pounds. I'm educated, articulate, and generally quite a kind and approachable person. Friends (including several males ones) have told me I'm a catch and that they can't understand why I'm still single, so I'm at a loss really *shrugs* Thanks for taking the time to look at my chart IP: Logged |
