Does the sign your 9th house falls in describe your life at college or university? Same with your classmates or the way you study. I'd love to know what it'd been like for you, and if planets and aspects had influence on your attitude towards higher education. What aspects are important here? IP: Logged |

My 9th House is in Scorpio and I have Neptune there. I went pretty much all the way and overboard with the education. IP: Logged |

I have Taurus on the 9th (and also Mercury in Taurus in the 8th). My Venus is in Pisces (6th) square my Moon in Sagittarius (3rd).I'd say that it might be indicative of the way I learn (and think: logically, one block on top of the other, haha), but it definitely didn't describe my classmates or my time at university at all. With all that in mind, I majored in French and International Affairs...but I currently work in Finance/Accounting. IP: Logged |

Pisces cusp, then Neptune Sagittarius in the 5th, yea I had a fun time Took more courses than I had to just for interest's sake. Fell in love with a Buddhist monk once, fellow student on campus. I always did have a roving eye at school, all my school years, never just focused 'only' on the work. Pisces there, I think I was a bit shy since I never chatted with the professors, you know how they usually have a gang of people kissing their behinds and chatting about this/that, never interested me. Also I paid attention to their teaching style, then structured my assignments to what my intuition told me they'd like based on their style. And that is what bugs me about professors in general: could take the same course taught by 10 different professors, and each one you'd get something completely different on the subject. I learned that real quick, and I think that realization kept me a bit detached from the experience, since I knew I was only getting one viewpoint (in a nutshell). Pisces 9th/Neptune Sagittarius, the world's much more broad than just a class at a university ^__^ but I always thought it was cute how they all thought they were really expanding our minds 'for the first time' IP: Logged |

education pretty much takes up my entire life. I'm majoring in interactive design in an art school so im surrounded by creative people. A lot of hard work and hard partying Ironically my 9th house cusp is in capricorn, half of my house is in aquarius. My major is very tech oriented, there a high demand for jobs in this field with all the new technology. IP: Logged |

My 9th is ruled by Aquarius with Uranus in my 7th house and Venus being in my 11th. I always made friends at school and it was more a social experiment jungly gym my whole life rather than a learning place. I never cared about mastering anything in school and can't stand the way school is taught. I can't stand how formulaic everything is and monotonous. Going to school drives me crazy and a lot of the times so do my classmates here because they're not very forward, original, or progressive thinkers. IP: Logged |

The Sun rules my 9th house (Leo on the cusp), which is located in my 12th house, conjunct my Uranus and Ascendant. And my Sun is in Sag.Education is a huge part of my life, and I hope to be going back soon! I have a lot of pride (Leo) in my education. IP: Logged |

Ah! LOVED college. So much, that I've pretty much never left! I hated high school, but once I hit college, I was in heaven.9th house, Cap. Saturn in my 11th. I never socialized in school. Big surprise! (n.Sat 11th) I felt terribly self-conscious that the other students had so much more $$ than I did. I had to work through college, unlike quite a few of them. (I went to a major university on the west coast). Not much free time to socialize, either. Still, I loved the atmosphere, and I love college campuses. I'm still taking classes to this day, and I'm holding out hope to finally get that 2nd Bachelors. IP: Logged |

I have a 9th house Aquarius, with the moon and PoF in it. Uranus is in Capricorn, 7th house and it sextiles my moon. Mars, the ruler of my 11th trines the moon.College life is fun. I made lots of new friends. I was a completely different person than I was during high school. I could say, I was quite lucky Academic-wise until that heavy Pisces stellium entered my 9th this year. It is really giving me a hard time. :/ IP: Logged |

Saturn in Capricorn rules 9th Sun and Jupiter opposite Saturn Asc trine Saturn I am not opposed to higher education, any education after the required standard i.e. Elementary and H.S. In university I was a loner in the sense that I hated having to work with others i.e. group study with classmates. Primarily because there was always someone that didn't want to do their portion of the work or people wanted to study late at night on campus which was inconvenient. I took a lot of electives with a heavy course load, the elective classes were more interesting. During my first few years I mainly socialized with friends from H.S. and people I made friends with outside of "school" i.e. work place and groups outside of campus. IP: Logged |

Both my 9th house and 3rd house rulers are conjunct in the twelfth house in Libra. Very close conjunction, less than two degrees. I have had all kinds of obstacles when it comes to earning my college degree. I have not completed it. The rulers of these two houses are Mercury and Jupiter. Seems like it would be easy but the twelfth house makes it a bit complicated. Things always run different in house twelve.IP: Logged |

Aww thanks I hope so. I'm thinking prosecutor Omg you'd be a great lawyer! With all that Gemini, you're a quick thinker and awesome debater. I remember you also have Jupiter in your 3rd? When I saw your chart, I thought you'd make a really great writer or salesperson. Or teacher. IP: Logged |
