The idea that Libran people live and die by looks is a stupid stereotype anyway so I'd say "No".No I don't have that placement, but Libra IS the strongest sign in my chart and I have four planets there. We like beauty when we see it but it's not to the point of obsession where we'll exclude everyone and everything else that is not beautiful. They are probably very 'pleasant' in relationships and like everything very well-mannered and peaceful, more than likely. IP: Logged |

I know a Venus Libra man and his wife is not a looker, although she has the look of someone gentle and pleasant. He himself pays very little attention to his own looks, as he is very much into his career which resolves around exposing injustice and rallying for environmental change. So, he's the type that sort of rolls out of bed in the morning and barely runs a comb through his hair. Wears the same sweater a lot. Obviously very little thought to his own appearance, and I find that men like that aren't very picky about their women's looks. Im a Libra Venus female and i am into looks. I like metrosexual men that care about their looks - nice hair, designer clothes, nice shoes, clean nails, perfume..My S.O. Is a Scorpio with a Libra Venus and he is huge into looks, very very picky - models, escorts type of women, not only their physical beauty, but also clothes, shoes, nails, nice toes, accessories ..everything must be right. Ny ex was a Libra with a Libra Venus. - again, very much into female beauty. He was a leg man - long legs, sexy lingerie was a must, long hair, heels, femininity turned him on ... I'm a girl and ok, I like boys who have pretty faces but he has to be natural not metrosexual. And I love men best when they just have nothing but a tshirt and baggy trousers on.. Character is important in the sense that we should have similar interests. If he likes dancing and music, that is a plus. Other than that, he should be cute, kind and funny.. Actually, I'd love to marry a true gentleman like one of those in the old movies.. So no, looks aren't everything ! Also, I believe that fashion is mostly for girls :P IP: Logged |

So looks do matter.Not surprising for Air-Fire venus, usually into their own looks or their partners if perhaps they lack good looks. So maybe you would rather not want a partner that rivals you. IP: Logged |

Actually that's not true... The media has a powerful influence over what people find attractive .. Case and point... I'm into a guys looks but I could care less what he wears... Ok maybe I care some (he's got to appear decent at least lol). BUT I could care less about if he wears designer this or that. You're mostly paying for a name so I'll pass. Just look put together and smell nice (even if you smell like soap) . quote:

^^ What is bolded above is true for me. If I find someone attractive I find them attractive. I don't have a "set type" really, looking at all of the guys I've ever found attractive there is literally no pattern as far as looks go lol. I can't speak for all people with a libra venus, but me personally this placement hasn't made me super into looks. For example I'm not like "He has to have green eyes, brown hair, and be 6ft tall or taller, with dimples, and long eyelashes or else I won't date him" lol IP: Logged |

Aries too even if it's suppose to be in detriment.
They really fussy about their hair and clothes.
Males and females.
A lot of them are very good looking but that is something I just observed. I think most aries venus guys I know are metro.... well many of them have Jupiter in Libra.

I think everyone is going to say regardless of their venus they are not vain.. while most humans are at least somewhat concerned about looks..Well I can admit looks do matter to me to some extent, I'm not obsessed with looks.
I mean unless I fall in love with someone I know very well.. but how often does that happen to people?
Though I am realistic enough to know who is out of my league.
I'm not critical but I can't date anyone i find physically unappealing now can I?
I'm not going to have sex under the covers with the lights turned off...

Most people that post about Venus in Leo do not have it. They don't seem to understand what Venus in Leo is like. It does make me more self focused, self centered. I will admit it. It does not make me an elitist or someone that wants to be seen with movers and shakers. You are thinking of Venus in Capricorn.
