Love libra moons as friends. Watch out though. They can be flirts. They are called the courtesan moon for a reason.

The other thing I notice about my mom is that she loooves beautiful people. Like, she actually loses her breath and will fawn over a beautiful person. When I was in high school, there was a girl I'd had a falling out with. My mom came up to school one day and randomly saw that girl (who'd grown quite nicely), and fawned all over her. And I'm like, are you serious right now? She and I nearly got into a fight and you're hugging her? WTF

My sister, although she tries to pretend like it's not true, likes being beautiful and acknowledges beautiful people, but LOVES beautiful things and surroundings.

Gotta love Venus, lol

Beauty delights me and I'm not ashamed to admit it But that doesn't mean I could like/love someone just because they're beautiful and despite their ugly inside. Funny thread btw.

I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

do you think a libra moon could be compatible with a taurus moon synastry-wise?

I'm a Scorpio female with Taurus Ascendant and Moon in Libra.

After reading this entire thread, only about 40% is accurate. You can't generalize placements because there is always an aspect or house placement around the corner ready to alter its original position.

As Libra moon female, I am very intellectual, moody, and very obsessed with my appearance BUT in no way shape or form am I superficial or fake as many of you pinned to this moon placement. I do have Moon trine Saturn along with Mercury, Venus, Jupiter in Scorpio all conjunct so I'm sure this has a lot to do with it.

I believe Libra moons are misunderstood just like any other sign. I will agree that we can come off as fickle only because we care a lot for thers and whether or not they're comfortable with us. We can adjust our personalities to fit the person in question at the moment and I used to look at this as a bad thing until I realized it's just our way of adjusting to different social settings. We adjust to accommodate the people we around to make them feel as comfortable as possible. We have a lot of compassion and warm feelings towards people in general because we can't help but always find the good in people, inside and out. We are moody because a lot of the time, our expectations aren't reality and everyone will eventually let you down in one way or another. We love hard. Now whether it's a superficial type love depends on the rest of the chart.

And boring? Where do you get that a Libra moon in boring?! Taurus moon is like a stick in the mood. Taurus is boring and I can see that through my ASC. I'm very cautious in new surroundings but a major goofball and charismatic individual around my closest family and friends or people I feel comfortable around. Libra moons are vibrant, easy-going, and spontaneous. We're charming and beautiful. There is nothing boring about a Libra moon. Pin that one on Taurus.

I attract mostly Taurus and Scorpio men or men heavily influenced by these signs and I love Taurus moon anything. Taurus can be boring, but I think they're just misunderstood. They rarely ever open completely to anyone and if they do, it's still some sort of reserve in their interaction with you. It's comforting but annoying to a heavily Scorpionic individual like myself who wants to own their partner's soul, inside and out They're not boring. They just like doing tranquil activities and things that bring them the most peace and many people find those activities boring. A Taurus moon would rather cuddle up with a good book under a tree, enjoying nature while say an Aries moon would like to do something challenging or that gives you an adrenaline rush like skinny dipping. It all depends on your definition of boring. Me having a dominant mars and mars being my most aspected planet in my chart, I can enjoy both sides. It all depends on your definition of fun and boring.

I do agree that Tuarus moons are a lot more calmer and level-headed in emotional crisis because they're a fixed sign vs Libra who is an air sign. Tuarus stays put becuase that is their nature. Libra is flighty and would prefer to move on to the next "feel good" station because that is their nature. One isn't better or more positive than the other. It all depends on your preferences and what you value. Some people would prefer many different adventures with one partner, LIBRA. Others would prefer one consistent adventure with one partner, Tuarus. *Here's my Libra moon Talking* It's all about balance and whethee you need more stability or more excitement to be content in a partnership.

I do disagree on the selfishness mentioned on behalf of Libra moons. Libras value companionship so it's natural for us to give and share because that's what you do with the "buddy system". We're very sociable and love to make people feel good and apart of that is giving and receiving. Tuarus moons on the other hand, could care less as mentioned in a previous post. They're not interested in making others feel good at the expence of their own feelings. Libras are more self-sacrificing than Tuarus. Tuarus will leave you high and dry without warning if necessary. Nothingg will disrupt their peace. Libra on the other hand, is resilient in the since that we'll put up with a lot more just because we value the partnership and want to keep you around. We are able to detach and look at things from up top, the bigger picture so we can make more effecive decisions. Tuarus moons are sort of firmly rooted in one spot from the inside. Their world view on social interractions and relating to others are limited because they are very self-involved which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It all goes back to balance which we all need as human beings. Too much or too little of anything in life is never a good thing.

