Topic: Does neptune show beauty in a natal chart?

I am Neptune rising.I looked it up and it says Neptune diffuses whichever house it is in. So Neptune rising blurs your original rising sign. It gives the owner a dreamy look. To others, they won't see what you really are, but rather they see what they want to see.

Yeah Jupiter is exalted in Cancer but does the Moon have a good relationship with Sagittarius just based on that? I don't see the connection. Neptune could rule Pisces, it doesn't make it a higher octave of Venus unless you believe Jupiter really is a higher octave of the moon. Is it? And from what I have seen of Neptune, it's a very troubling planet. Look what happens to you when Neptune takes over your life... IP: Logged |

It could Neptune but it might be Uranus and Pluto too  I have mixed feelings about Neptune. There are some good things but the bad...and as far as beauty goes...hmm...not sure if it really makes people more attractive than Venus. Venus makes you pretty darned attractive. IP: Logged |

The most beautiful person I've met IRL has Neptune conj. ASC. I know a person whose 3-4 personal planets are conjuncted by Neptune, she's not conventionally beautiful but she is so magnetic. Neptune/ASC and Pisces ASC seem to have this other-worldly quality about them that Venusians lack.IP: Logged |

I know people with it irl and celebrities who have it and are not that attractive. They aren't positively the worst or they wouldn't be famous, but there are others that don't have it conjunct the ascendant or in the first house that look better and a lot of the ones with Neptune in first or ascendant have all kinds of horrible problems - confusion and scandals of all kinds, lost and misguided about what to do with their careers. Loss of money and funds. Drug and alcohol addictions. IMO Venusians are very attractive in a pretty kinda way and the ones with Venus in Pisces are more attractive because Venus is exalted in Pisces but that's Venus doing the prettifying, not Neptune. So I would rather a otherworldly mystical planet prominent rather than Venus.. which simply charm..

Ooo I love the way people with really great Venus placements look, like when it is exalted or conjuncts the ascendant or in the seventh house. Venus is never overrated! I agree with mass production of persona being a Neptune/Uranus/Pluto thing. The looks belong to Venus, making the most of them and getting them before the world belong to the big three outers. I agree here too. Venus is the queen for a reason lol  I think all people are beautiful just some more than others and due to genetics. It's just the negative people who take away from their beauty. IP: Logged |

Yes, that's why I disagree with a lot of what people post about Neptune, heh. I like Venus in Pisces and think that would be wonderful to have in my chart! What woman doesn't want an exalted Venus?

^^^ I wouldnt say that I have always been attractive my whole life. I think what neptune on my ascendant has done for me in my early life has made me look very vulnerable and innocent to a degree where it had lead people to see me as an easy target of some sort. When I became older and learned to overcome the negative attributes of having neptune on the ascendant, that is when I was able to let the neptunian beauty shine through physically, though I have to admit, a lot of it does have to do with what other people project onto me rather than reality. It sounds stereotypical neptune but it really does seem like people just project fantasies or their inner ideals onto me because of my amorphous nature or neptunian aura, which can be positive or a negative thing when people realize that i'm not actually a character from final fantasy but a living person who also has to wipe their a$$ and all that. I think the difference between venus on the ascendant and neptune on the ascendant is that venus tends to more often give the native a pretty and beautiful appearance, one that is traditionally beautiful and accepted more by conventional standards, whereas neptunes influence IF the native is able to handle the many negative influences of neptune being on the ascendant, tends to shine deeper and more ethereal, in a very hard to pinpoint sense; much like neptunes nature, there is just something about neptune rising people that is hard to pinpoint in general, whereas venus rising people you know that they are beautiful and what it is exactly about them that is pretty, with neptune it is through their aura of mysteriousness or perceived sense of compassion and/or naivety that contributes to the "other worldly" beauty.
