De-railed.

What Anime is that Kerosene? My interest has been piqued.

Back on track.

I've also had Venus - Saturn tight conjunction. I was Venus. It was nice while it lasted.

Mars conjunct Saturn is usually problematic
It can be awkward, I think of it as a deal breaker.

Mars opens up while Saturn closes off.
This can be modified if there is a Mars/Saturn conjunction in the Natal Chart.

With almost all longterm couples you can find strong Saturn/Mars aspects. There's little exception to this really. But I also look at the declinations and the Helio charts. It's hard to believe in a longterm connection without at least one strong Saturn/Mars aspect. I read that this aspect sort of operates as a braking mechanism on someones (the other persons') sexuality. Which seems a pretty acceptable explanation since today's society is full of flighty and meaningless sexual contacts which only leaves us cold & empty behind (I hope you get my point). Saturn/Mars binds like no aspect can I would say. That's the essence. And I do not exactly believe in *easy* relationships.

In my most significant & longterm relationships I had them (these are all *different* cases) and they all had 'staying power' even after the relationship was over (until today);

- Saturn/Mars conjunction (2) (+ S/M opposition (0))
- Saturn/Mars contra-parallel (0,01)
- Saturn/Mars parallel (0,03)

In all cases *I* was MARS (1st case also Saturn in the opposition as you see).
In declinations I have a tight Venus/Mars contra-parallel natally (sexual aspect) + the Moon connected.
In the longitudes also a tight Venus/Mars minor aspect + the Moon connected in a square to Mars.

I have a mars/saturn conjunction (2 degree orb) in Taurus with my love. I'm the Saturn. I feel like he'll be the one for the rest of my life so we'll see.

Do you have any experience with this. Is this true?

Honestly I can't see how Saturn Mars aspects in synastry causes feverish sexual attraction. Feverish fights perhaps lolol. :P But Saturn Mars aspects are more about how compatible one's seriousness and structure is with the other's actions and passions.

I agree. There where others couldn't deal with my GEO Moon/Venus/Mars (sex/love/emotions) complexity, Saturn *could* (well at least for longer than a week or 2 lol).

IMO, Saturn aspects shows up a lot in long term relationships probably coz having our Saturns aspected makes us more serious about the other person. This is similar to having other elements in our charts aspected - Moon triggers our emotions, Venus triggers our affection, Mercury triggers our communication and mind... and Saturn triggers our seriousness and commitment (of course, Saturn being committing or commitment phobic depends on each of us, how Saturn is aspected in our own charts).

Mars/Saturn synastry aspects can show how compatible a couple can be when it comes to working together as a team. In any case, seriousness and sense of commitment is triggered, for better or worse.

But another interesting thing is, we often get together with people with whom we have issues to work together with.

So maybe we often find Saturn aspects in synastry coz whether they are harmonious or not, Saturn's seriousness can be a binding glue.

Sun/Saturn and Moon/Saturn are the ones I've seen most commonly - in long-term relationships.
I love Sun-Saturn aspects in syn, because I have the trine in my chart and I'm very comfortable with this influence.

I've read about Mars/Saturn being present often - but I haven't actually seen it in many of the charts I've looked at.

It's interesting though - because I could definitely picture myself married to the guy I mentioned (with his Saturn on my Mars). In a practical sense it would work, but it would be very emotionally dysfunctional.
There is so much missing. I don't like our synastry at all and the vibe between us - just sucks.

As usual - the whole synastry matters... One aspect will not make it or break it.

My Boyfriend's Mars - Saturn conjunction in Scorpio is conjunct my Sun - Saturn conjunction in Scorpio. The only additional aspects the entire conjunction receives are: a sextile from his Jupiter (9 cap) and a conjunction to my Mercury (5-6 degrees from his conjunction). We have a strong sexual chemistry BUT it might be the tight Mars – Sun conjunction in Scorpio.

The way I feel the Saturn energy in our relationship is more of a binding aspect than sexual. We were both convict bachelors (and single for a long time) when we met, 1 year ago. It took 3-4 months to realize we could not be apart from each other. And we argue .. oh yes, every week about everything, about nothing, jealous, the way I behave, the way he behaves but we just can’t let go of each other. (This is probably aggravated by my mercury in the middle of the conjunction)

I accept things he does or says that I would never accept from anyone else and in fact never did. This is the big difference. In my previous “non-saturnine relationships” we didn’t argue that much but I was very intolerant towards them and did not accept many things. Small acts would make me cause a break up for no apparent reason.

