Where is your 2nd house ruler and how is it aspected? How do you think the house it falls in relates to your money/income? Same with if you have planets in the 2nd house...My 2nd house cusp is Leo and I have Sun in 7th house.. So that seems to imply I will "bring" money into a relationship or to a spouse. But then I also have Venus in 8th house opposite Jupiter in 2nd... So this could mean attracting wealth through others? Or does the opposition sort of cancel it out? If anyone with a better understanding of house rulers has thoughts or could help me figure that out it would be appreciated lol Jupiter in 2nd sounds nice but it's retrograde so I do have somewhat of a safety net but other than that it's not like I'm given anything for free. I also can be overly generous or irresponsible with money but am definitely learning my lesson about that... So anyway just curious to hear experiences and opinions on how the 2nd house ruler plays out for you IP: Logged |

Jupiter (regular) in 2nd House in Aries. Ruler of 2nd House (Mars) in Sun Sign in 10th House in Capricorn. 2nd House Squares 10th House. Jupiter Sextile Moon in 3rd House. I don't know about the astrology.I'm too generous giving money away and I can be a wild spender sometimes, but I oscillate between being cheap and being spendthrift. IP: Logged |

Myself? - Saturn in 2nd House - In sign of Sagittarius - Ruler in the 5th House - Saturn sextile ASC - Saturn square Jupiter So I guess I'll "bring" money to my kids, romantic interests, personal hobbies, etc? Or they will bring it to me? I'd like some help understanding this also.

2nd house ruler Moon in the first I'm definitely an emotional spender. I mostly spend on myself like personal products.. It's surprising how quickly it all adds up.. though I love to spoil myself.

The offspring (Taurus & Libra) of the natural 2HR are drawn to partners who can provide from them financially and materially. Although Taurus isn't as big a spender as Libra, they will demand that you provide for them. If rich they'll demand that your work and contribute what you can. It pains both signs to shoulder any financial burden. It could be reasoned that our 2HR shows what we consider valuable and where we go looking for it. quote: My 2nd house cusp is Leo and I have Sun in 7th house.. You seek security through your partner. You may marry someone for the money/things they provide. Or you may bring home the bacon to provide for a partner to keep them by your side - for the security. You may also want to start a business with your partner, or work alongside them.

7th house is house of partnerships. It doesn't just mean you get money from spouse. It could mean business partners.IP: Logged |

I always end up losing money in relationships, the only men/relationships that are giving it, are trying to control you with it.IP: Logged |

Interesting.. I’ve avoided dating for money (despite having the option) because I don’t view relationships that way, and as Gabby said I don’t want to be financially dependent on someone and lose control of my own options.. But it’s just frustrating because dating for love hasn’t exactly worked out either, and I still feel like I’m being limited/controlled just by the fact that I have no money lol. I don’t expect anyone to provide for me, but I also don’t want to be with someone who drags me down financially or otherwise Anyway, I have Juno in 6th house, and my 6th house is ruled by Jupiter in 2nd. My MC is Pisces and co-ruler Neptune is technically in my 6th but also conjunct my DSC. So working or starting a business with a partner seems very possible.. My 6th cusp and juno are in Sag, so ideally I’ll move abroad and meet someone then lol IP: Logged |

Yeah I’m not sure, the 8th house and inheritance thread got me thinking about this… Usually I would think planets in the 8th (especially venus) would indicate receiving money from relationships, but maybe the opposition changes it in some way? Jupiter in or ruling the 2nd house is supposedly so positive financially, but from what I’ve noticed jupiter can also mean “bad luck” sometimes so I’m not necessarily convinced.. IP: Logged |

My guess is money will be connected to a deeper “cause” in some way.. you could donate or find a career in something having to do with humanitarian organizations, spirituality, healing, therapy, etc. Or maybe your income will be “hidden” or secretive in some way? Sorry I’m really terrible with house rulers, wish I knew more.. IP: Logged |

ok i don't think 2H tells you what kind of partners you seek. If you want to know, start from your 7H and read from there. Leo in 2H. The sign shows what kind of spender you can be. You are probably a generous spender when it comes to loved ones. Jupiter in 2H is actually a good sign since it signifies expansion in money area. But as yours is Jupiter retrograde, I have no idea how to read this though generally with retrogrades, i just think the good things come later in life. Jupiter retrograde people are said to always think themselves less worthy of things.
Ruler of 2H is in 7H. I don't know your 7H house. 7H is house of partnerships. It means you get money from business partners. It might also mean u start a business with your spouse and make money from there. Juno in 6h in sag. You would want a partner that loves work (helping others) who shares your beliefs and also someone who gives you independence u need. IP: Logged |

I want to analyze your natal chart. If its OK for you, can you create a new topic in Personal Readings? You can say No, of course. Thanks.

I have Libra on the 2nd. I also have Pluto in Scorpio there. I have Venus in Pisces in the 6th. Venus trines Pluto and Jupiter, squares the Moon, and sextiles Mercury, Uranus, and Neptune. In addition to the Venus trine, Pluto opposes Mercury, squares Mars, and sextiles my Ascendant.Sadly, I know what I should do with my money, but...I'm really bad at managing it. I always seem to find the money to pay the bills on time, but I usually make minimum payments on credit cards, and I never save anything, really. I will wholeheartedly admit that I am too self-indulgent where money is concerned. Any time I seem to be in a pinch, something always comes through at the last minute, though. Edited to add: I often find this somewhat funny being that I'm an accountant by profession. ------------------ Sun -> Aries Moon -> Sagittarius Ascendant -> Virgo IP: Logged |

Let's see. Well, the natural ruler of the 2nd House is Taurus. Which happens to be my Ascendant and Mercury - they conjunct each other.BUT, in my natal chart, my 2nd House is Gemini - which I have stellium in with my Sun, Moon, Venus, and Jupiter (Sun, Moon, and Jupiter are in the 1st House). Gemini is the ruler of the 3rd House naturally. My VENUS is in the 2nd House. Venus is ruled by both Libra and Taurus. Libra is the natural ruler of the 7th House - which, in my natal chart, is Scorpio. My Pluto is in Scorpio and is in the 6th House. My Venus, however, conjuncts my Moon (which is backed up by my Sun and Moon conjuncting each other), semi-sextiles my ASC and Mercury (Taurus) and semi-squares my Pluto. So...I have no idea what any of this means. lol. All I know is that Venus in the 2nd House, I can make money (and also spend a lot of it) by doing with something with the arts and have an overabundance of appreciation for aesthetically pleasing things. Which is true because I want to be a novelist and love art, nature, beautiful things, and the finer things. IP: Logged |
