My mom is a Pisces Moon. I get along great with them but they can be a tad overly-sensitive sometimes. I love them though! What do you want to know?IP: Logged |

One of my friends is a Taurus with a Pisces moon. She is very creative, and a dreamer, also very spiritual. I like that she is always there to help others without expectation, and she has a lot of compassion for people. What I can't stand is I see how she tries to manipulate situations to her liking but plays innocent, or somehow wiggles into justifying her reasoning. She hides her emotions very well too and rarely lets anyone see her cry. Nice, but fishy! Lol. I wish I knew her without her Gemini placements because I think those are much more of the culprit than her Pisces moon.IP: Logged |

I kinda guffawed quietly to myself when I read this...trust me, it's the Pisces Moon doing it, not the Gemini. My former friend was the same way.
She'd get on the computer and whine and cry to me all day about how awful her husband supposedly is and how miserable he was making her and talking to strange guys on the internet and cracking sexual/dirty jokes with them...while she was living off of her husband while he went out and busted his hump providing for her. All she did was sit on her butt all day, didn't work for most of that time - her "excuse" was that she couldn't do anything with her college degree (even though my sister has a degree in the same major and had no problems finding a well-paying job and living in a decent apartment with a nice car and money to blow on vacations overseas). At one point I flat out asked Pisces-Moon-ex-friend why she wouldn't leave her husband and she told me that in a few years she'd qualify for alimony...last I heard she was mentioning something about them buying a house together...then after that I found out she's messing around with an ex-boyfriend of mine or something. They aren't all bad - I've known other Pisces Moons and in general their good side is very sweet - but the bad side of them can be exactlyyy like you just said. IP: Logged |

My mom has Cap sun. I'm a Gemini with a Scorpio Moon. She cares A LOT about how other people feel and she gets really upset when people are mean to other people (not her, she doesn't care what they think of her). My sense of humor annoys her sometimes because if I think somethings funny, I say it, I don't care whose feelings I hurt. She always puts other people before herself even if she doesn't like them, she's just a very considerate, giving person and I would say that even if she wasn't my Mom. She's a hard worker too and I think the creative side that comes from her moon has helped her get far with her career. I wouldn't call my Mom manipulative, but she can be a martyr sometimes. She takes on all these tasks and refuses to ask for/let anyone help her and then she feels like she has the weight of the world on her shoulders! She doesn't do this often but when she does it can be very annoying! IP: Logged |

I'm a pisces moon. I am a sensitive person, my instincts and intuitions are strong. It's very easy for me to read people. It's not easy for me to maintain a stable mood ( moon square sun-uranus conjunction )IP: Logged |

Please look at my comment in this thread: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/218960.html I go into a lot about Pisces Moon there. I'm a woman with that placement and have spent a lot of time studying it, not to mention living with it. As I say in that it's a complicated placement. What you see is usually only half the story. As for myself, I am terribly sensitive, intuitive, compassionate to a fault. I have BIG emotions, like tsunami-sized ones that can exhaust me, but they're so deep down that most people never detect them and think I'm just this shallow, airy Gemini. Between my Gemini placements and Pisces moon, I'm exceptionally good at sensing nuances and patterns other people don't pick up on. I'm prone to attract bad people--parasites and vampires, I like to call them. I do daydream a lot and like escapist recreation, like RPGs. I'm also a musician who plays several insturments and style and I compose my own music (my Pisces moon quintiles my Gemini Venus). IP: Logged |

Have you noticed that Pisces moons can appear very shallow? I know I do and most people think I am as well. Its only becaause If I didnt control my emotions id be all over the place all the time. I know they say we are sensi and thats true but half the time we dont even show our whole/real selves to people. even my friends. people often act suprised at how emo I amI have more brb IP: Logged |

I've noticed the same. My FB feed blows up with birthdays around Saggie-time, and I keep finding Saggie Moons and Ascs when I do the charts of friends and loved ones. The energy's just fun And much more deep/sensitive than people give it credit for. ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. my experience with this placement is whenever you have pisces moon in a woman chart the vast majority of them will be sweet and beautiful even if they have very serious sun , i know 2leo women one virgo and one capricorn with this placement they all share the sweetness!.another thing about this placement is they don't care much about materialistic things which i like hate shallow people , so my new camaro ss won't impress them that much . thats just my little exprience have a nice day IP: Logged |

Wow, nice to see several other fellow taurus sun, pisces moon placements Having moon in pisces can be quite intense at times. I've noticed that emotions run high with me and I tend to hold onto past events that left me emotionally unstable and broken. IP: Logged |

This is true, because these signs have more similarities than we think: 1a. Pisces' esoteric ruler is Jupiter, which modernly rules Sag. This makes both of them 'visionaries' in their own way. 1b. Both are mutable signs. 2. They share one common trait: dreamers. 3. Both signs are intuitive, Sags being known for foresight and Pisces for being empathic. Though they are elemental opposites, I think those similarities (and more) makes it easy for these signs to get along. IP: Logged |

