Which Chinese zodiac do you think prefers to wear darker clothing? I have been drawn to that but I like a splash of color. Roosters are sorta like that, I guess. They can have dark feathers all over their bodies and really bright plumage in certain areas. I am somewhat like that. I don't have the rooster confidence. I prefer the weighty intellectualism of the ideal metal monkey. I think of intellectualism with some heaviness to it, sorta melancholy and it reminds me of Saturn in Libra, a little, too.

Dark clothing?
Ox bc its pragmatic and conservative

Snake bc its mysterious and seductive, or elegant

And tiger bc it's elegant and seductive. They can make any color look scandalous hehe

None of my pillars are those so I wonder if it's because of two metals?

Maybe the Snake will like darker clothing?
I can see what you mean about the Rooster though. I mean the Snake will like darker clothing not linking it to the actual animal the Snake, but correlating it with Scorpio.

I don't think I have the Rooster confidence either, idk. (Rooster Month) I do have a Leo Asc, though

Sometimes I feel a little pessimistic and about it, such as today. It's just another challenge to conquer guess.

Absolutely! Pessimism has to balance both of us though. I'm so Jupiterian and your optimistic posts lead me to believe that you have Jupiter sitting near some high powered spot in your chart too. You'll get through it since you're really awesome!

So are Roosters supposed to be super confident because that's not me. I have much more in common with rabbits, there!

Pfft.... I don't feel dazzling. Mine are pretty cool though.

I've seen a picture of MsPrism one time, somewhere. I remember her eyes very well. Dazzling indeed.

I don't think they're supposed to be super confident, but rather have this "I'm going to do what I have to" confidence. I would think the Tiger or Dragon would be the most confident.

Yup, same here. Dragons and Tigers. I have one Dragon Uncle, I've mentioned in another thread of RAS's. He is a Dragon and the only male sibling with three sisters while the oldest daughter is a Tiger and these two are on the top of the sibling hierarchy, one because she is the oldest, the other because he is the only male. So everyone goes to them for advice and to find out family news. Whenever the extended family calls about something, it's always to one of them and they pass the info alone. They are always first to know.

Yeah roosters are not super confident. Just picture a nervous hen or rooster running around doing things diligently

The snake rooster ox trine is generally sensual, not flashy, looks soft or sparkly eyed/sentimental, has supple skin, and delicate features

Dragon rooster monkey trine looks the most confident
Happy engaging playful, bright eyed and assertive, and showoffy too

Pig goat rabbit trine looks the most plain. Theyre somewhat expressionless, all of them. Reserved emotions. Shy. Withdrawn, etc. downplay they way the dress etc

And dog horse tiger are probably the most hyper ad aggressive looking. They seem proud, almost overly confident and seem like the most insensitive imo, judging by looks alone

The confidence that I feel is a bit like this.

It's not that I have such confidence to make me do stupid things. Um, wait, I do do stupid things. Nevermind. LOL

But when like... I have a financial burden, or a time crunch of too much to do, or some daunting task. I can still feel anxiety about it but I never doubt that I can get through it.

Hey thank you so much everyone!!

Speaking on the confidence of Roosters, I don't find my mother to be confident at all but RAS' description of them running around diligently completing tasks, that is her to a T.

That sounds a big like Virgo huh?

Hey, Rabbit is supposed to be Virgo. I'll see what my mother's other pillars are. . .

I do have the snake/dragon/rooster trine, lol. It's funny because that's the most confident one and it's the only one I have in my pillars.
oops
*edit* I meant dragon/monkey/rooster trine and the other is the snake.

My mother's pillars are Rat Hour, Rabbit Day, Rabbit Month and Rooster Year.

Hm. . .

Yeah, do you think the Pig/Boar really matches any sign properly? When I think of a boar, I think of something that is really really aggressive and possibly deadly if you're chased by one in the bush.

RAS, I love how you say "I've observed them. . ." you sound like you /should/ be writing a book on this subject!

This is how all of us would look right now, in the real world.

I know, right? There's a big difference between wild boar and domesticated pig. Pigs are seen as somewhat sweeter but when I was a kid, my cousin had some in a pen at her house and she told us to not go into their pen because they were bad about biting. Boars are downright aggressive and charge people. They are feisty.

Mercurial Intellect - which do you like more, the pig or boar?

Also, sometimes, the sheep is called a goat.

Maybe Boar really does fit Scorpio then. Since they have to be provoked to cause a stir but otherwise, you don't see them, they're under the cover of the land?

A lot of Scorpio dominant people I've seen are bald too. Maybe that's a hint?

Oh sorry SSS. You asked if I have any Fire, in Chinese or Western?

I'm a Fire Snake Month in Chinese and I have an Aries Ascendant in Western.

I like the Pig better. As in the animal or sign? I'd rather it be called the Pig. It is called the Pig, but they call it the Boar in Japanese Astrology.

Your dragon year, are you a fire Dragon like DeepFreeze? Probably not because I think you're younger.
It's cool to be a dragon, lucky! That's a fun year to be born!

Sometimes it's pig, other times boar, like with the sheep and goat year, same thing. I just wondered which you liked better? I guess you would rather it be called pig. It's practically the same except the pig was domesticated and the boar remains wild. If you set a pig free and let it live wild, in a few generations, the descendants will look like boars, not so much domestic pigs, and they will grow those tusks. Their muzzles change, too.
