Yeah, people made a post about how to chat live with each other over there in Hearth and Home. Then we were alerted to why the chat room threads made a lot of trouble. Apparently everyone starts getting paranoid that others are talking b.s. about them. IP: Logged |

Well...it can get a little...uh...dysfunctional around here sometimes. Or it could, just...you know...in theory.I'm kind of glad that we don't have a chat room, we just kind of hang out here, talk about astrology, add a little of this or that, and then go back to astrology. Hardly anyone goes to Hearth and Home, and even that can feel awkward, imo. I like it the way it is. IP: Logged |

@Mercurian, ahh, no, sorry again, I wasn't. I was really tired and shouldn't have been on the board. I couldn't take it at the moment. There's been a lot of bad comments on both signs in my combo and it got too much. I just want to say they play out in a whole different way for me.It's ok <3 Yeah, I sensed that. Ah, they do? Could be. It's still two sides of the same planet. Do you feel like you relax more when people get to know you? @DeepFreeze: Ahh, it does make life a lot harder. At least your Sun and Moon do get along... that must help to get that Mercury of yours out of the way, right? It's easy to drive yourself crazy with that Virgo energy. I don't think people without it really understand unless they've grown up with one. @Liliya: That's good. Looking very good for a double Mercurial combo. Wow. Still shy despite all that fire? I think they'd get that, especially if you'd go for a Virgo. The Gemini can talk for you when you want to just listen for a while. You sound like you've got two very different sides to you, that can't be easy to please them both. (Wow sorry for the offtopic!) IP: Logged |

It also seems exclusionary to us new folks who don't know what yall are even talking about ~__~ I feel like my replies are constantly being burried under some personal chatter which make it hard to take the forum seriously. On the other end of the spectrum, the opposite was the reason I didn't enjoy astrologyweekly's forum as much. It seemed very serious as if everyone was tightly wound or only wanted to talk about astrology from a detached educational perspective rather than a personal one. Sorry if my aries mars in the 3rd, at an apex of a cardinal t-square comes off a bit harsh. Not trying to offend.IP: Logged |

Isn't this thread, specifically, an opinion anyway? (unless they're domicile, which is best) I understand what you're saying though. I agree and disagree. But if people didn't get to know each other more on here, it'd be a constant competition against one another, IMO. Which at the same time can be good since it pushes people to compete and create new ideas and knowledge, kinda like a mental "Survival of the Fittest". But about you being a new member and not getting to know each other, I'm Mercurian, how are you? IP: Logged |

I know EXACTLY what you mean.... exactly. I feel you. It goes away though. Give it time and you'll fit right in. You'll have fights and you'll laugh with people. It'll be great! IP: Logged |

I also know exactly what you mean, on all counts. I visited one forum, and I've said it before, but...they were seriously the most pompous, self-righteous bunch of know-it-alls I've ever come across, even on the internet. (Wow, that sounds rude and b*tchy, but that was what I thought.) Then when I started posting here there were a couple of times when I would think "Oh please just shut the f*ck up and get on with the topic", but it has never bothered me as much as the arrogant prats on the other sites I've visited. But yeah, I feel ya. I see your posts as well, no worries. Sorry if they get buried, that can be annoying. We just get a little sidetracked here sometimes. Okay, most of the time. But we still manage to talk a lot of astrology. IP: Logged |

i like virgo moons, it makes people really clearheaded, innocent, honest, and strong moralsMy fave combo ever is the Aqua/scorpio combination, sun or moon (my friend, molly ringwald, and maggie gyllenhaal) I like taurus moons too I like leo rising a lot too, i find them very giving. Pisces is so very lovely in any position but it makes people so easily influenced Cancer is wonderful: nelson mandela. very sentimental people IP: Logged |

Yeah I definitely prefer the atmosphere in this forum a lot better... I was so excited when I found this forum because everyone seems so friendly, especially after coming from astrologyweekly where i'd feel attacked for asking a simple question.. I have a suspicion that the creation of the "greenhorns" forum might have resulted from me blowing up on them years ago for their disrespectful attitude towards people with questions. I felt like they did nothing to help people other than giving condescending vibes where almost every response would seem like an automated reply with dozens of links to "how to learn astrology" sites, as if to assume we didn't even know the basics just because we had asked a question. Anywho.. To keep on topic I think leo sun virgo moon is also an amazing combination. They are so innocent and lovable from my experience. I think the virgo moon kind of tames the leonian ego which makes them more sweet and humbled Myself I am a cancer sun virgo moon, would more likely put that combo under worst than best for sun/moon though.

Yay, it snowed here too, which it hardly ever does. We're having stew, and putting...my old Matchbox cars on the tree as ornaments, hahahaha. It's the best way to keep a curious little boy from unscrewing the tops off the ornaments to see how they work. I'm about to have a glass of wine, because the neurotic Pisces Sun/Virgo Moon side of me tends to come out when I'm faced with stressful projects like sorting through everything and moving to another state. Ps He has LOTS of Hot Wheels cars of his own, but he thinks mine are cooler. IP: Logged |

In my opinion the best Sun/Moon combos are the ones where the Sun and the Moon are in signs that trine each other, especially these:Aries Sun - Sagittarius Moon Taurus Sun - Capricorn Moon Gemini Sun - Aquarius Moon Cancer Sun - Pisces Moon Leo Sun - Aries Moon Virgo Sun - Taurus Moon Libra Sun - Gemini Moon Scorpio Sun - Cancer Moon Sagittarius Sun - Leo Moon Capricorn Sun - Virgo Moon Aquarius Sun - Libra Moon Pisces Sun - Scorpio Moon IP: Logged |

Air sun, water Moon. The intellectual expression of emotions. Fire Sun, Water Moon. Can be bipolar. But so passionate in a way that keeps them emotionally "raw". Air Sun/Earth Moon. Stable mind and reasonable outlook Earth Sun/ Fire Moon. Down to earth but very invigorating. IP: Logged |