I'm a Pisces Moon I'm very sensitive, but most people wouldn't pick up on that right away since I tend to give the impression that I'm very strong (Leo Sun). I am very much the dreamer, spiritual, and an idealist, perhaps to a fault. I tend to hold on to past hurts for a long time, which I'm trying to not do as much. I am also very intuitive, and I admit that I can also be quite moody (another thing I'm trying to work on). But I think it all boils down to the fact that I just feel very deeply, and once I'm emotionally invested in something it's hard for me to let go.------------------ *~Leo Sun~*~Pisces Moon~*~Libra Rising~* IP: Logged |

Pisces moon is deeply easily wounded. I actually can't think of a WORSE placement for a Pisces than a Sagittarius sun or Mercury. I know that when I was living with a Sag sun conjunct moon, I was crying basically 24/7. Pisces moon in particular is just not strong enough for such an inconsiderate sign (no offense).IP: Logged |

This is a tough placement. I know we get a lot of credit for having compassionate instincts but I think when push comes to shove and it comes down to actually getting altruistic things done, we don't. The moon absorbs the environment too much, so we need to be in happy, positive surroundings. If we're around people who are sick or broken or impoverished it will literally destroy our spirits. So I think you're far more likely to find a Pisces SUN or Virgo sun working as, say, a social worker, or playing the martyr role of Mother Teresa IRL than a Pisces moon.I think the one thing we all have in common is the need to withdraw from the world at times for self-nurture. The nature of people and how it comes up against our ideals can really get us down sometimes. IP: Logged |

^ Pisces Suns have that, too, actually. At least I do. I become what I'm around and really have to watch my surroundings and companions. Do you have the thing, too, when you can watch the same movie with different people and come away feeling completely differently about it depending on their reactions to it? IP: Logged |

1a.)Esoteric Astrology and Western Tropical Astrology are two totalllyyyy different disciplines, with different rules and rulerships and everything. Saying that Sag and Pisces are the same is like saying apples and oranges are exactly the same because they're both fruit, even though they're totally different types with totally different tastes and consistencies.
1b.)This is true, but mutuable fire and mutable water are very very different. 2.) Pisces is a dreamer true - which makes sense when you factor in its being ruled by the planet associated with dreams (Neptune). Saggitarius is optimistic. Their optimism can make them seem like a dreamer to the more cynical type but there's a marked difference between believing that everything will turn out all right in the end, and just having your head totally in the clouds. Jupiter, Sag's ruler, has to do with humor and optimism along with philosophy, religion, spirituality and higher learning. 3.) Pisces is intuitive, yes - all the water signs are, and again, Pisces' association with Neptune, a planet known for being associated also with psychic ability, speaks to this. Sagittarius isn't a particularly intuitive sign though, no. They may have an interest in philosophy, the spiritual, and the metaphysical - they love to learn, but the sign and it's ruling planet don't have anything to do with actual intuition and psychic ability. In terms of how the signs get on? Honestly, I've known enough Pisces-prominent people (family, friends, boyfriends) to say that Pisces and Sag is probably one of the worst matches, because Sagittarius is by nature, wayyyyy too blunt for Pisces. Sags don't really think before speaking and aren't the most empathetic sign out there, and Pisces is hyper-sensitive, so when you combine the two, someone's going to get hurt and it won't be the Sag... Emotionally intuitive, but every subject I've come across with a Pisces moon is a liar, in one way, shape or form. That may change with the next subject I meet with a Pisces moon, but of the 24 I have on file that I've had thepleasure to meet (displeasure?) none of them have been great. Some traits I've noticed with them: * Tendency to twist the truth. * Spiritual, but uses spirituality as a scapegoat to their flaws. <-- THIS ****** me off the most. * Emotionally intuitive, yes, and while they can advertise themselves as logical, it's really just a front. It's all that Neptune. * Only 1 out of the 24 subjects I know with a Moon in Pisces went far in life. The others thought that they were"done" with life. At first, I thought this was because of their Moon being closer to Aries, or being closer to Aquarius (closer to 0 or closer to 30 degrees). However discovered through experience that this is irrelevant. The ONE subject I know with Moon in Pisces ended up getting a master's degree in English, while the other 23 are either getting drugged up on drugs, legal or otherwise. Speaking of drugs, can you say, ESCAPISM? All 24 subjects can't focus on reality. Maybe they can't handle my 3 capricorn planets in the first house, but that just begs the question, is that to imply that my entire generation (many whom i graduated with have 3-6 planets in Capricorn) can't function properly with someone with a Moon in Pisces? I should note, that I have a Moon in Virgo, which obviously opposes Neptune. While your go-to might be to say that I am too focused on the individual, that begs the question. My Virgo moon squares my Venus in Sagittarius in the 12th house. I design software for video game and movie technology (Neptunian stuff) but I always do it with integrity. How can you not? If I fudge something, a customer will know if/when a software bug or glitch appears during use. Therefore, I am inclined to deduce that regardless of Virgo or Pisces moon, or any moon, ALL subjects should be capable of telling the truth, Neptunian influence or not. Not coming forward with the truth is just living the "shadow" side of your sign(s). I need to meet more people with Pisces Moon that aren'tliving the shadow. IP: Logged |
