I tried to do that with Math once and I completely ended up flunking the test. It's like, I got it when I was reading it, but then when I try to remember how it went according to the book, I totally just blanked out. ------------------ Gemini Ascendant Sun in Leo Moon in Cancer Mercury in Virgo Venus in Virgo Mars in Libra "You were born a lion. Yep, that's easy to do with math I have math anxiety, too.

That's maybe why I find it hard to learn without someone explaining things to me. As for air mercuries, think about air, it dodges solid objects that stand in its way. It actually connects with the way you learn. You "dodge" the actual learning process which is the lecture and after a while, you get to your destination which is the information you needed to acquire.
Great example! (or is it called an analogy?) I liked that IP: Logged |

It's okay to admit your flaws. I totally respect peope who do that. I mean, I have Mercury in Virgo and I'm supposed to be really good in Math but honestly, it's my worst subject in school. And about your dream to be recognized by intellect, is your Sun aspecting your Uranus? This could be why. It's okay not to become the most intelligent person, but if you think of it this way, you have very original ideas. Also, if you learn to work with the squares to your Mercury and study real hard, you could achieve that dream. I believe in the power of free will.

Thank you, I respect people who admit their flaws, too. Yes, my Sun trines Uranus. Wouldn't Pallas in Virgo give some similar results as Mercury in Virgo? Even if Math isn't your best subject, I notice you're good with words, so is English and literature your better subject? IP: Logged |

I am not very informed in Asteroid astrology, but from what I read, yes, it does give similar results as Mercury in Virgo--although (I think) the effects aren't as evident as an actual Virgo mercury. ------------------ Gemini Ascendant Sun in Leo Moon in Cancer Mercury in Virgo Venus in Virgo Mars in Libra "You were born a lion. Why doesn't astrology count Virgo mercury as domicile?I think Mercury in the traditional sense fits with Virgo. Virgo mercuries I know are really smart. Not all aquarius mercuries are smart though .... They can be genius but many of them are just strange. IP: Logged |

Domicile and exaltation, I think.

Astrology does count Mercury in Virgo as domicile, as well as exalted. Domicile = Dignified = Rulership - all the same thing, different terms. IP: Logged |

Most of the sites and the books I've read DO count Virgo mercury as domicile. It's just that they mostly associate it with Gemini because Gemini is quick and alert, just like Hermes (Mercury). And yes, I do think so too. Aquarius mercury just gives a person a utopian mind.

^Yeah, and Mercury in Gemini is considered the direct Mercury, because it exudes it's obvious personality, if that is what theunknown meant.Just like Mars in Aries is considered the direct Mars, or Venus in Libra as the direct Venus. IP: Logged |

Yeah I kind of noticed they're more evident in the masculine signs. ------------------ Gemini Ascendant Sun in Leo Moon in Cancer Mercury in Virgo Venus in Virgo Mars in Libra "You were born a lion. Don't die a sheep." ~ Leos ♌️ IP: Logged |

Yeah. And the exception of Saturn in Capricorn vs. Saturn in Aquarius. Saturn in Capricorn is the direct Saturn because it shows Saturn's natural personality within that sign easily and evident. IP: Logged |

Yeah good point. Though, I don't really see how Saturn is domicile in Aquarius. I always think of Saturn as a controlled planet. I don't see that in Aquarian personality. It could be the emotional aloofness since Aquarius seems to be as emotionally cold as Capricorn.

Gemini is home in Mercury. Here it functions similar to what it does in Virgo but with more oomph because of the masculine air sign domicile instead of receptive, feminine earth.IP: Logged |

Yeah, Aquarius is ruled by Uranus and co-ruled by Saturn, while Capricorn in only ruled by Saturn, so it expresses all of it's full traits easily. IP: Logged |

Okay I actually intend to stick around really long. So much information I'm gathering around here and it's great. I honestly just don't see how Saturn co-rules Aquarius except for the fact that it makes many Aquarians emotionally cold.
