Topic: Who is Cancer most compatible with out of the air signs?

I've always heard Libra, but I've started to realize it's Gemini.
Because neighboring signs always have empathy for each other, and because Gemini is the most open to feelings out of the air signs. Cancer and Gemini are both thinkers but Gemini is for the first time learning how to incorporate stronger feeling into what they think about. Libra and Aqua are doing similar things, but the difference is that they're incorporating others into their stronger feelings for things, while Gemini and Cancer are still only me-centered signs. (after the sign of libra is only when the zodiac becomes other-focused). I as a cancer feel like libras and aquas think about others TOO much. Lmao as weird as that sounds, I wish they were more like Gemini who takes things more personally.I think the evidence is in my friends. I have 5 close gemini friends, and the many aquas I used to be close with I am no longer close to at all because I couldn't relate to their way of thinking or their need to be friends with everyone. It's similar with libras, I feel like they're too focused on being cool with and well liked by everyone. So I have no libra or aqua friends nowadays haha. I feel like gemini is cliqueish like cancer is and forms a more personal connection close to their heart with each person. While libra and aqua would be happy being everyone's friend. ------------------

Gemini - Cancer's solar H12
Libra - Cancer's solar H4
Aquarius - Cancer's H8I can see why neighbouring signs can work because of the high chances for a conjunction between personal planets, but if we deal with Sun signs only - you can take your pick really. IP: Logged |

Like most signs, Cancerians appreciate Gemini because they love to talk to people and both signs like to gossip a bit. Cancer might not feel completely emotionally fulfilled or grounded with an air sign. My Cancer sun cousin is married to a Virgo sun. IP: Logged |

Well,it depends.
I'm a cancer sun with a very strong air influence and saturn influence as well.
I generally find myself liking Aquarius people(my moon is in aquarius).I find Geminis pretty interesting when they be not the two faced lying type.(venus and mars in gemini)
White Libra's look really graceful to me.I have two very best friends that are both Libra influenced(The one I know eight years is a libra sun,and the other one I know five years is a libra mars.They both conjunct my north node) so maybe this is why I get along with all of them lol IP: Logged |

Libra all the way! Gemini and Cancer are totally the opposite. Every Gemini-Cancer couple I've met are divorced...------------------

I'd have thought Libra and Cancer weren't all that compatible. Libra can be sweet and diplomatic but when relaxed he or she is likely to share more private thoughts in which issues are balanced with pros & cons and sometimes just to debate for the mental exercise. Cancers, at least in my observation, seem unable to have their pet causes (family, nation, religion, etc) called into question, they actually take it more personally than a slap in the face. I'm close with a Cancer and I have to tread carefully around certain political issues as the most innocent of comments can make him see red and feel under personal attack from me. Religion is another one but since he's changed religion enough times by now his sensitivity about that has waned. I may be going out on a limb here but I think Cancers NEED some outside identity (tribal if not family) to ties theirs to or they feel very vulnerable in a dangerous world (their "shell" in a manner of speaking) and calling that into question makes them question everything about who they are and it's too overwhelming for them and react as a crab would if you tried to take it out of its shell. For example,there are some type of Neo Nazis in the country where I come from and I would never support their actions or anything because they take things to the edge,therefore,I can fight with people if they tell me that killing foreign people is a good thing. I can say from personal experience Cancer is waaaay too sensitive for Libra. Libra tends to bicker and Cancers are generally sweet even though they are very sensitive and cry very easily when upset or annoyed. My cousin is a sun Cancer and she cries over everything and around people without any problem. Maybe it runs in the family because I am sorta like that, I have an exalted moon, but I feel weird and weak crying in front of people, it's one of my worst fears that I will be ridiculed for doing so. I want to be balanced in public, cry in private, alone, while Cancers tend to want to cry around others and be consoled, they love having a warm shoulder to cry on, as the saying goes.I think, in the long run, Cancer will feel let down by Libra and Libra will run to find the crowd that doesn't cry in public. I never cry in public. Few have seen me cry. I havent ever cried when a family member passed on or was in the hospital. I will probably only cry when my mother goes. And even then it probably wont be a lot. But I do cry about real suffering, about rapes, murders, about people I love doing unthinkable things. About children suffering, etc. I cry in private and not in public. For me those are real things to cry about, things that happen that affect us when we are living. I see no reason to cry about someone who lived their life, who didn't take care of themself, whose choices led them to their destiny. Etc.I def dont cry in public though. Not sure where your moon is. You sound less sensitive than my cousin because she is quite an emotional person, always has been, but it's mostly tears more than anything else, rest of the time she is very sweet to people. My cousin is a double Cancer and has built a wonderful life with her Virgo husband. They get along great and are very successful even with her Gemini planets clashing with his sun sign. He has Venus in Libra though and has always been popular with the ladies. That bothered her at first and she had a relationship with her boss at work (who bought her a lot of expensive gifts with company money - a whole other scandal in itself) while married to him but they worked things out and have been together a while.

I'm a gemini sun/moon with a Pisces sun and Cancer moon.
Our suns square too.I've never done anything normally so why I should be with someone I'm compatible with my personality. LOL Aquas make better friends than lovers and Libra annoys me.
Sags freak me out, Leo is too bossy, so Aries is the only good option.

I don't know if I could ever marry a virgo. It would have to be another water sign. Virgos are very deep but there isn't the connection without words that I have with other water signs. I used to think I was more compatible with fire and air signs for a long time. Used to think feminine signs bored me to death too, Kerosene. No chemistry. (And that my square sun friends were my match). Haha. Was very wrong. I just needed to find the right feminine sign friends, and now I have. My masculine sign friends don't compare. I think masculine and feminine suns do good as friends, but not as lovers. Anyway I just wanted to put out there that I do feel gemini and cancer gel out of the air signs and cancer, because they both see life more personally, more "me-centered" since they are at that stage on the zodiac wheel.
