My Venus/NN midpoint is at Libra/Aries 16'42. The only person who I am aware of that hit this midpoint I was this guy from H.S. I head over heels for many years. I am not sure I can differentiate between all of the midpoints because his Venus not only hit my Venus/NN midpoint but my Venus/MC and Sun/Uranus midpoint as well. http://tribes.tribe.net/asteroid_astrology/thread/c8cf44d1-22e0-49f2-a8e3-0159e460ab4a IP: Logged |

Thanks for that and the link, Ail. I'll glance what it is in a bit. Funny that we share the midpoint spot and you'd be the first to address it here now. IP: Logged |

However, for some reason I would associate midpoint of passion more with Venus/Pluto.
My own Venus/Mars-mp is on 20 Sagittarius, and has been heavily activated by important planets (through conjunction or square), when I developed crushlike feelings. The planet in question usually describing the nature of the crush.
The first time I fell, his Venus squared my Venus/Mars-mp (he was a Libra). SEcond time around his Mars squared my Venus/Mars-mp, it definitely was an intense sexual attraction on my side (and an unrequited one). Does even work with celebrities. As I mentioned, in the case of Mr Law his Mercury conjuncts my Venus/Mars-mp by 0°09 (his KARMA is there as well). The most outstanding thing that struck me about him was his voice,w hich fits the Mercurial vibe I think. With a more present crush, it is his Neptune exactly conjunct my Venus/Mars-mp. Neptune also is his chartruler, however this time it is more vague; you know there is something there, but you can`t just grasp it somehow.

Mine is at 1°55 Aries. Gosh I kind of hate how that validated my attraction to Arians I know of many but don't think I've ever met someone that had a planet at that specific degree before, even within a 5° range.. perhaps it's for the best given this particular midpoint is prone to *cough* carnal pleasures.Cue my complete and utter shock at my Moon/Pluto midpoint being at 0°34 goat, though IP: Logged |

Fascinating! My Ex Venus/Mars midpoint conjuncts my PSYCHE and his SUN which ALL squares my Venus, Mars and Venus/Mars midpoint. His Venus-Pluto sextiles my Venus-Mars and his Mars-Valentine conjuncts my Neptune in the 1st and trines my Venus-Mars. Apparently I also like it when someone's Sun conjuncts their Venus-Mars midpoint since both my ex and my husband have this. I guess it resonates well with me having venus conjunct mars in Leo. Mr. Aqua's Venus/Mars midpoint and Moon/Venus midpoint opposes exact my Venus as well as my Mars and Venus/Mars midpoint and his Sun/Moon midpoint opposes by 1d my Mercury which rules my 7th. My husband's Sun-Moon midpoint conjuncts my Venus. IP: Logged |

Hm. Mine is conjunct my Pallas at 29 Aquarius (Pallas is at 1 Pisces).I'm definitely attracted to *some* Aqua guys, but it's not really a theme. And none of them had anything at 29* that I'm aware of. I'm not remotely attracted to Pisces guys, though. Not even the early ones. At least not in real life. Any Capricorn Suns I've dated haven't had any Aqua placements that I'm aware of, either. Hm. IP: Logged |

No, I was thinking of that as well. I don't feel even remotely attracted to them, either! Weird, right? My first real boyfriend was at 29 Leo, but I wasn't as attracted to him as I was interested in his sense of humor, and the fact that he showed me a lot of cool things as far as music and the culture I was interested in at the time. If venus/mars is the point of passion would venus/pluto be the point of desire or a second point of passion ?IP: Logged |

What are the difference in energies between conjuction, opposition and square? My Venus/Mars midpoint falls at 3deg Pisces/Virgo. It opposes their Virgo Sun. (hmm just realized the full moon that took place a few days ago hit this point) They have Venus/Mars midpoint at 29deg Virgo/Pisces. My Sun is at 29deg Pisces IP: Logged |

That's a good idea! Since I'm more Plutonian than I am Martian, maybe I should look at that. ...... Eh... Venus/Pluto is at 5 Capricorn for me, which is conjunct my Vertex. I've dated some Caps, and one Cancer, but none that were just "it" for me. IP: Logged |

Good question Cafeastrology says... quote: Note that with midpoints, it is customary to consider other planets and points that form the following aspects to the midpoint: conjunction, opposition, square, semi-square, and sesquiquadrature.
http://www.cafeastrology.com/sunmoonmidpoint.html I think they count as equal (?) quote: Originally posted by 3l3n: My Venus/Mars midpoint falls at 3deg Pisces/Virgo. It opposes their Virgo Sun. I did a little more research and it seems that they could be equal in energies. The conjuctions and oppositions are mostly felt. The opposition/s in our case definitely brings out an unavoidable irritating passionate attraction. So, it makes me think that the opposition may be the aspect that triggers the irritation' between us IP: Logged |
