my best friend is a (male) Gemini with venus in Cancer. he has been single for over 2 years now - I think he's waiting for a deep love (the cancer part), but he's very flirtatious (the Gemini). he is needy and likes attention/fawning over him, but he reciprocates that by being a very good friend and knowing your likes/dislikes and looking out for you. very mothering/protective in a way. very loyal. sensitive to verbal hurts, even though the Gemini part is willing to spar verbally. I have a childhood friend with Gem Sun/Cancer Venus. She is so difficult to maintain a relationship. She's very contradictory. She expects freedom, but at the same time she is so clingy. She falls in and out of love so easily. She's ready to start a new relationship, but once things don't work, she goes back to her exes. But at the same time, she always seems to "love" the guy she's currently with. I just talked to her a few days ago. She separated from her husband after just few months together. She just fell in love with a new guy, and she claims to "love" him, even though she only knows him for like a month. My friend also has Gem Mars and Sag Moon. IP: Logged |

I am also curious about this combo but in a male. It seems contradictory, since gemini tends to want space but cancer wants to be close. I don't exactly know how to deal with them as being a cancer myself, i am afraid of coming off as clingy, but I don't want to be distant either on the chance that they think I don't care for them...I am a cancer with a gemini venus :P I tend to be attracted to relationships where there is a lighthearted sense of love that is more playful and fun rather than super deep, possessive and dramatic, or even romantic really as i tend to find romance cheesy and unnecessary. However, I don't enjoy detatched relationships.. I want to feel as though they care about me and enjoy being around me. If I get the sense that they feel smothered or turned off by my showering them with affection I get hurt or insulted by it. Basically I like a lover who feels like a long time childhood friend or sibling lol. Just the right amount of protectiveness and loving care for eachother where the gestures dont need to be formal or dramatic, but more importantly lots and lots of fun, laughter, and learning. My ex boyfriend has this combo. He doesnt like to act clingy but will be with you everday. Kind of an arrogant ******* sometimes but it depends on other aspects. Hes not very emotional but after one beer will pour his heart out to me. Definitely loyal and protective. We remained friends. Hes my best friend.They say Cancers like to be home bodies. Since his Venus is in Cancer i fo notice he likes to be a homebody with anyone hes dating. Eat dinner together and watch tv. Marriage material

what would you say he was like in terms of receiving affection? like did he enjoy being showered with affection or does it seem to make him feel smothered? IP: Logged |

Lol...sounds nauseating! Ok, there was a guy I was talking too briefly and there was this Gemini girl w/venus in cancer who I guess was talking to him too...I can't tell I not dare going to ask him (he unfriended me on FB btw lol) but this girl likes EVERY status...EVERY single one in a annoying way its almost like her phone tings anytime he posts something...I did my snooping & noticed she had a BF she LOVED last year, then just last month was SOOO IN LOVE with a different guy, now she is after this other guy like really? If I was a guy I would be running in the other direction IMO.....I didn't fawn over this guy like that, maybe him being a libra with venus in libra liked the attention I wasn't about to give him all that just yet..I am sure not all are like that, but she seems to always be complaining,putting negative things about love, or lovey type quotes, she just seems like too much and that is because I'm sagi with venus in scorpio and we are tooo much at times lol IP: Logged |

It is not a bad combo IMO, Gemini likes space, Venus in Cancer can be clingy, both in one person would make Gemini less flighty and also make Venus in Cancer less clingy but it depends upon the rest of the chart too.IP: Logged |

He liked it. Didnt seem to mind. I would jump on him, hug him til i cut off his breath, and bite him all the time lol!
