Well, I'm not a man, but I do have an Aquarius moon (Scorpio sun) and attract fellow lunar Aquarians. Here are some traits I've noticed:

-Intelligent. Not to be arrogant or anything, but I've noticed that this placement tends to make people very bright. It's kind of hard to realize at times since there's a quality of aloofness, but we like to think about psychology, science, tech, ... it varies but something that is on the horizon, that influences the world. So, intelligence is a HUGE plus in our partners.

-Unconventional. Men with moon in Aquarius appreciate unconventional home life. I remember reading that a couple both with moon in Aquarius didn't have any dishes or silverware in their home, but always ate with paper plates and plastic sporks (which apparently is weird, but I thought it was a good idea)I think you mentioned the man in question had sun in Taurus, which might override what his moon wants. I also think the sun in Taurus might make him more possessive.

-Aloof. Back to the aloof thing again. Yeah, this is true. If most people take a point of view on earth, than lunar Aquarians are like 30,000 feet above. However, there's still a need to be cared for (even though he probably won't admit it). Eventually he'll open up to you, but it will take time. People think Aquarian energy is cold, but there are still feelings. We're just inarticulate about them. Oh, and maybe once in a while there'll be an emotional breakdown, with fits of anger and sadness. Lunar Aquarians, especially men, aren't very in touch with their feelings so someone who is understanding would be a great partner.

Since there is a combo of Taurus energy and Aquarius energy, this guy will probably be stubborn, practical, and determined (fixed sign combo!), but also sweet (in a detached way).

I had a huge crush once on a guy who had an Aquarius Moon, it was conjunct my Mars. It was a super fun connection and the attraction was certainly mutual. The thing is... He was very hot and cold. I was too at the time (I have a Virgo Moon), but mostly because I didn't know where he stood and my Virgo side would immediatly put the walls up. I never really noticed any "I need space" behaviour from him, as I'm not the clingy type anyway, but I'm sure that if our relationship progressed that side of him would definitely have been expressed as he also has strong Saggitarean energies on his chart, on top of his Aquarius Moon. He was extremely independant and had a strong personality... People either loved or hated him. He couldn't give a f*** about what they thought really though and always did his thing, that's one of the things that I mostly loved about him.

But yea... VERY hot and cold. Not good.
