Cappy, this is why I don't count outer planets because everyone in our generation has domicile plutoIf you don't count outer planets, you have Saturn. If you count outer planet, then count pluto IP: Logged |

1. There can be no final dispositor if there is mutual reception.2. The final dispositor has to be in the sign of its own rulership. (e.g Mars in Aries, Moon in Cancer, Pluto in Scorpio) 3. If the final dispositor is also ruler of ascendant, the influence of that planet will dominate the life. -Rulers of the Horoscope: Finding Your Way Through the Labyrinth IP: Logged |

Yes. You have a grand/ultimate dispositor. Saturn. Now check your saturn. How strong/aspects/delineations etc. Outers are not dispositors. IP: Logged |

Exactly. mutual reception means they share rulership,so no ultimate/grand dispositor. IP: Logged |

Hahaha in some ways To Ellyn, if a chart doesn't have a sole dispositor, how does that work when one or more planets share rulership? Like in mine, either my planets are in mutual reception or they rule other planets but nothing stands on top. And what does it mean if Venus is independent? Or is it..? It's domicile Libra and it doesn't disposit anything. IP: Logged |

That's Independent.A Mutual Reception is like a figure eight placement, you tend to go back and forth on things. Sometimes you get a Circle of Dispositors where things just keep going in a never-ending loop (Venus in Sag/Jupiter in Leo/Sun in Taurus, back to Venus...) It's all about who has final say in your life. You just look at which Planets go to which Dispositor at the end of the day. That's their go-to guy. IP: Logged |

My dispositors are... scattered. but I feel that the moon-merc-jupiter t-square dynamic is most palpable in my daily life. Jupiter is the dispositor of the moon, merc and jupiter are in mutual reception. I think mercury being in the apex of the t-square and my asc ruler is the focus of everything.

hmmm no, however, mercury is a major player in your chart K. But no sole grand dispositor. IP: Logged |

Those that are in the black circles are the final dispositors. Those in the blue circles are mutual reception planets. Not everyone has a sole dispositor. IP: Logged |

I would take a good look at my chart on a grid, and compare the Mutual Reception Planets, try to balance it out in my mind.If there are Aspects between them, or Parallels, Contra-Parallels, I would take those into account, and try to figure it out from there. Really there is SO much to a chart. IP: Logged |

I'm still starting to grasp the concept of dispositorship and parallels/contraparallels. They seem to be very important but it's usually overlooked. But IMO, it's easier to look into a chart with a sole dispositor that's why I'm kinda having a hard time figuring out mine hahahah IP: Logged |
