^ And posts like that are the exact reason I hate saying my Sun/Moon combo. The interpretations for this online make me cringe. I'm anything but that!

That's why I initially said that this whole thread idea was insulting.

Yeah, thanks, some of the wording didn't make me happy.

Mercurial Intellect, I am sorry about how I reacted, it was really snippy. Just... brought up a lot of memories.

Just because I feel really bad about that interpretation, I want to say I have a very dominant Libra/Virgo/Neptune and 12th house influence. The service-oriented and pleasing side in me are a lot stronger.

Don't worry about it. You're fabulous no matter what.

Heh. My husband is a Leo Sun with Capricorn Moon. He's also anything but that. BUT...he has Sag AC, Aqua Mars, and Venus/Vertex/Sun all conjunct in Leo/8th. So he's a really loving, laid back guy who doesn't really care too much about getting ahead in society (although he does get ahead at work and with money, because he's also very intelligent). Our goal is to get him out of his career and into something he can do that he enjoys, even if it means less money for us. He likes living off the land and is a very spiritual person in many ways.

My cousin, on the other hand, has Leo Sun, Aries Moon, and Capricorn AC and she can be very shallow, self-righteous, overly career driven, and honestly rather vapid. She's kind of more the type that you described, I think.
....
Now I feel bad for saying that, but it's true.

I have Scorpio Sun- Aries moon and sometimes I get so bored with daily routines and the predictability of life that I wish life was more like an action movie. So I get myself into trouble every now and again.

My sister has Sag sun- aries moon. She talks a lot but can't listen to other people for long- even her own daughter !lol

I'm probably going to receive hate but oh well. If you're that combo and don't act that negatively, then no need to hate then, right?

OMG!! My father has those placements and you described him to a T. The whole time I have known him he has always been about making sure his ego is stroked and he would do anything and hurt anyone to make sure his ego is intact and big.

Gemini-Sagittarius, here.

Listening to parents whose children have this combo I get the feeling as younguns we're unruly. We collide often and with almost everyone.

Your husband's laidback-ness is from his Sag AC.

The greatest under my skin crawling monster (thought he was God) had Sun AND Moon in Scorp.

My Sun (Leo) exactly square his Moon.
His Sun within 2* conjunct my Moon.

An uncle I can barely stand has Virgo Sun and Aquarius moon.

My second cousin has this too and we get along.

People seem to be strongly opinionated on them.

I have Aries Sun Scorpio moon

Wow so many people who dislike the cap/aqua combo, I'm really surprised. My dad has that combination and is one of the warmest, most affectionate people I've ever met. Not at all detached.

I dislike Cancer sun/Gemini moon combo. I've met two people with that combination and both just plain annoying and for some reason, I just found them boring too.

It's taken a long time for me to develop the positives of my Sun, and I still have a long way to go with the positives of my Moon (critical, nagging shrew that my Moon is).

I have a friend that is a Virgo sun, Pisces moon, and she is so talented and so awesome... but she is a terrible flake and is terribly insecure such that it can be horribly trying to be her friend sometimes. She cares so much about what people think about her, yet when you tell her honestly that she did something that upset you, she makes herself out to be the victim and apologizes so much that it's nauseating.

I don't know anyone with your combo, but as a Pisces sun with very little Virgo influence in her chart (its on the cusp of my 12th house, and that's it) I'm curious to hear more about this dynamic.

Ha ha. I can be a little bit that way in my relationships/marriage, but not so much with my friends.
If I ask my husband if I've done something to irritate him and he gives me a direct answer, I can usually recognize what he's saying about my behavior, and I acknowledge it, and then work on it. Most of the time.

With friendships, I have Saturn in Cancer in 11th trine Sun, so I'm careful not to be offensive with people I actually consider friends (they're few and far between, but I value them enough not to bring a bunch of drama to the table). I think the Saturn placement makes me cautious about my friendships. I don't sabotage them.

It is conflicting, and there are of course some major self-esteem issues to overcome throughout life. It's become better as I've gotten older, but I still have to work on my ego and my Moon's inclination to criticize my loved ones incessantly. That's a real drag, so I work on it. (That's probably the Saturn talking.)

I've stopped being overly apologetic to a vast degree. I apologize when I need to, and try not to be a passive-aggressive d0uche.

Also, I used to be really flaky about everything (except work). I would bail out on plans with people, or appointments or whatever. Now I just don't commit to something if I know it's not something I want to do, or I just force myself to do it if need be. I think that's one of those "comes with age" things. In my 9th Harmonic, my Sun/Moon opposition is gone, as are the squares to my Neptune.

I think I said the words "work on it" at least ten times in that last post.

I have Capricorn Mars in 6th, and if I used a wide orb my Saturn would be sextile my Moon as well as trine my Sun. Pluto/8th energy is prominent in my chart, so I probe into my psyche without much fear, for the most part. I regenerate easily.

<Edit>
Hm. This thread is bringing out my self-criticizing Virgo Moon to the infinite degree. My Sun and Moon still need some work.

I had a friend w/ this. She was a bit eccentric and we had some good times. A bit high strung. I think she had a thing w/ anxiety.
Couldn't stand being single she would meet guys online a lot. One times she had a guy visit her out of state and stay at her place that was very stressful to her friends and sister. We had a falling out over it. I apologized but we could hardly stay friends because of it.

She doesn't talk to me for over a year, and then out of the blue she wants to hang out with me finally. Tells me to "bring some wine" I was a bit startled like who says that?! She isn't even having a party, why would she ask me to go out of my way like that?
I tell her I don't have wine but I can bring whats left over from margarita mix.

A week later she asks me if I could buy her weed and that she'd pay me back and that we could hang out.

I said no and I never talked to her again. She will reach out to me sometimes but I am so done. And hurt that she only wanted to be friends with me again cause none of her other friends liked her boyfriend, and they both didn't have jobs and wanted to high.

Based only on my experience. The worst person that I have dealt with was Sag sun and cap moon.
The whole chart was cap and Sag pretty much.

@Stawr--
OMG, what a disaster! I don't think I was ever that type of friend, even in my younger days when I was drunk and high all the time, haha. I always had a job, and have never felt okay "using" people. Ew.

There's probably a huge difference between being a Virgo Sun opp Pisces Moon, and being a Pisces Sun (Sun is house ruler in my case) opp Virgo Moon. So says I.

<Edit>
Wait, one of our members has that placement, I think, and they're super sweet if I'm not mistaken. I suppose we always have to take other things into consideration.

My bestie is Pisces opposite Virgo. His Pisces Sun is also in a stellium with Venus & Saturn. His Virgo Moon is in a stellium with Uranus, Pluto, and Mars.

He's the nicest guy you'll ever meet...but utterly neurotic.

Well, I NEVER...um. Okay, maybe. I *could* (theoretically) be considered slightly neurotic on occasion.

*cough*

I mean...theoretically speaking, of course.
It does make me thankful that I don't have a stellium anywhere, though. I would think that a lot of oppositions would be really tough. I have a few, and they're kind of hard to manage sometimes. I think Pluto opposite Venus is probably my absolute least favorite.
