@lulz wow, your reader sounds pretty cool, a triple dragon lol. What effect would that have, three or all in the same sign? The pillars 'rule' certain aspects of our life too, right?

she's okay it doesn't really matter it's not like a stellium. i get enslaved by dragons. i don't like their effect on me. my rat uncle got enslaved by a dragon he is also a taurus rat. he's so whipped now. he'll do everything for this girl. before women would do things for him now it's the other way around.

u have to check for internal clashes. that's at least basic. ppl with clashes natally have harder lives from what i observed.

i have a lot of stars but also a lot of external. nice car bumpy road.

I guess I don't have clashing animals..? 3 of them are on the same side. The tiger is the odd one out haha.

Thanks for the info, btw! Are you Chinese-Filipino? You seem to know so much about Chinese astro.

Not necessarily. It has no more influence over your appearance than the other signs. Personally, in my opinion, the year is the one that has the most influence on your appearance and the rest just describe various sides to your personality. Angelina Jolie can be considered an exception because she has only the year in the sign of the rabbit/cat while the rest of her signs are in the snake. In my opinion she STILL even looks more like a cold cat/rabbit than a slinky Snake, though the snake in her is quite obvious.

More info: http://astrologizeme.com/e-ascen.shtml
ie note the part where it says erronously termed "Ascendant"

Ps I'll do the dog next.

Something else to take note of: If you know someone who strongly resembles someone else, by golly, check their chinese sign! They're most likely the same chinese sign! Also if you're born in december january or february you are most likely the previous sign of your birth year. Check what your sign is on astrologizeme.com to make sure.

Also, you should take signs belonging to the same group (trined signs) and soulmate signs into consideration because they are going to share similarities in appearance. Read here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/215860.html

For example: The pig, cat/rabbit, and goat/sheep being water signs, are going to look soft and sensitive but somewhat detached/guarded.
The rat, dragon, and monkey being fire signs are going to look mischevious and playful. The snake/ox/rooster being earth signs are going to look calm, sweet, and somewhat reserved as well as intense. And the horse, tiger, and dog being air signs are going to look more "cerebral" and in their heads.

Haha, that's true, I do stay on my guard around you.

If you're asking, my ascendant is in Aries at 23 degrees. My Mars is in Aqua at 20.

it's okay. i understand.

nah i was asking your mars... interesting it's aqua... coz my friend thinks mars factors in the description of the signs...

for example rat years have a long span of mars in scorpio/ jupiter in cap. you combine the 2 and u can see the rat in a way.

dragons. jupiter in gem, mars in aries. (the ones i know) it sorta describes the dragon IMO.

The Dog

Hmm.. I haven't met many dogs. But the 3 I have known in person are extremely calm people. Their face seems somewhat expressionless to me. That's why I confuse them with the Rat and Rabbit/Cat...because they all have cold light colored eyes that are rather expressionless. I think Dogs have weird faces. I've noticed a tendency for cheekbones to be pronounced, for the face to be square, and for the eyebrows to be bushy or stand out in some way. One thing that they all have in common is that they all have the same plain "bored" direct gaze. Admittably, this is the hardest chinese sign for me to spot.

And then i remembered she was the sexy witch in hocus pocus and i was like wow lol shes like an angel. And then i saw Nanny McPhee Returns also, and Gyllenhaal is the lead in that and omg her personality is just so charming and lovely and feminine and happy and kind and loving and ahh i could go on and on. haha. but yeah, if i could i would make all my female best friends be from the year of the snake like i am. Ugh. if only some of them weren't so reserved/suspicious/catty.

That explains a lot. I always wondered why I felt more Scorpio-ish. So Snake attitudes are similar to them, eh? I'm not catty, well... the majority of the time I'm not catty. *blush*

Furthermore, if I'm an Aries but a Snake, would that equal kind of a Dragon-like physical make-up?

Yeah i consider snake to be a combo of libra and scorpio because they always need to be loved first abd foremost (libra), they seek to charm others and really need the approval of others (libra) are obsessed with beauty, culture, refinement, fashion, harmony, and are passive and sweet or sometimes overly charming/attention seeking (libra). They are also revengeful, will drop you in a second if you betray them, hold grudges, are competitive, think success is the best revenge, are clingy and can stalk you, are adept investigators, are very wise, are loners, and very studious, have a scary/reserved/mysterious streak, get attached very easily to people, seek security both emotional and financial, go through transformations, feel things very deeply (all scorpio). The quote for the snake is "I feel"
This is the most emotional chinese sign for sure. Very intense. That's why they are the most revengeful. Never betray a snake.

Not at all. The snake is reserved and mysterious while the dragon is beaming with energy and pride which shows in their fiery eyes. The snake seems soft supple yet kind of scary....always feminine, while the dragon is a different creature....a harsher more magical creature with firey eyes and jagged pointy features.

Ohhh okay, so the Snake's look is more rounded. But Aries also have jagged, pointy features. That's why I thought the combinations would produce a Dragon make-up. *Shrug.*

And WOW you really just described me to a "T"!!!! That fits me way more than the Western interpretations of Aries and my Taurus moon, etc.

Maybe you'll have more pointy features than other snakes, but you'll still look like a snake first and foremost. Unless your other pillars are ALL dragon, i dont believe you would resemble a dragon .

And Yes!!! I know! Hehe. Aren't you glad you found chinese astro?

I wanted to do a quick case study in order to capture the essence of each chinese sign.

I will post women who look alike....but they will be of different signs. I feel that this will capture how each can resemble each other but have the features of their sign. If you understand one person from one chinese sign, then you understand all people born under that chinese sign.

Here is Dragon Courteney Cox with her radiantly beaming eyes and reptilian features (skinny nose, hollow cheeks)

Here is Rat Maria Leon with her large greyish cold/bright eyes and her prominent nose and hollow cheeks. Note the resemblance to Courteney, since signs of the same element resemble each other most.

Here is Tigress Demi Moore with her high thin arched eyebrows, thin lips, high plump cheekbones, tall stature, thin curvy muscular physique, and her adamant tiger expression

Here's Dog Jennifer Connely with her calm appearance, thick/prominent eyebrows and symmetrical facial features

And here's the Snake with her shocking appearance and otherworldly looks

Here's the Cat/Rabbit (Stefanja Orlowska) with her large "blank" cat eyes

Here's Horse Ginnifer Goodwin with her "neanderthal gaze" blockish head, squashed down forehead...etc
