Do you have an online source or book that you gather information about planets influence on physical appearance?
I'm quite interested in this but finding information outside of Asc/Sun/Moon is difficult.

Sun opposite Neptune creates a dynamic and creative push-pull which drives them to achieve imaginative excellence. They have an ethereal, other worldly aura which attracts people to project their dreams onto them. They wear it well and make good clothes-horses for partners to wrap their fantasies around. They are prime candidates for projection. They seem to attract wounded and troubled partners who seek in them salvation. They may have supremely idealistic expectations in their love life, constantly searching for that perfect Soulmate to make them feel whole.

Sun Opposite Neptune Celebrities
Elizabeth Taylor (41′ was the perfect Neptune beauty with her spellbinding and unique violet eyes. She has fallen hopelessly in love with 8 husbands, all dramatic and romantic in some fashion. 2 abusive alcoholics, one dying in a plane crash. Her most famous of course, her star crossed marriage with fellow screen idol Richard Burton. She has had more than her fair of medical problems, but continues to radiate star quality. Alison Goldfrapp (87′ , multi-media Pop star and walking work of art. Alison draws inspiration from surrealism and nature. She said that “music is a visual experience” and she visualizes her lyrics before writing them. She uses animals to convey human emotions in her lyrics and they feature heavily in her videos. She is famed for her unique fashion sense, inspired by paganism, and quite shamanic, she has been known to wear a horses tail on stage.

Tiny Sheena Easton (59′ made her big dreams come true winning a BBC “Making of a Pop star” contest which catapulted her to instant Hollywood stardom. Singing a bond theme and dueting with Prince a far cry from her working class Scots roots. She has married 4 times and says she is “always in love” with her relationships. Carol Channing (97′ strange elastic-faced Actress with a kooky image, had 3 marriages including one celibate through impotence. Poppy King (68′ built a multi-million pound cosmetics company by the age of 21. The “Lipstick Queen” owned one of the biggest cosmetic companies in Australia, but it has since gone into liquidation.

Don't forget Marilyn Monroe had plastic surgery. The iconic pictures of her are all after she had her nose and chin done. I remember reading she had cheek implants too.

oh... on the refresh I see the conversation has moved on! haha.

Can I ask a stupid basic question? when you say "neptunian" on "venutian" beauty here are you talking about on the asc or as the chart ruler or.... ?

I know one girl with Neptune on ASC and she looks much better in RL than on pictures. Neptune can work both ways. I think Norma Jean Baker transform herself into Marilyn Monroe when T Pluto went through her ASC. Yes, imo Neptune is higer octave of Neptune. Venus is love, Neptune is universal love.
Cameron Diaz also have Venus conjunct ASC- for me she never was super beauty but it adds charm.
If you want to be an idol, icon you need in your Natal chart hard aspect from Pluto (because people, generation must be obssesed with you , you need hard aspect to Neptune to captivate the public)

"I" really view Venus as tame. Very tame and overrated. It's like a catchy mainstream song, it attracts you then you discover it's very repetitive, simple and doesn't provoke any feelings in you.

But neptune, I hate it, true, but oh it's very compelling, like one of Bach's genius symphonies, it hypnotizes you, takes you to another world and entices feelings in you, you never though you had.

No comparison. At all.

Actually a lot of Caps I know are really glamorously dressed. Neptune in Cap!

I think goatcat is an example!
I love her style, and makes her more appealing than an someone with out Neptune conjunct sun.

Look at all the actors with Neptune aspecting their suns, seriously check it out on astrotheme...

Neptunians are not your typical friendly Venusian boy/girl next door.
They make an impact in life, they are misunderstood!

Whether they become icons or tragic cases, they make a huge splash.

This is something Venus can not do on its own unless it's in conjunction with an outer planet.

Heh well looks aren't everything.

It's just funny how Venusians put so much emphasize on their charms and looks... yet some stay at j.crew level.

If you want to visually impress an artist like me than why not go for an extreme cat eye, no?

I don't want to paint another bottle blonde wearing uggs and a juicy couture tracksuit lol..

but Neptunians-Uranians have always captured my interest with their unusual/exotic beauty

All this love for Pisces/Neptune, I'm flattered We are quite stunning aren't we

I think Neptune can give a soft, dreamy look to a person. Whether you find that beautiful or not is up to you. Venus gives the standard "everybody thinks I'm beautiful" look. Generic standards of beauty are Venus' domain. Neptune makes the girl who walks by and 5 minutes later you're still thinking about her but you can't figure out why.

Now imagine that you had a well placed Venus aspected by Neptune, or that they both aspected the ASC! All the charm and beauty of Venus mixed with the intrigue and ethereal influences of Neptune.

yes i agree= venus is a people pleaser its the girl every guy thinks is hot but no guy goes insane for- lacks that je ne sais quoi i find girls with a strong venus nice and pleasant and pleasing to look at but without that WOW factor - venus is earthy neptune is otherworldly- it takes us all to a higher level- im so blah aboutvenus

So what about the squares? I'm never really sure if people think I'm attractive or unattractive people never tell me. I do think people project what they want to see of me though. Neptune squares my asc and I do have sleepy/dreamy eyes.

The business of illusions.

quote:
It seems that people who are considered truly beautiful in an out of this world way, have a prominent Neptune in their chart as opposed to venus.

Yes, that's because Neptune is an enchanting b@stard. A great amount of that beauty lies in the fact that person in question is unattainable, an open opportunity to project, and therefore many end up projecting their own ideals to the person.

quote:
Have you noticed that? Elizabeth taylor had a prominent Neptune as well. Do you think Neptune plays a greater role in defining beauty than venus? Do you think hard Neptune aspects specifically the squarea and inconjunctions to ascendant, sun, moon etc. would make someone not very attractive?

