Capricorn is more serious, melancholy, but it can be like Libra in some ways, so I can relate to your placements. I also have sun in Virgo trine Saturn and that's a somewhat Capricornian influence. Capricorn covers my IC, sun and Saturn form sextiles, grand trines, and a kite like formation with the MC IC, since they are naturally opposites. I can relate to your 12th house placements. In Capricorn 12, you could feel they are harder to reach at times, that's how I am about my Libra 12 Mercury and Jupiter. I can access those calm parts of my psyche, too. He is very calm, patient and does not emotionally invest himself into a problem like I do.
I have saturn conjunct moon and am very emotional but have never seriously thought of suicide. I just will never do that. But I break down, feel alone, and unloved. The past rushes at me if I am emotional or have been slighted by someone who has a history with me. IP: Logged |

Yep, I find Saturn is good at waves of despair brought on by a triggering event, even with trines.

I have Mars opposite neptune natal, i have bouts of depression because i find it hard to assert myself. What's worse is i have a Cancer mars, virgo moon, libra asc, i'm an ultra introvert and tend to live in my own world. Get depressed because things are never perfect (virgo + libra) Oh, and a saturn opposite venus, feeling rejection even if that is not true. Mars square ascendant, attracting negative people who are defensive/agressive. Neptune in the 3rd adding to the confusion of how i think and what is reality ect. Oh and throw in a strong pisces lilith while your at it. I pretty much live in my own head and just feel uncomfortable and never resting (Uranus also in the 3rd) and Jupiter in the 12th. I feel too saintly and good for this horrible world. IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, I have lost many people to suicide. I wish I knew their birth times, especially my bestfriend/soul brother, Travis. All I know is that they had the common thread of chemical imbalance. My uncle was suspected bipolar (GSWH), my friend Neil was a heroin addict(GSWH), Kelly was a heroin overdose who was Neil's girlfriend and he had killed himself in front of her house in his car. She didn't last a year after that; Travis was ALWAYS self destructive and had a major thyroid problem; my cousin's (she was like a sister to me) husband hung himself was a undertreated bipolar. There were extenuating circumstances that triggered the suicides. It would be cruel of me to ask any of the intimate survivors for birth times. I have had my black moments and depression is my default mode. I have a Grand Water Trine with a Mars retro kite. Scorpio Mercury (the point) in 3H opposing Mars retro Taurus 9H, trining Pisces Moon in 7H, and Cancer Saturn retro in Cancer in 11H. GOOD TIMES, YA'LL! Also, my Libran 2H Sun conjuncts my 3H Libran Uranus. I'm not even going to go into the 3 Yods. I do think a retro Mars anger that should be healthfully, outwardly expressed and internalizes it and that manifests as depression. This Mars also trines my ASC. Outwardly, I am fine and handle stress, but I am a mess internally. ------------------

I have a Neptune opposition, except not to Mars. Neptune oppositions can knock the wind out of you.