I'm a Scorpio with a Libra moon and I dated a Taurus with a Taurus moon and I think we were compatible in the area of VENUS-related areas, but my moon ultimately made a tight quincunx to his Sun so my emotions were foreign to him although we shared common ground. He never understood me and vice versa. But this good also be because of out horrible composite.

personally.. I think inconjunct signs are very turbulent.. and this comes from me being a libra and the draw/attraction towards Taurus and pisces would make sense..considering all three seem like peace loving and aesthetically drawn signs.. but they just don't work out for me in a close relationship type way.

so I think this applies to moons as well of course when just considering the energies and signs were working with..because although Taurus and libra are both venus ruled and fairly easy going, the expression of venus in cardinal air vs fixed earth can pose their problems when it comes down to how they fundamentally express themselves. libra TRIES to achieve a state of balance..i don't believe that libra is "ingrainly balanced" and is much more oscillating in how it processes information/feelings and its environment. Taurus, being a fixed sign, has very deep and slow moving emotions, they do not change quickly, it takes time which is why is takes so much to reach an arousal and when you do, watch out if you ****** them off!!!! not to mention the tendency to say more with less words.. ? if that makes sense, I feel like the talkative and flighty side of libra can be upsetting to Taurus since its such a solid sign, it means what it says vs libra can be back and forth, one side then the other and change its mind several times in between until it reaches its final decision. libras fickleness could be maddening to the Taurus, and Taurus's monotonous and comfort/habit tendencies can make libra restless and bored.

yes both signs are artistically inclined/ drawn to the arts, love quality items, Taurus being more inclined towards comfort, so comfortable clothes with nice textures, softness etc theres something very physical about its expression, for example.. a medium I would assocate with Taurus would be paint, sculpture, with an eye for beautiful and rich colors. Taurus can really make a beautiful voice also..as well as some stunningly sultry individuals..megan fox, betty page and david beckham! ooooooo wheeee :P Libra aesthetically is still drawn to these things, but theres something "lighter" about it.. I know an AMAZING Libran painter, and while libra will have an aesthetic eye also, the sensitivity to form and how it flows will be evident, "balance and symmetry" but libra also expresses itself beautifully through words and poetry more so than Taurus hence the cardinal air influence.. art is extended to philosophy and creative ideas, think of T.S Eliot who was also a libra rising, sun, venus and merc I'm pretty sure, also john lennon and ghandi were libras, all big time idea people! and Taurus I always think of Salvador dali and voice wise Adele and Cher! hehe

of course, its not limited to this, art is art there's so much different ways to express it despite signs.. and regardless both signs are potently creative IMO

Taurus Moon- Finds creature comforts and habits very necessary.
Moon Libra- Having someone to talk to is very necessary.

Taurus Moon- Working for material security and material conveniences.
Libra Moon- Working for the enjoyment of relationships and the art of creating.

Taurus Moon-"Give me the facts."
Libra Moon-"Give me the ideas."

Taurus Moon-Satisfied with keeping things working optimally.Even at the sacrifice of some relationships
Libra Moon-Satisfied with keeping relationships working beautifully.Even at the sacrifice of things working optimally

Taurus Moon- Wants a relationship that satisfies base need 1st i.e cook, clean and sex.
Libra Moon-Wants a relationship that satisfies their ideals 1st i.e long walks on the beach, romantic picnics and doing things together etc.

Taurus Moon- is most interested in the finished tangible product i.e When married, they become the protectors of the marriage and can be increasingly possessive of their mate as the years go on.

Libra Moon- is most interested in the "formation" of the marriage and after the wedding, their interest in it starts to decline . So it is far more more likely that they will look for that initial "spark" in the affairs they have.

Taurus Moon-Dislikes the beginning of anything , but loves the middle part(when things start to settle to predictability and familiarity).

Libra Moon- is most alive at the beginning(when things are possibilities and all is interesting),but can quickly lose interest when things start to solidify.

Taurus Moon makes friends slowly but keeps the loyal ones they have made for a very long time. Always hanging out with the same ones.

Libra Moon makes friends at a faster pace but is seldom close to any particular one and tends to "rotate" them -depending on their Mood.

Hmmm...

What if a man has a Taurus Moon and Libra Mars? Which one ultimately wins?

Different planets I know but I have one real life example in my head and I can see both descriptions fitting in his case...

For the record, he is OBSESSED with beauty...loves beautiful people, beautiful things, having a nice home, dresses well, takes great pride in his appearance, and so on. He has the worst "wandering eye" I've ever seen (no pun intended) if a lovely lady walks by. Yet...he is incredibly loyal in relationships and thrives in a partnership. With a Gemini Venus he doesn't seem to NEED a super attractive woman (as much as he admires them) but seems to go for the soft, pretty, youthful almost "angelic" like women instead. It is more about the mind and heart in the end, I think.

True, yes, I think the cardinal and fixed (and also air and earth?) don't mix so well in the end. The "get go" of the energies are very mixed on a profound level. But! Potentially they can mesh alright just because they're Venusian, if there are other supporting aspects, and possibly if they're evolved and can play well the Venusian qualities.