Yes, I have.

Neptune rules the film, and Neptunian people can bring into manifestation the essence of what the film as art is all about - you don't have to get the idea, but you feel it.

When Neptune aspects Venus, we have the aesthetic eyes of wide masses (Neptune) all set on a person's personal charm (Venus). That same Neptune will in time show what we as a generation will love - what kind of music, films, fashion will mark a certain period of time. Neptune in Capricorn = understated elegance, Neptune in Sag = neo hippy.

People who have luminaries, personal planets in hard aspects to outer planets are basically vessels for a certain aesthetic niche to happen or come forth. They lead the people. You wanna be like them. They are underdogs, mainstream and pop culture icons.

I think that Neptune in aspect to Asc is a textbook chameleon aspect and doesn't fare well in everyday life. Neptune isn't dull, and ordinary life is just that, full of silly people who project their stuff onto you.

As far as Elizabeth Taylor goes, I think her her appeal lies in boisterous chart ruler in Leo squaring her H8 ruler + MC ruler Venus 0° unique Uranus in Aries. She also has a very feminine and seductive combo of Pisces Sun - Scorpio Moon.

Some of what I read I do not agree with. I, especially, do not agree with a lot of the info about Neptune in particular. I base what I know on personal experience with this particular planet because I know people who have the sun, moon, or ascendant configured with it, or perhaps, all three.

I have that square as well--Neptune square asc. (also Neptune square Venus (on my asc.) and Neptune square Jupiter (in my 1st)). I've read that the square can be interpreted as an inhibition of emotions. How that's played out in my life is, when I'm acting more shy and reserved, people tend to gravitate toward me and they initiate any conversations. When I try to initiate things, it doesn't go very far. But, I think that may be because of my Mars/Pluto/Saturn T-square. It can come across VERY strongly and even put some people off. Guess it might be best when I just let things happen.

So, as far as attractiveness and Neptune, from the posts I've been reading, it can add a mysteriousness and alluring quality, regardless of whether any particular individual finds you "attractive" or not.

I have Neptune square ASC
Conjunct Uranus
Opposes my Mars
Sqaures my mercury not to mention that Venus rules my chart and is my dominant planet. What does that make me lol!? The same as all of you. I'm very magnetic and attract people like crazy but it's not because of my Neptune.

Speaking for myself, Neptune co-rules my chart, and Pisces is a very receptive sign, so that might have something to do with it for me.

Ahhh... in that case. I have a request, if you have the time and energy.
Truthfully I think MANY people would love it.

Maybe you could put together a little thread giving a brief description of each planet's influence on physical features?

That would be amazing!

Someone should start a thread and each of us put how we think one planet in our chart influences the way we look.

I know there's already an ascendant and traits thread, but not a specific thread detailing one planet that each one has and a personal description of what it's like physically.

I have Cap Neptune conjunct Asc in H1. Sag Saturn and Uranus conjunct Asc from H12.

I have Neptune square Sun (H10) and Mars (H4) and sextile Pluto (H11).

I'm a triple Cap Rising (sign, decan and duad).

I'm not really into gatherings and the masses (Virgo Sun, Aqua Moon), but I think I can be charming when I want to. Like eeeeverybody else on the planet

Just had to respond to this topic.

Scorpio asc. @ 16° with neptune 14° and venus 12° conjunct. Soft appearance with big eyes and proportionally strong but smallish features. Nose appears bigger on film sometimes then actually is. Take horrible pictures for the most part. Naturally gorgeous arched brows. Very changeable appearance. I can choose to "turn on" my attractiveness and have used to my benefit in the nicest way. I am NOT shallow. Or compliant. (Moon in aries.) My mental state and daily mood strongly affects my appearance. People do see what they want to see or project. Cannot allow to be my problem. I am aging into voluptuousness. When I do not comply with their vision, I have been insulted. Ha! Example, "You are nothing but your hair." Have also heard many times I glow. I can appear so soft and am so strong and so vulnerable. Very much enjoy being a natural beauty. And, care as nicely vain, but do not care. Love a steam room and makes me physically shine. Think detoxification assistance very beneficial! Saturn 7° aquarius squares widely. Battle with acne breakouts has been life long. HIGHLY value kindness and integrity. I understand MM and her capacity to project/energize an image/illusion. Must have been such a burden and price tag way too high. Not worth it. When I think of her, just remember seeing footage of her singing happy birthday to JFK, WOW! Look it up...neptune on steroids. Not interested in the negative manifestations. Consider a moment of drinking a luxury. Forget drugs. Tho do seem to be very sensitive and do not like. Hopefully, I will not have to be prescribed anything as I age. Have allergies. Smoke cigs. Oh, must get good sleep. Blood drawn and shocked nurse said my skin is tougher then it seems. Very soft skin too.

I know I must be attractive but do not want to take advantage or care too much. Wonder if I undermine my potential.

Adding confirmation to this thread. Neptune is very prominent in my natal, with hard/ tight aspects to sun and venus. In my progressed, venus is conjunct ASC with Leo rising. I have Pluto and Neptune both aspecting my venus/ASC conjunction. Natally I also have jupiter on my cancer ASC.

From a young age I've always been told I'm beautiful (never really believed it/ been extremely humble about it) and I've been told even more so now with the Venus/ASC conjunction, Leo rising and the prominent pluo in there.

HOWEVER, I definitely agree that neptune can cloud/fog and attribute to scandals. I am probably one of the most kind, compassionate, caring people you would ever meet who always wants to be your friend and make you feel good about yourself, but many women dislike me due to extreme jealously and insecurity...many consider me a threat, and I've even been involved in situations accusing me of an affair (which of course isn't true...ugh, it's tough sometimes.)