So far I am very happy with the patience-endurance-bond a Saturn based relationship brings. Even with all the ups and downs I feel he will be always there for me.

He is a Cap rising and I am an Aquarius rising so Saturn is the ruler/co-ruler of our charts. Sun is the ruler of my DC and Mars is the ruler of his secondary DC (which is the 4th house).

Have had heavy Saturn and Saturn/Mars in my long term relationships, my first serious relationship he was the Saturn with me being Mars. Of course we had the square going on, an will admit I was pretty annoyed by him. It felt like anything I had in mind or wanted to do he frowned upon. Bear in mind I dont have any Saturn aspects in my chart, so it was more difficult to handle.

Now I am married to a Leo man, and again we have the aspect Saturn conjunction Mars, with him being the Mars this time. He has hard Saturn aspects in his chart so it seems easier for him to deal with. It does help with being loyal an commited to your partner. We also have Saturn square Venus aspect as well so another karmic aspect added in.

My husband's Saturn is conjunct my Venus, 1 degree orb. I'm still waiting for him to worship me, but it's been 15 years and I am losing hope.

On the other hand, my Saturn is conjunct my niece's Venus, and I have always just loved her to pieces.

So, which one between this two synastry will add more "glue" to each other:

1)
Male to Female:
Sun oppose Saturn
--> Moon conjunct Saturn
Jupiter trine Saturn
Saturn conjunct Saturn
Uranus conjunct Saturn

Female to Male:
Saturn semisextile Venus
Saturn trine Jupiter
Saturn conjunct Saturn
Saturn conjunct Uranus

2)
Female to Male:
Sun oppose Saturn
Venus quincunx Saturn
Jupiter trine Saturn
Uranus conjunct Saturn
Neptune conjunct Saturn

Male to Female:
Saturn semisquare Sun
Saturn trine Moon
Saturn sextile Mercury
Saturn square Venus
-->Saturn conjunct Mars
Saturn trine Jupiter
Saturn conjunct Asc

If Moon conjunct Saturn is quite powerful than other aspect with Saturn energy, will the 2nd synastry not have the opportunity to make a quite powerful bond too (has Saturn conjunct Mars)?

When I first read about this aspect I was Mars and I was all freaked out (from what I'd read) about what Saturn was gonna do to me. That never got off the ground so I don't have much to add, lol.

But about your question, yes. I am Saturn. He is Mars. I put up resistance and he seems to thrive on resistance. It's like when he has to channel and focus his energy intensely he has the power to manifest things, like feverish sexual attraction- belly fevers. We both enjoy the build up. His drive to conquer is crazy for me.

In his everyday life he seems to have a greater sense of accomplishment when what he achieved was difficult.

And right next to Mars-Saturn is his Venus, so we have Saturn-Venus too. (Conjunctions. sorry.)

"the saturn person may be cold at first but will usually worship the venus person once a bond has been created" -Kerosene

that's it right there. Not yet, but true I think.

Would this strong connection be if the person had their Saturn in a Fire sign and the other persons Mars was in another Fire sign like?

What is your mars to that persons Saturn?

Is your mars or their mars in Scorpio because , scorpio is the second sign to rule mars, but Saturn is in Sco/Sag

Oh yes
My Mars in Virgo opposite his Mars in Pisces, both 0 degrees.
It has not caused problems because I like being controlled in that way And our emotional connection is on point

In any other situation, I could totally see fights happening.

I can think of one example of Mars-Saturn in synastry between actor Patrick Swayze and his wife. They had Mars conjunct Saturn in Scorpio. He was Mars. They also had Venus square Saturn. Swayze indicated that he postponed having a sexual relationship, he deferring to her wishes (her Saturn). He had addiction problems, and it must have been very difficult for her, but they had a long marriage which only ended because of his death. I get the impression there was a very deep love between these two people.

Saturn-Mars hard aspects (conjunction, square, opposition) eventually become hell on earth.

Yeah, good luck with that one. Hope you like being psychologically abused.
