the Venus person is allured into the partner's magical 12th house and held a dear captive there, but in NO way the Venus person would admit (willingly) that they have such strong feelings of love and adoration for the 12th house person. No way, jose. Nevah! The 12th person has no idea what the Venus person is feeling/thinking and even if the Venus is gun-pressed to admit their feelings, the 12th house person still would doubt it. Otherwise, the love they feel for each other can be magical, selfless and unconditional but in most cases - no one is ever aware of what the other is feeling or is super suspicious and mistrustful even if Venus opens up and pours it..IP: Logged |

12th & connentions, i have much to say...there are two people who have venus in my 12th i just adore. they have told me the same.one of them told me his feelings too late after i was already in a relationship and i met the other while i was in the same one. i dont know what we were meant to learn from each other but i admire them both.with both of these people , we understood each other really well and there was a connection. i did not have any dreams of them. i also met someone else in between all this somewhere who also had venus in my 12th who i had a lot of weird occurences with. didnt dream of them either. i, how ever, have only dreamt of someone who has moon in my 12th .the other person i have dreamt of has nothing in my 12th. He tries to act like he's not the jealous type but he is. Lol He has trouble verbalizing his feelings but he said he's always been like that. He does tell me how he feels about me. Just not every second. I don't mind though. I don't expect him to pour his heart out every second. He shows me he cares with actions and he has told me twice he is in love with me. IP: Logged |

To get this straight, the "he" you're speaking of is the 12th house person?

I have a venus in capricorn...so yes it is hard for me to let my feelings out.....I don't expect to say I love you...I just assume you should know it by my actions...
but for me on the other hand, I would need some reassurance from my partner.

No he is the Venus in Cancer. I am the 12th house person. My Gemini sun is in my 12th house on the Gemini/Cancer cusp.
He is also a Gemini sun. My north node in Cancer in the 12th conjuncts his venus and mercury.

Oh.My.God.! You're spot on, Orange, it's freaky!! I've experienced this, exactly. Sadly, I was the house person and hopelessly in love, while the Venus person would not admit their feelings even though we both knew they did feel for me, just like I felt for them.. Actually, the guy told me "I love you, *insert my name here*" while we were in class, but we barely knew each other and I didn't know if he was being serious.. later on he denied it said it was a joke (but it wasn't). Long story short, we both loved each other but it didn't work out for various reasons (I suspect fear and insecurity was the main issue - karmic connection). It was beautiful and tragic, and the deepest feelings I ever had. I used to dream about them a lot. Now it doesn't happen that often but I can say that as the house person, I'm almost always affected by someone who has Venus in my 12th and if it aspects some of my planets. I am fascinated by them, and the love I feel is otherworldly. Sigh.. The descriptions of 12th house Venus in synastry always ring true for me, but I'm always the house person, so it totally sucks being so affected by someone who hides their feelings.

This has been my experience as well. I've had their Venus in my 12th house three times (one conjuncting Mars which unfortunately makes it too aggressive for my liking) and it just feels... unbalanced... unequal. At first when I met them I was okay with this because they were cool and mysterious and there was something about them that had me completely enthralled. But afterwards, when we started spending time together it became obvious that the fog surrounding them wasn't going to dissipate. They were able see who I really was... no pretense... no masks and that was scary especially since I only saw snippets of their personality. It's like they were a never ending puzzle and I only got one piece at the time so my imagination was working over time "recreating" them. Now I don't have Pisces placements nor a strong Neptune (according to that Pullen delineation at least) so that felt like an exercise in futility. I begun to put some distance between us since I was growing suspicious of their intentions and because of this it never led to a anything (romantic or otherwise). I also don't think I would have let them around me for so long if I hadn't had my SN conjunct their Venus. That karmic tie forced me to stay put... for a while.IP: Logged |

for everyone who's ever had to go through the Neptunian fog ~ Do you guys think it's possible to have a (happy) relationship with this placement? Looks like it always turns sour.

I'm sorry it didn't end as you wanted, Douxie. Venus in 12th entirely depends on how well both people can handle Neptune. One who never had to deal with neptune before would have it very difficult to submerge themselves past the toes dipping. IP: Logged |

That's exactly what it feels like. I've never experienced Venus in my 12th house until now, but yup... That's what it is like. What's weird to me is that I can't decide if he's intentionally obscuring himself or if it is unintentional based on the nature of his personality. I FEEL like he's controlling his emotions for some reason unknown to me. IP: Logged |

I have this with someone that has their venus/neptune conjunction in my 12th conjunct my neptune...I have had reoccurring dreams about said person for years (15 ). In the beginning the dreams were happening almost nightly, now they happen every couple of months. I harbored a crush on him for 8 years before we went on our first date -which was a disaster. I've since moved on but the dreams are still there although infrequent. I've often wondered if he had/has them too.IP: Logged |
