I have a friend that I've known for a long time, nine years, and his Venus in Scorpio is exactly opposite my Saturn in Taurus. We are often miserable with each other yet we stay friends anyway.

Well I guess if you have both and are in a relationship with that person it can be great.

I know pluto is the obsessive, can't do without you, need to be with someone. Thankfully I got over that phase (though it took me quite some time). But I've been wondering what makes it so impossible to just forget about some people. Even when they're miles away, or haven't seen them or talked to them in a long while, the thought of them is still there.

So Saturn is responsible for that kind of things? Mixed with pluto I can definitely see how that could make it especially difficult to just forget.
What if it's one sided though? is it more likely to be the Saturn/pluto or planet person?
Is Saturn responsible of this because it's part of their "karma" or actually what they need to go through to learn their lesson?

^^^ Nodes conjuncting nodes, especially if they are opposite. It's fate! But, at the same time, it's probably not such a good contact since, what it really means, is we pull each other away from what we should be accomplishing in life...it sounds more like an undoing thing.

With this same person, I have one more Saturn contact but the orb is around four degrees wide and I am not sure how close it should be in synastry. We have a Sun conjunct Saturn in Virgo, my sun his Saturn, so you see, the chart is heavy on the Saturn contacts. Our friendship is wrought with insecurities and tension a lot of the time yet we still keep in touch. Our suns are square by the same orb square Saturn in Virgo, too. Doomed friendship lol.

Now that I think about it, with these aspects, it's probably some karmic thing from a past life. It's so strange how the Nodes and Saturn figure into it.

And on top of all this, he has several Neptune conjunctions involving the sun and I have the exact Neptune opposition involving the moon.

It shows the true North Node opposite the planet Pluto when I tell it to show all aspects in the extended chart selection. It doesn't show the aspects the the South Node though but since it conjuncts Pluto, it would be the same as the ones for that planet. If there aren't any conjunctions, you just assume it will square, trine, sextile anything the North Node does. Right?

This is a bit confusing to me.I've tried searching for how to find SN contacts. SN in vedic is ketu that's why I know where to find it in my chart.The south node is to the opposite end of the axis.If NN is in libra,SN would be in aries.But no where can I find my SN natal aspects.So if I have NN square leo venus,is my SN making an aspect with venus?
And if I have sun square NN (his) in synastry, (his SN is in aries) what aspect would it be making to my leo sun?

Yes, I am pretty sure that's a t square. Any planet square your north node naturally squares your south, so it creates the t square formation, the opposition with both ends square a third planet. It will always do this with any planet the North Node squares.
With the easy aspects, one end will trine the planet in the same element while it sextiles the opposite end creating the easy opposition which will make the effects of the configuration (north node naturally opposes south creating the natural tension which is why it's considered bad, I guess) easier to deal with. The conjunction of a planet at one end will always oppose the other. So, if you have a Jupiter conjunction of your north node, it will oppose the south, creating the urge to overdo what is indicated by the south node.

The best aspects for the nodes are the trines and sextiles. I have them with Neptune, it trines the north node, sextiles the south. It helps me with Piscean ideals of imagination, empathy, emotional release, forgiveness, acceptance, non judgment, worry-free. I have the worry-free quality in excess. It also keeps the Virgo critic tamed. I think what it really does is create a very easy going streak in me, perhaps too much so. I want to just go with the flow and sorta mellow out a a lot, can get really into things in that Piscean way, you know?

I have all squares with NN. Mercury,Venus and Saturn square NN,therefore square SN too right. Virgo mars sextile NN.I don't suppose that brings much help to lessen the strain of the squares. (shrug)

My sis is right now obsessed with her ex husband, she is suffering a lot ebcause she just cant get him out of her head! They met 2 years ago and married some months later. And divorced in less than 2 years. He left her because it got overwhelming.
