I have an interesting point to add.Prince Charles has Venus in Libra, and yet he favored Camilla Parker Bowles over Diana... Yes, looks play a role in attraction, but it's the unique CHEMISTRY that we have with another which has the strongest influence. IP: Logged |

When I look at pictures of the young Camilla, I think she's cute. I don't consider her unattractive in the least. I don't understand why people do. She looks sweet. Charles first met her when she was a young lady.IP: Logged |

I disagree. My ex has both Venus/Mars in Aries and he was absolutely NOT metro at all. He would only "dress up" on special occasions. He otherwise dressed very plainly or sporty. He did enjoy cologne though. IP: Logged |

I agree here. Much moreso than Libra Venus. An old girlfriend of mine has Venus Leo. She is very vain - very into HER looks & the looks of her PARTNER. Good person otherwise, though. Of course, she'd want him to have money & spoil her. But all her guys would only do that occasionally - she had a horrible habit of falling for the wrong men! IP: Logged |

This thread went every which way. This person does not need the person to look good for HIS ego. He gets a visceral, icky feeling when the person does not. This reminds me of Venus in Virgo who cannot stand a little taste of spice or an off smell. I am thinking it may be a visceral thing with Venus in Libra. That is my point, Friends. ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. Ideally my woman would be taller than average , Caucasian, with blue eyes. But.... I can find short Asian or black women attractive too .. The only deal breaker for me is obesity.. Just no . I'm a husky guy and would gladly date a chubby girl but there are limits.
This is pretty fair. I know I have more than one type myself. But if I'm not into you...it will never EVER work. IP: Logged |

They don't seem to understand what Venus in Leo is like. It does make me more self focused, self centered. I will admit it. It does not make me an elitist or someone that wants to be seen with movers and shakers. You are thinking of Venus in Capricorn. They, typically, want to be with someone that has more status than they.
I have venus in cap and know other venus in cap. I want someone who is mature and reliable. If they have signifantly less status than I do, it's gonna be rough but in general it's not my biggest concern. I think lots of venus in cap fail in love and are very cautious[/B][/QUOTE]If a man has venus in capricorn ,do he prefer a woman higher status than him too? Thnks IP: Logged |

Sounds like the bad Libra. Or maybe natally, he's just very vain and/or concerned with "public appearances with girlfriend". IP: Logged |

This Venus likes for their partner to have something helpful to add to the relationship. They would like a partner with a career, one who is well liked at their work and going places. Upwardly mobile. They have innate respect for authority, structures, and admire people who can successfully manipulate surroundings to their advantage which is what they have a knack for doing. They see someone else with that same ability as a benefit and would like to get with them. It's a pragmatic Venus. It's not an altogether terrible quality because it helps everyone in the long run. If two people are financially successful and together, both benefit. It's one less thing for them to worry about in the future. IP: Logged |

^ I'd say that some points of SSS's description of cap venus ring true for me. Especially this: quote: Originally posted by StarlightSmileSupreme: It's one less thing for them to worry about in the future.
I'd also add that I and the ones I know, we often don't go for a partner who are in need of "saving" and/or emotionally unstable or prone to depression. quote: Originally posted by StarlightSmileSupreme: This Venus likes for their partner to have something helpful to add to the relationship.

all of what SSS and 12muddy said. i'm not sure about higher status, but must be responsible, practical, reliable. I have seen Capricorn Venus being very devoted to their partners. I would too and cheating is unlikely. I think Cap venus just make a lot of mistakes in love early on because they idealize their partners' perceived maturity ... to think about it, how easy it is to manipulate someone like that, especially for women with cap venus. as time passes, they learn their saturnian lesson (or not) and stay away from troubled water IP: Logged |

Most people i've known who are into looks are Aries.Libra Venus, Moon, Sun, mercury and Mars tends to like good manners and a generally likable temperement. If you happen to be charming and good-looking, they won't let you go. I have a Mars in Libra and i tend to swoon over looks too but find that a generally attractive disposition overall, is more engaging(including all the other personality traits) Leo placements, as those mentioned above, tend to be all "roar" and no show. What i mean by that is ,they may like a trophy on their arm and even fuss a lot on their looks. But when it comes to the real deal, a more grounded partner wins overall(looks aside). Leo is fixed after all and fixed signs like stability and longevity. They'll have that over anything and are not likely to admit it without first putting up a front. Virgo placements are another that seem to be into looks. But i think that the preoccupation with looks also tends to be a projected self deficiency that, over time, becomes stabilised. The virgo placements, when stabilised, start to look at the individual on a more wholistic and practical level. They may seem , according to others, to marry or be involved with people others around them least expected to get their attention(maybe because the prospective attractions do not conform to what others say is their "perfectionistic" standards). My boyfriend has venus in Libra and I noticed a long time ago that he seems to like 'arm candy'; flashy type of partner he can show off to friends (has Leo moon/asc though so maybe they influence this). There's definitely a 'type' - I notice most Libra influenced guys go for femininity - in my partners own words, a girl who is 'wild but innocent looking', so long hair, makeup, nice eyes etc.He puts a huge amount of emphasis on a woman's intelligence (don't forget that Libra is an airy, cerebral sign - mental is as big a turn on as physical) and personality, but looks definitely make up at least half of the deal for him. I'm also a Libra venus and I'd say I have the same kind of views. IP: Logged |

Not in my opinion. The Libra Venus men I have known have been attracted to tomboyish women.IP: Logged |

I have noticed two types;1.Those who are massively into looks and aesthetics. So much so that they pay attention to physical body parts that they insist their "ideal" should have. 2.The second type is more into the personality. The refined, well spoken, articulate and put together type do it for them. Looks are not all important to them. But kindness, maturity and a considerate nature turns them on to you. If a friend of yours feels guilty about being strictly attracted to looks, you should ask them what they are willing to sacrifice or overlook for looks? There is always something one prizes more than good looks.Something someone wants to have a round throughout their relations with a potential mate. Usually people who are waaay into looks don't have long term relationships as they are usually interested in staying on the surface of a person and not going into the depths. I used to believe I like fit guys. Guys into gym and muscular. Until I met a guy whom was not really all that muscular but had such a "swagger" about, he was in fire. I dated him and my sex drive was at its peak throughout. Never even noticed or tempted to stray whilst in the relationship. I have Venus in Scorpio in 7th and Mars in Libra conjunct the 7th.