Yes it does. His Venus is pretty emphasized in his chart...

trine Mars (4 deg.)
trine Jupiter (6 deg.)
trine Pluto (almost exact)
trine Saturn (8 deg.) - too wide maybe
opp. Neptune (almost exact)

Cancer Sun

I really always consider the Moon as important.Especially since it rules the Sun.

But if Venus is on the angle, one can put their base needs aside for the pleasures and desires of Venus.

But after a while, they surface-like it or not. As the Moon position is what we "interpret" as love and affection and how we receive it.

What aspects are made by the Moon?

On the angle meaning Gemini Venus as his DSC (Libra) ruler, right? Venus sits in his 3rd but not that close to the IC.

Not much to his Moon...but it sits in his 2nd so it's Taurean influence is doubly emphasized...

sextile Sun (4 deg.)
and then a tight quincunx to Mars (almost exact)

on a friendship level I completely agree, I have a Taurus rising and my sun, mars mer are in libra, ive had many Taurus's throughout my life.. one of my closest friends is a Taurus, weve been friends for over 22 years! and my uncle, who is a second father to me.. is also a Taurus, they both have fire moons, we get along great for the most part, my Taurus friend use to beat the **** out of me when we were kids though..she obviously grew out of that really mean stage ha, I love them to death. oh yeah! and my little sister is a Taurus with a scorpio moon.. theres a calm to Taurus and a patience, but theres a distinct moodiness that borders on being a "bully and pushy" that can get a bit intense for me ha.. in a relationship level, I could not date a Taurus! already have and it didn't last at all ha it was to say the very least very turbulant. ive had several flings with Taurus and despite me also having a Taurus rising.. when I'm actually with one I don't feel like I have as strong Taurus traits anymore lol, this is more than likely because my scorpio venus conj pluto and Taurus as a rising in itself is far more emotional than the Taurus sun or moon due to the scorpio axis. Honestly though ive always had a hard time fully relating to my Taurus rising, I can see its influence but my scorpio/pluto influence definitely mitigates a lot of Taurus traits. calmness is probably the most distinct trait

So I say this from my own personal experience, of course I believe with any kind of time and effort.. any relationship can be worked out if that was the desired outcome!

i suppose i am saying this from my sun to sun inconjunct experience. off topic from the moon influence but still valid ha

Its likely that he may not experience problems in his love life. That is to say, he may prefer dating and flings to settling down.

The in-conjunct aspect between Mars and Moon suggests that what he goes after and attains(Mars),does not fulfill his emotional needs(Moon).

He may like it very much and be very attached to it(Venus/Mars),but he may feel that it is not "marriage material" or compatible to his inner self.

If he does marry,it is likely tat he may separate these two i.e Moon and Mars.

So he may marry a woman who is not into the things of culture, fashion, social scene etc. and is very much a homebody(Taurus).

Whilst he may have a partner or an "extra" someone with whom he can paint the town red now and again to fulfill this other part of him(Libra)

In his case, the midpoint of Mars/Moon could help resolve this issue and can be quite potent sexually for attraction.

If someones planets(say Sun/Mars or even Jupiter)crosses that midpoint, then he may feel that he has at last has found someone with whom to merge the two incompatible placements(Moon/Mars).

And with Venus trine Mars also in the party, the attraction to this individual could be very strong indeed.

My problem is the Venus/Mars semi-sextile. Moon is square Mars and trine Venus.

I dated a Libra with Mercury conjunct the Venus/Mars midpoint. But it seems that that is not enough. A stronger energy planet like Jupiter/Sun or even Pluto is needed.

Amazing! Your analyses are always so spot on.

I can definitely see this applying to him, and definitely had his fair share of fun in his 20's, but now approaching 34 he is very adamant he has found someone he can settle down with. Doesn't stop the wandering eye, but, I don't doubt his loyalty to her.

Interestingly enough...his moon/mars midpoint as you are describing is 4.38 Leo...and her Venus is 4.37 Leo!!!! :O Do you think Venus is a strong enough pull? Venus in her own chart is squared by Pluto almost exact so does that help?

Oh it could definitely help. And her square aspect with Pluto could scare him though

But only time will tell hey. Because Venus/Mars complementary aspects tend to be a double edged word.

On the one hand, they make it very easy and probable for the person to feel out the nuances in getting what it is they want. And they are definitely passionate about their object of desire.

But there is also a tendency to take the connection they have with the partner for granted.

With trines(as opposed to the intense squares, opposition and conjunction) there is a tendency to think "oh, well. There is more where that came from" etc.

This is because the trines and sextiles lack urgency and though it is wise not to cling(which these aspects seldom do). There is the cavalier feel of "I was fine when you came. I will be fine when you leave" about them.

So the result could be that he could continue to look outside(if he is responding to the less productive energy of this placement).

Or he could always try and bring the spice and affection to the relationship: keep it fresh etc.

But as I said, the trine is so easy-going that if that midpoint of Moon/Mars does not ring loud enough in his ear just how rare the match is. He may think it too much "work" and just easily let it die.
